They work but the clip might be a gimmick.

They’re carabiner trauma shears. Not sure how useful the carabiner clip is because I’ve never been able to find a place to use it. I work in the medical field, so I keep my tools in my pockets or attached to my bag, not clipped to swing around freely.

Tough, durable shears

These shears are definitely tough. I am a nurse and use these shears several times per shift during wound rounds. They feel very smooth when cutting through layers. So far I feel as though these shears will cut through any material on a patient. The handles are well round and comfortable. The cutting edge is no joke sharp. These are not your typical throw-around generic shears. When I’ve leant them to my colleagues, they asked where I purchased them and I have easily convinced 3 of my colleagues to purchase one for themselves. I was skeptical about the spring loop but man has it served its purpose. I clip my shears to my stethoscope for easy access. These shears are very well made and I hope to have them for a long time

I am an emergency department trauma RN, and I need good quality shears that can get the job done quickly. These things cut through EVERYTHING - leather, denim, metal, belts, shoes, flesh (yep - I have definitely cut my own finger on accident while cleaning them). These things do it all with little effort. And, for the price? You can skip the $80 “screaming dinosaur” shears and grab 7 pair of these. They work better and you won’t feel as angry when your coworkers snag them “on accident” and they’re lost forever. For the price of these, I’d buy a new pair every week if I had to, they are that good. To make a great product even better, the customer service is top notch. These are strong.

I have bought 5 of these, one of which I keep on me at all times. It is large, but oh so strong. There is no wiggle or excess looseness. It is truly something I expect to last many many years. I don't abuse them, but I don't baby them either. They are perfect utility shears that you can always rely on. I have not been compensated in any way for this review. Purchased with my own money.

Cuts through metal

Won't ever buy another type of shears again. Currently an EMT and in Paramedic school. I once cut through a metal zipper on a motorcycle versus tree accident we had to airlift out. I've cut tape, metal, paracord, leather, nylon webbing, seat belts, and thick cardboard. Bought another pair for a backup. First pair got chipped on the edge. Called the company and had the best customer service of any company I've ever had. Owner of the company personally handled my problem.

The shears to buy!

The product is perfect for those working in an Emergency department. The clip holds the shears to a pocket, collar, or hem really well and it takes a lot of effort to just pull it off. It will not just arbitrarily fall off. You physically have to push the clip to get it off. This is the very best feature about these shears. They are also sharp, sturdy and function perfectly. The coating and color is great too! Don't leave these out or lend them out because you might not get them back!

Very sharp & good....

These are the best shears, so very sharp and are especially used for cuting gauze rolls and pads. Totally impressed with them and they come with a lifetime guarantee. Emt's use these which I can see why now. They cut like a knife thru butter, glad I purchased them.....

Great shears

So far, these shears have worked pretty well. I have not had to use them on any patient clothing thus far, but I have used it on other things and tested it on old sheets. They cut with ease and were recommended for me by a colleague that used them to cut through zippers and even canvas material clothing, which is highly impressive especially for the price!

Felt fancy without breaking the bank!

The next best thing if you don’t want to shell out $50 for one of those super fancy foldable shears. The all black is so sleek and fancy even the EM residents gawked and praised at it, and it shreads through denim tough clothes like butter! The little clip on the handle let me slip it on my scrubs. Great buy!
