I was hesitate to purchase these bulbs based on several negative reviews. I had just spent $6.00 at Home Depot for a G9 Halogen bulb, but I dropped it as I was trying to insert it and it cracked. I don't have to worry about that issue with these bulbs as they are covered. Some reviewers indicated that they did not the light of the day light bulbs, but I actually prefer it. It's much clearer. I have 4 bulbs installed now -- two of my new daylight white bulbs and two Halogen bulbs. I can't wait until the Halogen bulbs burn out. They give off a yellowish light, while these daylight bulb are much brighter. I'm using in my bathroom, so now I can actually see if my makeup looks okay without waiting to get in my car and pull down the mirror there. Would definitely purchase again!

They're basically just cheap strip LEDs in a plastic cup attached to a G9 base. Yet, they're still the best G9 LEDs I've found. I had been using utilitech LEDs from the local hardware megamart & they all cost a LOT more & burn HOT (ie THEY burn UP). You can grab these JandCase cobs with your bare hands & they put out more light, in more directions. Obviously they're not intended for any sort of color critical application. They are cheap G9 LED COBS of acceptable quality. I'm actually getting socket adapters so I can use this style instead of standard bulbs. They're compact, bright, they don't get hot, they're LEDs, they last a long time, only 5W, the manufacturing process is right where it needs to be.... there's not much to not like about these... Mine came packed with a swanky foam protector thing. so that's nice.

Perfect for my chandelier lights in my closet. The warm is WAY better than the cool blue tone, though less bright. Don’t get the cool “daylight” tone though, it’s so ugly and unpleasantly bright like a hospital emergency room. The warm is a perfect glow, way bright enough for a closet, but it won’t blind you ;)

I bought these to replace halogen bulbs in two basement ceiling fixtures in a hallway. The halogens were not only pretty yellow, but also put out a tremendous amount of heat into the light fixtures at the ceiling and I didn't like that. These were a great replacement with a true daylight white color. Not blueish. Very little heat output and 1/10 of the energy consumption.

These are great. The little box is cute. You can see from the photo that one of the original bulbs is still up. I am ordering the smallest pack of these bulbs as I can to replace the one. They're supposed to last more than a decade so stocking up seems pointless. I did have to bend the little metal bits inward on a few of these to get them plugged in, but it only took the tiniest bit of that to get them to pop in place perfectly. I included a photo of the bulbs I was replacing.

These bulbs looked a little weird and I was unsure if they were really a replacement for standard g9 bulbs. On top of that, my fixture can handle up to 60W and these were a 40W equivalent light output. Regardless, these bulbs put out a good amount of light and easily replaced my old g9 bulbs. They look nice in my bathroom and all bulbs arrived in good condition. I currently have two in place but when the last old bulb dies out ill have 3 and honestly with 2 it is definitely bright enough. I will purchase again when needed.

I thought these were terrible bulbs until my dad switched the under cabinet fixture from low to high. Now I know they're great and I'm changing my review. The second photo shows what the bulbs truly look like (and the switch with 1 bar (low), two bars (high) and zero (off). Previous review: I was looking to replace the bulbs in the under cabinet lighting fixtures in my new house because the halogen bulbs get very hot and I'm sure would change the flavor of oils and vinegars. I tried 3.5W Sylvania CFL G9, but it flickered. I tried the JandCase 5W LED G9, but it was so dim, I wasn't sure it was on until I looked under and saw that it was on, but very dim. See for yourself in the photo. In the photo, JandCase 5W LED G9 is on the left, 3.5W Sylvania CFL G9 is in the middle, and halogen on right.

My bathroom lights were all halogen bulbs that reached such a high temperature, I am surprised that they are not a fire hazard. After speaking with my electrician he told me to replace them all with a G9 LED bulb. Our local home improvement stores only carry 25 watt and so I of course searched Amazon. These bulbs were the perfect fit and only get warm to the touch, so they make me feel better from a safety perspective. They are also brighter than my old halogen bulbs which are more appropriate for bathroom lighting.

We have a light fixture in our bathroom, which uses three G9 40W bulbs and the light it produces is insufficient. So I have ordered these LEDs hoping for the best. They are rated at 5W their power consumption, but I measured only 4W. Cannot check the light output, but they seem a bit brighter than the original 40W incandescent bulbs. Maybe it is because they run on the high side of the color spectrum – 6000K. At the end of the day I have a better lighting with 10x energy savings. Not bad, right? As you can see from the picture the LED bulb is somewhat longer and thicker than the original incandescent bulb. Make sure your fixture can accept this.

I ordered these bulbs a few days ago -immediately installed them and have zero complaints! Prior to purchasing them there was one or more complaints regarding "flickering" with their bulb. My assumption is maybe there is something wrong with their fixture and not the bulb? I'm guessing but -these bulbs work very well thus far. They are bright and did the job for moi. If anyone thinks these bulbs are not bright it could be that their basing it on ONE bulb (keep in mind location too) whereas my pendant fixtures required 3 per pendant (I have 3 hanging over my breakfast bar) so I have 120 watts in each pendant an because these bulbs are sooo bright I only used 2 bulbs (80 watt) per pendant. Moral here is that EVERY situation is different. If your considering buying these lights unless someone can say they are faulty and never worked, I'm not sure I'd allow flickering or too dim to make my decision. Your fixture plays a role as well as where these lights will be used.
