Small but mighty

Used on the side of my refrigerator to hold potholders, a large drying mat, and a hand towel. These replaced other magnetic hooks that constantly slid down the side of the fridge--now no problem with slippage. I'm very pleased. It's often small things like this that make life just a little easier.

Strong Enough to Support a Stainless Steel Pot

These magnets are strong and great for my purposes. They are not removed easily from my metal surfaces, and require a good grip and powerful pull to detach them. I bought the magnets to hang light items like keys and dog leashes to my metal front door that is opened and closed often. I also wanted to hang oven mitts over my stove and needed a very secure magnet so the oven mitts didn't accidentally fall onto my stove. I won't have to worry with these magnets. They will keep the oven mitts in place, as well as all the items attached to my swinging front door. I don't know what the pound-limit is for each magnet but one was able to support a large 3-quart Cuisinart stainless steel pot when I demonstrated how strong they were to a friend.

Get these for your next cruise!

These powerful little hooks are PERFECT for taking on a cruise! The cabin walls are metal, so they stick anywhere! Our favorite thing to do with them was magnet them to the ceiling then hang our backpacks on them. Easy to pack, also. Highly recommend for all cruisers! They work best when hanging from the ceiling. Hanging from a wall, they tend to slide down with any significant amount of weight.

Sturdy, Strong Hooks

These hooks are AWESOME. I didn't have super high expectations, but I bought them to hold oven mitts and pot holders hanging on the fridge, so I didn't need anything super strong or to hold a lot of weight. These things are plenty strong for my purpose, and much stronger than I expected. I haven't really tested how much weight they could hold because they did exactly what I wanted easily, but I do have a fourth to try in the future. But seriously, these are great!

Would I recommend these to a friend

They're strong magnets. With hooks. Just as advertised. Do they stick? Yes. The magnets work exactly as the laws of physics intended. Do the hooks hold things? Yes. They work exactly as the laws of metallurgy and geometry intended. Would I recommend these to a friend? I pray I never have a conversation so routine that I am extolling the virtues of magnetized key chain hooks. But should that moment arrive, I suppose it's within the realm of the possible that I could endorse this product. While it has technically never let me down, it has also never saved my life. These reside comfortably atop the bell curve of life, never failing, but also never being so superior that the annals of history enshrine them.

Strong!

Very pleased. These hooks attach so strongly to the side of my HVAC, I can barely dislodge them. They allow me to use several sq ft of the HVAC metal siding to hang bags in my pantry and increase storage space very economically. They're strong enough to hold cleaning tools or any number of household items. I like the flexibility to move them if my storage needs change. I am looking for an excuse to order more. Perhaps for the side of a file cabinet or garage freezer?

Exactly what I needed

These work exactly as promised. The magnets are powerful, and held spare purses, hats, wet clothes, and a number of other sundries on my last cruise. I've used them on both the walls and the ceilings and they performed perfectly without leaving any marks. I like that the hooks can be unscrewed from the magnetic base. I suggest storing and transporting them in the original packaging as the magnets get stuck together easily and are difficult to pull apart without mashing a finger or two.

not so great on the side

Exactly what I needed for my grilling utensils! Very strong when used underneath metal, not so great on the side, they slid with the weight of the utensils when I tried to place them on the outer edge.

Believe the hype

Great for hanging wreaths on our door. I have a couple on the fridge too. They’re best used for something you want to stay in place. It takes some umph to pull them off if the fridge to move them around. I’ve been using one on my front door for 2 months to hold a wreath. Hasn’t slipped once. These things are fantastic. You have to screw the hook into the magnet plate, but it’s not difficult.
