National flags and US/Canada states are awesome! Perfect size and beautiful graphics overall.

The Travelization scratch map of the world is hands down one of my best purchases on Amazon so far. My goal is to travel as much as possible and this map is not only a beautiful element of my interior decor, it is also my daily source of travel inspiration. What I like about this map is that it is large in size, it has the country flags and also the US states, Canada and all other big countries have their regions labelled. You can easily scratch the gold layer with a coin and the tube package is nicely designed: truly "gift-ready". I am going to buy another one of those for my globetrotter friend's birthday soon. Well done, Travelization!

THE masterpiece in my minimalistic home.

I spent some time figuring out which map to purchase because I am really picky! There’s a lot available on Amazon. Most are just cheap-looking but overpriced Chinese copies of the original Luckies’ map. Many of these sellers also have fake reviews. Clearly written by the same person. Surprise? This map appeared to be much better than the original ones and I can confirm this is not just an impression. It is actually much more superior to all of the ones I’ve either skimmed through on Amazon or seen in real life. We travel a lot, but we live in a small place. We don’t have much stuff, but all that we have is the very best quality. Including this map: the European quality is quite evident. Extremely well done: US states and territories of all the big countries like Canada, Brazil, Russia, Australia, India, China, UK, etc. properly outlined. Country flags are clean, alphabetically organized and the outlines are drawn on the scratch layer. This makes it look real stylish. I’m happy you didn’t cheap out and made it large. Who needs a map on the wall where you can’t really see half of the countries because they are too small?? Overall clean minimalistic design and attention to travel-important details. You guys rock! If I could make one suggestion it would be to add some art on the protective tissue paper that wraps the poster inside the tube while packed. It would just add even more character to this piece of art and a wow effect when opening up. Well, I’m weird. This is 100% worth the money. I actually feel that I got a real deal with this product as I truly believe it is underpriced for the quality. Thank you travelization - Yev and Lana

Worth the money!

It's crazy that I found out about scratch-off maps only recently, but after quite a bit of research, this one seemed to be one of the best choices, for a few reasons - a) I wanted a map with states marked out for various countries, especially India (because that's where I'm from, and have visited the most places in), and also the US (where I currently live), and this map delivered there. b) The base material of the poster is very durable and well-laminated. I also love the gold and black combo. It does take a bit of effort getting the scratch layer off, but I like that because it means I can't accidentally scratch off something else too easily, and allows me to maintain the crisp lines between states/countries. c) The flags are a wonderful plus, and adds to the interest factor. d) It's quite big, but I am not complaining! e) The packaging it came in was wonderful and sturdy. All in all, I am glad I spent the extra money on this, because this is going to be with me for the rest of my life.

It's all about the details. The best design I've ever seen!

This world map is just awesome! The best I’ve ever seen! First of all, it is LARGE in size and that alone is a game changer. Colors are carefully selected and really bright so you can see everything from a distance. The US states as well as Canada and other big countries have their territories outlined and labelled and have different shades of chosen colors. That looks so harmonious when you scratch it! Scratching off is perfect with a penny. The paper is sturdy in a good way - it will last forever. Now, I love the flags. The flags at the bottom are evenly placed in alphabetical order, countries are labeled correctly, and generally you can tell care went into the small things. This is truly an artwork. Even the tube has been neatly designed and it is actually made of recycled craft carton. If you appreciate beautiful things, go with this scratch map.

Map is great - Corkboard sold with it is NOT

EDIT: I changed my review from 3 stars to 5 because it was not fair to the Travelization product. The map is wonderful. DO NOT buy it with the corkboard suggested by Amazon. The map can NOT be framed in that corkboard. All products are great by themselves, they just don't go well together. It would be nice for Amazon not to present them as a package. I gave the map 3 stars only because I bought it as a package (map - corkboard - tacks) and it doesn't work. The map is great, the paper is very good quality. It is thick and looks very durable. We haven't scratched out any countries yet. The cork board is also nice, by itself... it does not work with the map. The cork and the backing do not pop out. There is NO way of using this board to frame the map. I now have a corkboard that we don't need, and I will be going to my local Hobby Lobby or Michaels to buy a frame. I'm so disappointed!

Awesome Map for Memories

This map is even better than I'd hoped! It looks great up in my father's room in the care home with all the countries he's been to scratched off, and we pinned his pilgrimage walks to Santiago de Compostella and put some photos up in the oceans so he can look up and be reminded of where he's been and the fun he's had around the world.

The Travelization Scratch Off Map has been a big hit as we slowly decorate our new house. It’s the perfect size. The black and gold are bold but neutral enough to match most any decor. We noticed some of the US states are not shaped correctly if it were a flat map but it seems that the geographical shape of each area follows more of the longitudinal curves than you would normally expect on a flat map. The differences were subtle and no big deal for us. Revealing the colors beneath is so fun! We are looking forward to scratching off new places for years to come!

Just got my map in the mail! Got here fast. I couldn’t wait start scratching it off. 23 countries down and bunch more to go. Beautiful design and will look great on my wall. The goal is to have it all scratched off one day!
