I have a large Denon AVR-4802 receiver. I've had in many different cabinets over the years and have always been concerned over heat dissipation. A great 7 channel receiver but has always run hot, even when sitting on open glass shelves. NO more heat issues with these baby's!! I have them placed on top, after 6 hours or heavy wattage cool to the touch. Whisper quiet, low setting is enough. I wish I had these years ago. BEST thing you could do for your system, period.

Fantastic, quiet, powerful AC and USB powered computer style fans. I needed something to help cool my blu-ray and old PS3 cabinet a bit, and this fits the bill! NOTES: -3 speed settings. I keep it on L (low) all the time. The M and H are great but I don't need that much power. I bought the version of this multifan that comes with the "overclocked" AC adaptor for the USB plug. Makes the fans run a bit faster than if they were plugged into a standard USB port. Go fig I didn't that, it's definitely powerful enough without that. No matter what speed you choose, it's always whisper quiet. Literally, you can barely hear it across the room. The switch controls both fans at the same time. No independent control. You can also use the switch to turn the fans off. -You can daisy-chain multiple USB fans together from this brand. Don't need to, but this set is wired with a female USB connection for another set. The fan switch control would control ALL fans at the same time. -There is roughly 44 inches cable length between the 2 fans. -There is roughly 6 ft of cable between the splitter for the fans, and the USB power connection. -The rubber feet can be removed if desired. You have to unscrew the fans first, and then you can take the screw out of the rubber. -When you remove the rubber feet, this removes the fan grills as well. You can remove the fans on both sides. If you don't like the grills, you can replace them with something else. Standard 120mm covers/grills work on these just fine. -You can re-orient the fan power cord to the intake or outtake sides. There's a little groove for that. -It's about 5 inches wide by 5 inches tall. The fan itself is 1 in thick. but the grills add about half an inch more, and the rubber feet another half inch. See images for more detail. These are 120mm fans through and through, with a thick grill. -If you need to rewire these for any reason, they are simple two wire fans with a black (ground) and red (power) cord. Currently, these bring my temperatures down from 81-83 degrees in the cabinet to about 73-75, depending on the day. Room temperature is usually around 73, so it does a great job keeping things almost at room temp, just on Low power! UPDATE: So for another application, I bought a seperate 120mm AC Infinity fan to add onto this. If you are planning on linking / daisy chaining more fans, the fan/controller with it's wire/speed control closets to the outlet (lowest in the chain) controls ALL later connections. What does this mean? If your first fan is set to Medium, all subsequent fans can only go to Medium. For me, I had to set the first fan to High, then my subsequent to Medium for my needs to get the airflow right. Small issue, and of course since it's USB connections you can always just get USB outlet adapters to get around the issue. No star deduction as I had a small feeling that happens.

These so far have out done all other fans we have/had. We just replaced another set of fans with these because these are so nice. Time will tell if they last the 60 sum thousand hours they say they will, will update if they fail too prematurely. As for noise level, we have them on low, which is still overkill for most applications, and they are so quiet, that unless its 2am and dead quiet we can't even tell they are on. I think in the reviews that some people have unrealistic expectations and/or don't understand CFM and how much air they really need to move. We have plenty of experience with these type of small fans, and with that experience, can say that these so far are the best we have purchased. These are our new go to fan.

First off, two things: not mounted as intended and not using on AV equipment. But please read next paragraph. These fans and my AC Infinity blower are awesomely very quiet, not silent and not unheard especially if they were in a quiet room, but very quiet. Having have built custom cooling for my older AV cabinets and PCs for years and now needing a custom cooling solution for my home network gear yet not wanting the 80mm PC fan screen, and 120mm PC fan whispers, I stumbled across this brand and some solutions others had employed for their network gear. I was attracted by the PWM (DC power equivalent of VFD for AC) since I was very interested in a high, yet controllable, flow and this brand delivered: flow, control (O/L/M/H or optional controller), quiet. I am not disappointed. I have been studying and comparing this brand and their components and systems for nearly a year and I could not find a reasonable product on the market in the performance and price point as these. And, while they were not a perfect mounting fit for my needs, I was able to easily devise a secure, reliable and effective mount for each. Note: the twin fans have a limited, max distance placement due to being factory wired to the same harness. Not a problem in "as intended" installs, but definite consideration for custom uses. The equipment mine are mounted to are just under 12" fan-center-to-center and still have slack in the harness. 9-days of use and counting summary: my equipment is running FAR cooler than it ever has, and there seems to be far fewer (heat related?) Gremlins in my wired and wireless networks. Very Satisfied and KICKING myself for not getting sooner. Already planning to now install controller, and will be buying more ACI cooling equipment VERY soon to show my AV equipment the same love. Loving it.

