Works perfectly great value.

Had this a week or two now wanted to see how it would hold up before reviewing. I am very impressed with the quality for the price. First thing I noticed is the item does not come with any kind of power just a USB cable, you can charge directly from the XBOX or from any USB power plug into a wall. The unit itself is very small and light, does not take up a lot of space. I placed both the batteries on the unit without being attached to controller, they hold in place and initial charging for both batteries took about 30-40 minutes. The light around the outside indicates not fully charged by turning orange and is green when fully charged. The light around the side also makes a pretty cool nigh light. The controller fits very nicely and snug into the unit if you put the controller on it. So far has been perfect, charges fine and I have swapped around the batteries several times with no issue. I have seen other reviews saying it is low quality but it works, I don't think its low quality at all, its light and its plastic doesn't mean it's low quality, it's well designed and functions exactly as is required, that's all the quality you need.

Pretty Nice, and Looks Good

I bought this because I was tired of searching all over the place for batteries lol. Usually last me about 3 days before I get the notification that my batteries are low, but I always have the spare charging. Works ALOT better if you have an extra controller to help seat it in the charger, but you can get it to fit without one as well. You'll be fine with this. Red means charging, green means charged!

Wait For It...

Ordered these hoping I would get a 'good' unit without any problems identified in these Reviews. Plugged in after arriving and waited 3 days and the charging lights were still red (charging)!! Decided to use the remotes to see where the charge level was at and they, both remotes, were fully charged... Even though the charging lights were still red (charging) when the remotes were in the charger. Played games for a couple days, without recharging remotes, and when I put the remotes back in charging station the lights went red again (charging). The next morning both charging lights were green, fully charged!! I've been using the remotes for about two weeks now and the charger seems to be functioning correctly. They both charge (red light) after using remotes, and are fully charged (green light) when I get up the next morning. I guess the batteries, included with the charging station, need to be 'cycled' for a couple days (use em - charge em) before the charging station starts working properly. I ALMOST SENT THIS BACK when they didn't work initially but gave it a couple days and it works great now.. Recommend when you initially use the batteries, included with the charging station, you initially charge them overnight (at least 12 hours) then use the remotes until they are almost dead before recharging them again. That seems to get the Charging Station calibrated correctly and recharging the remotes works as should - red light while charging and green light when fully charged.

Best $20 I Spent!

The product you are about to talk to yourself about purchasing is indeed a well useful item to have in a gaming environment. You decided to check the reviews to see the pros and cons of this product. I can assure you one thing, this item is a MUST! When setting this up it was to easy. All it takes to power is an empty USB port on your console. The rechargeable battery packs fit like a charm, but the most important part is the charging process. Takes about 10 - 20 mins from a dead battery to a live battery (give or take). Also, the RBG effect on the side from red to green is pretty interesting. When the item sees that the battery is full it changes from red-yellow-green slowly and very smoothly. As previously said, this item is a MUST for your gaming environment. PS: You can leave the controllers on the charging stations without worrying about the batteries losing their charge. the product makes sure to stop charging the batteries when it reaches max charge.

I got this yesterday. The packaging was top notch. Set this up and the batteries charged super fast. Been playing for hours and these things just keep going. And I have the back on stanbuy. Must have when you dive into assassin's Creed universe, when your playing days on end. Nice product.

Excellent method to keep controllers charged and ready to go.

These work exactly as advertised. The rechargeable battery lasts well. I've not had any problem using the controller to play for several hours at a time. They seem to charge very quickly when placed back in the charger. The base unit shows a red LED when charging and green when fully charged. The only complaint is that the LED indicator wraps all the way around the base and is quite bright. If placed alongside a TV, it becomes distracting, so I placed my in a hidden area t avoid this concern. This does however cause the controllers to be slightly hard to get to and negates the ability to see if they are done charging, but this is a minor annoyance. I do recommend this charger.

Great Value, works fine

Not much to dislike here. My only con is that the green lights don't turn off when there is nothing on the dock charging. So you either have to unplug it or live with it. Personally I don't mind the light, it adds a nice ambiance and also works as a night light. If you are plugging this into the console for power expect it to take some time, like several hours if the batteries are completely dead. Haven't tried powering this with an AC adapter yet to see if there is a difference. Still, it's clean and it works as expected at a great price.

Speedy fast Charging station! 5 stars hands down!

I am pleastly surprised at how fast this charging station charged our dead controllers. We made the mistake and didn’t buy any charging devices at Christmas when we bought our Xbox, so we neeeded a quick fix. I just received these today and plugged them in, within a few hrs our lights turned green and we were fully charged. Awesome product and a great price, would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Looks nice and charges quickly.

Nice looking and holds the controller very securely. My only complaint is that the charge base glows very bright green even when not charging and I haven't found a way to turn it off without unplugging the base. A setting to only light when charging would be great.

This charger makes my life a whole lot easier!

I have trouble with my hands so using a USB charging cord is a real hassle and I always end up breaking them and the port. With this charger I don't have to worry about that. Also there's always a charged battery ready to go for when the one I'm using dies, which is an added bonus. For me personally, having to change out the battery packs more frequently is a small price compared to having to buy a whole new controller because I messed up the port.
