Medea software made for WINDOWS 10

One of the special things we do for my wife's Kindergarteners, is she uses an old flip video camera to take short snippets of their year at every fun activity, and after the Easter Egg Hunt is over, during spring break, I start to edit them together, and make DVDs for the parents to see how their 4 year olds who couldn't hold a pencil or crayon at the beginning of the year, turn into 5 year olds who through play, activities and schoolwork, have been transformed into 5 year olds who read and write and can speak in front of a group. Last year the DVD didn't turn out great, due to the upgrade to Windows 10 on all the computers around the house, and I had software issues. This Vegas Movie Studio Suite is mad for windows 10, so next week I will put it to the test. It has a lot of cool features, so I plan on making a sentimental music soundtrack instead of the sound from the videos. My wife debuts the video on the giant screen during open house, and hamds them copies with the memory books of all their artistic projects. I am looking forward to using this product, if it works half as well as it should I will be adding to this review, on the other hand if I for some reason like last year have issues like last year, I will completely rewrite it... and not in a good way. Excellent Video Software

This is an excellent suite of video editing products that will help you to produce wonderful videos. I am not taking any stars away for the installation process. It may take time, but eventually it is more important how the software works - and it does very well. Get it loaded and then enjoy all of the power you have to shape and form your videos the way you want them. This only works with Windows and comes with several allied products. You can choose which ones you want to use and not install others. If you want the most flexibility with your videos, you may want to use all of them. The user interface is easy to understand and use even if you are not used to the program. Take your time to learn the more powerful features and you will be surprised at the results. This really is a very comprehensive set of tools.

So far I have liked this version of the product

I have been using the Vegas Movie Studio suite since it was version 11. I prefer to purchase the disc rather than download as I have experienced difficulties with the various version of the program across many years. This has required that I reinstall Movie Studio from time to time. Purchasers should be advised that when purchasing the disc you may not actually be getting the latest version of the product. In purchasing the 14 Suite I found that it was version 91. I went to my MAGIX account and uploaded the latest version (148 I believe) which is supposed to fix various bugs. So far I have liked this version of the product. It is quite powerful and renders great results when coupled with Sonicfire Pro 6 which is part of the "suite" for Vegas Movie Studio 14. There are many YouTube tutorial videos available for this version which help greatly to maximize its usefulness.

I like it.

VEGAS Movie Studio 14 Suit is the complete suite for video editing and has more things to offer than the last version. A couple of things I like are the new a hover scrub technology, and smart upscaling technology. You can create professional 2D and 3D titles, captions, and credits. RED cameras are now supported too. It does have an intuitive drag-and-drop workflow as they claim. It did take some time to learn this software and I still have not mastered it, but it is very good in my opinion.

Ok to buy

I had Vegas 9 for years and the install code expired in 2015. I bought Vegas 14 and had some issues with the program using my computer. You have to update driver and a big plus was it has codec for Cannon. It seems to have found the resources it uses after a few player installs and updates on the laptop side.