I have two pairs, one for cooling my home theater (powered by the USB port on one of my TIVOs), and the other set I used to add air movement around my two cats' litter box. Yes, seriously, it totally worked. On lowest setting they still move a fair amount of air and you cannot hear them at all from even 3 feet away. On medium setting they are slightly audible from about 10 feet away, but not enough that you would hear them over even the quietest part of a movie. On high they could still work depending on how you are using them (on the back of an enclosed A/V cabinet you would probably not really hear them). The rubber washers work well to dampen any vibrations.

These guys found a niche and dominated it with a quality product. This is what business should be - quality, functionality, and a fair price. Review: Very effective fans! On the low setting they are very quiet. It may take you a few days to get used to the noise, but I mean, they’re about as low noise as a fan can get. These fans brought my router and modem down a whopping 10-20C! On the lowest setting. For perspective, my router used to crash from overheating (put a lot of load on it), but now it hasn’t crashed a single time. My SB6183 modem used to get really hot - now it’s (no joke) cold to the touch. I’m probably about to order another pair of these... they’re seriously amazing!

I built a computer about 8 months ago and the case I picked turned out to be a bit cramped with my build. While the system was very usable, maintaining upper mid-50s on the CPU and upper 60s on the GPU I wanted a bit more cooling. I got the dual S7-P and added a third fan I already had to the USB connector. The two AC Infinity fans are used outside on top of the case to bring in more fresh air and the other fan is mounted on the side as a second exhaust. This brought my CPU temps to the high 40s full load, my GPU down to the low 60s and dropped my RAM temps by ~6 degrees. I run the fans on the highest setting about 3 meters away from me and barely hear them over the ambient noise in my living space. What I do hear is a soft noise and in no way intrusive. Already plan on using some of these in my next build for that little bit of extra cooling. 10/10 will buy again.

I used these fans to help vent the heat from my camper's refrigerator. So far, I've used them on one trip where the daytime temperatures were around 80 degrees and they seemed to work great. There was very little heat that built up around the top vent and the refrigerator cooled very well. I used these fans on the highest speed and they are very quiet. I actually would have liked a higher speed to move a little more air. The fans connected very easily to the camper's vents with small bungee cords and were easy to remove and store when not needed. The wires between the fans were long enough that I could have mounted one fan on the lower vent blowing in and one on the top vent blowing out without any problem. I'll keep using them and see how the refrigerator performs when the outside air temperatures are above 90 degrees. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend them for an easy, quiet solution in problem ventilation areas.

I am very happy with these fans. I am using them for an odd purpose. I affixed them to an Antminer S9 mining rig that is submerged in mineral oil for cooling. The fans turn slowly in the oil, but it is sufficient to circulate the cooled oil past the hot hashing cards. It has been running nonstop without any problem. Note: I did accidentally unplug these fans, and the temperatures of the mining rigs skyrocketed. This just proves how valuable the fans are to my design. As far as their intended purpose of cooling gaming boxes, they are very well made with thick rubber feet to both hold them down and quiet them. They spin very well and quietly in the air.

These AC Infintiy fans are excellent. Where have you been all my life!!! LOL I prefer high quality audio that can really push crystal clear wattage. The amplifiers that can do this (at => 700 watts per channel) put out a lot of heat. If your receiver is in a cabinet to protect it from dust/debris, etc. the receiver will build heat. These fans are very, very quiet and move a lot of air, keeping my receiver completely cool, preventing over heating and premature circuit burn-out. If you have high wattage equipment, I highly recommend these fans. They are mountable or portable with no-scratch silicone feet. An excellent product at a great price! A.C. Infinity did these right!
