Great quality, fits small spaces

This bench is exactly what I was looking for. The bamboo is really great quality and it was really easy to put together. The tools are included and the instructions are image-only. There were no strange chemical smells either, which is always a plus. This is a small bench but can hold the weight of me sitting on it with no issues (130 lbs). I wear a size 8 in shoes, and each shelf holds 3 pairs comfortably. This bench can be used for a ton of different things, from a shoe rack, to holding yoga equipment, to acting as an end table. The price, in my opinion, is a bit steep for the size (I think it should be ~$15 instead of $30) but it is reasonable compared to other prices on Amazon for the same product.

Using as shelving, not for shoes

There are at least 5 other sellers of these on Amazon, but this one was the least expensive when I ordered it. I wanted some low shelving to use to declutter my family room. Today I put the shelving together and it's perfect! I love the bamboo, it is very attractive. It was a piece of cake to put it together. The directions show drawn pictures and parts are numbered, they don't use words. I am a 76 year old woman and have put a few things together in the past, mainly shelving. The plastic storage containers I put on the shelves are all 6 inches tall or less and fit fine, but anything taller would not fit. Taller things can go on the top of course. I am very happy with these as shelving, won't but sitting on it or using it for shoes.

Best and stylish shoe storage

Love love love this bench for my shoes! It fits perfectly in the nook of my room I wanted it for and is doing a great job to keep my shoes organized and off the floor. It came with all the tools needed to put together and was really easy to build. It's very sturdy and appealing to the eye. So glad I made this purchase.

Love it!

I bought this product for my closet because I'm trying to get all my millions of shoes organized and my closet space is very limited. While this shelf doesn't offer excessive capacity for shoes, it worked exactly as I hoped. I was very pleased with how it looked (even when taking it out of the box), it was super easy to assemble, and is fulfilling its life long dream of holding my shoes! I was so happy with it that I just ordered a second one to place right next to it in my closet.

Sturdy enough for at least 180 pound adult to sit ...

Needed something to fit between two doors in the "mud room" and this fit the bill. Sturdy enough for at least 180 pound adult to sit on. I do wish the bottom was a little taller so that I could more easily slip some sandals or flip flops under it.

Small Attractive Bench

This review is for the HOMFA Natural Bamboo Shoe Rack Bench, though why anyone would want to use this as a shoe rack bench is more than I can tell. I bought the bench to use as an indoor plant stand and if fills the purpose perfectly. I can find no negatives. The item came well packed. Tools are included (however you will be happier if you have your own 10 mm wrench). The wood is nicely finished. Directions are good if not great. I used the wrong screws the first time THOUGH THIS WAS NOT THE DIRECTIONS' FAULT. The assembled bench looks attractive. For a plant stand it is sturdy but I would not sit on it myself.

Sturdy, Small Bench

I really liked that it was in the small it fit perfect in my unused space.... it especially helped me tidy up my shoes, my babies shoes, and the hubbies shoes. Read the dimensions since it is on the smaller size, but again perfect for me. It is able to carry the weight of my husband and I sitting on it. Pretty sturdy piece and no damage to the piece whatsoever. An added bonus is that it was super easy to build.

So easy to put together that I did it while sitting comfortably on my couch, watching TV, and allowing my 3-year-old to "help" me. I put all screws in loosely while seated on my couch than put it on the floor, sat in it, then tightened top screws, sat in it again, then middle, then bottom. I have no idea whether this was necessary but another reviewer suggested it and I thought it couldn't hurt. When all was done it seems sturdy and does not wobble. I'm 5'8", 135 lbs, and feel comfortable and secure sitting in it to put on my shoes. I can't say how it would hold up to long term sitting by a heavy person but to sit on for a few minutes to change shoes it seems more than strong enough. It fits my tall platform shoes and my husbands work shoes just fine. It's really quite beautiful for such an inexpensive piece and would go well with a variety of decor styles.

Great Electronics shelf too!

I can't say enough about this product. I have assembled many items over the years and this one stands out. Just while assembling it, I thought of one word...quality. I knew this wasn't going to wobble or be off balance. Assembly was too easy. It looks absolutely gorgeous underneath my TV credenza. I have my cable box on top and the DVD down below so they have plenty of room to breathe and not overheat. Love it.

Very good quality bamboo shoe rack.

Attractive bamboo shoe rack. This is a lovely shoe rack and matches well with contemporary decor. The finish is light in color and appears to be urethane. Assembly did take about at least 20 minutes because there are many nuts and bolts to attach. However, it was simple and you do not need the directions. Everything you need is included in the small plastic bag that holds the bolts. The bench is very sturdy. The middle and bottom racks each hold three pairs of size 9 shoes. You can put three more on the top rack for a total of nine. However, I am using the top rack for my printer. Bamboo grows fast and it is considered a renewable resource. This is an eco-friendly product that functions just as well as wood and it is just as attractive. Bamboo will not replace precious wood for many things but it is just fine for a shoe rack. The rack does not look cheap and the craftsmanship is actually good. It is very functional. Where wood has an advantage is in rot resistance. Bamboo will degrade faster than solid wood when it is exposed to the outdoor elements. However, unless you plan on leaving your shoe rack outside under the mercy of rain and moisture, you should not have any issues with rot. Highly recommended.
