These are fantastic!! Our cat is an older cat and doesn't scratch furniture but we noticed her scratching an outdoor rug we had brought in but had not put away yet. So we thought maybe she would like something like this since she paid no attention to her scratching post. Yep... they were a total hit! She's scratches them to shreds!!! They are made to only be one-sided but the very thin decorative cardboard is barely glued into place (I saw another comment that said the boxes are strong enough to hold up on their own without the decorative cover part - so not true!!!!). It's very easy to take off and you can have two sides. Each side (for our one cat) lasts about a month. So we get 6 months of use from this pack. BONUS: Because they are 100% cardboard they are recyclable! Definitely recommend a set of these for your kitty!

My cats really love these scratchers. I think part of the appeal is that they are extra wide and the cats can sleep on them as well as scratch on them. I scatter them all over the house and cats find them. They are well used. I will definitely continue to buy this product.

Many people have complained that these aren’t two sided. If you flip it over and look closely there is a tab and it’s perforated all around the bottom. Just pull on the tab and peel the bottom panel off, now it’s two sided. There are even directions on the back explaining this. My cats love these scratchers.

I make & sell wood frames (ParkersScratchers on Etsy) for cardboard cat scratchers, so I've seen about 10 different brands. These are a nicely made insert. What I noticed is they do not have a bunch of dust and manufacturing 'debris' down inside them. (some are nasty) They appear to be made by the same company as Target's 'Boots & Barkley' scratchers.

I've been purchasing these at Walmart for years for my cat at $10 a piece. I actually like these more than those and much cheaper. I love the 3 pack because I have them all over because my cat loves them. So it's nice to get 3 for the price of 2!! My cat seems to love these just as much as she did the others. Verdict is still out for how long they last compared to the others. But I would recommend!!! Update: I'm fairly certain these things are made of steel (haha - just kidding)! They are holding up WAAYYY better than the ones I use to purchase at Walmart!!! I am now a faithful customer!!!! Would recommend to anyone!!!

Hi ~ These are great !!! - my kat loves them & you don't find itty-bitty cardboard confetti all over the floor like the ones with 2 sides - Every time I would flip one over, all the particles were everywhere - these are glued to the cardboard & works fantastic with keeping catnip contained & still be able to play with the aroma - much cleaner - also has little cardboard spikes that poke out & grab on to the carpeting or rugs - will always get these from now on - thanks for reading !!!!! As a multi-cat household, I've become a bit of a connoisseur of the durability of cardboard scratches for cats. This 3 pack is less expensive than what we can find in our local big box store and are beloved by our cat household for the XL size which is perfect for laying on while shedding those claw sheaths! I like that the box that holds the innards is fairly durable (two of my cats are chewers) as well. I go through a (double sided) scratcher every 6-8 weeks and I'm throughly happy with these.

As soon as this arrived, I placed one in the living room. One cat immediately started scratching her nails on it. The other waited her turn.. and then just laid on it because it's so comfy, apparently. It has been about a month and they still love it. The lounge cat lays on it most of the time. When it is unoccupied the other cat still continues to scratch on it. It is lasting as well as just about any scratcher I've purchased in the past. And it has a better price. It seems like they will last a long time. But when the kitties do eventually wear these out, I will definitely purchase more!

Not only are these cardboard scratchers hard to find, but many are overpriced. My cats have always preferred a wide cardboard scratcher they can climb on and dig with great vigor. I placed a soda can on the cardboard for a size reference. These are well made and can be flipped for use on another side for longer lasting value. Use inside the decorative frame or remove. I ordered three sets of these due to the item being well priced and hard to find. I have them located in several areas of my home. Easy to clean I just tap and vacuum the bits.

These are great! My three little terrors can oft be heard going to town on these. I'm glad they're using something other than my couch and carpet to maintain their fearsome claws. Glad it's a three pack of them. We had the silly idea of using one at a time but after the ensuing tussles over the single cat raft, we caved and put them all out. Well, we left one in the box, but it quickly became their favorite. So far they've held up really well. We've had them probably 5 months and they're still inspiring a feral blood lust in my little tigers.
