A good screen protector with a straightforward install

This is a new brand to me, not to mention a new device (the Nintendo Switch). The instructions were good, though they were very generic and were geared towards a phone, not the Switch. I think they could have bothered to make a set devoted to the Switch. Also, they included stickers for dust removal that clearly stated "Please DON'T use this to remove dust on Nintendo Switch". If that is the case, why include the stickers at all? Especially when this is a size and shape that is quite specific to the Switch? Odd, but not worth deducting points off. I think this company would do themselves and their customers a favor by designing a kit (instructions, no unnecessary components) designed specifically for the Nintendo Switch instead of all this generic stuff. Having more components than you will use/need can lead to confusion at the worst. The good news is that if you have experience putting on phone screen protectors and are reasonably good at doing so, then this will be one of the easier installs you will ever experience. I gave all features four stars for now. I am reserving the fifth star for a month or so after I've had the protector installed to see how it holds up. There could be three more stars in the future; only time will tell.

Great Screen Protector - Nintendo Switch Must Have

My friends who have switches have regular Screen Protectors and after they saw mine, they were impressed by the quality of the Tempered Glass. Fit to Switch: Perfect fit, I have the Pokemon Let's Go Switch, but it lines up with the normal Switch as well (my friend requested my spare one after seeing the quality of mine.) Installation: [Mind you, this was my first ever screen protector installation, I normally have the electronics experts at the store do it for me] The Instructions were easy to follow: -Clean the Switch with provided wipes (one wet, one dry) -Line-up the screen protector -Peel back the protective adhesive guard (very easy to do while lining everything up) -Place it on the screen and scrub away the air bubbles with the provided cardboard scraper. *Note if you have a few air bubbles, you can scrape pretty vigorously with the cardboard card and it doesn't damage the screen (that I could see.) Also, my cardboard card was pretty dead after a few passes at the air bubbles (if the product creator wouldn't mind adding 2-3 of those little cards that would be my only recommendation* Product Registration: Quick & Simple and has a warranty (didn't read the fine print yet.) Would recommend for any Switch owner or as a gift.

So Easy To Install

I just recently installed this screen protector (despite having received it on September 9th 2018) so I cannot talk about the longevity of the product just yet. But what I can talk about is just how easy this screen protector is to install. The instructions and installation are very clear and straightforward. If you want a perfect, hassle free, bubble free, and dust free installation then you should know just like when painting 90% is prep work for a perfect job. Take your time and read the instructions first and make sure you understand the process before starting. The instructions tell you to wash your hands so make sure to wash your hands and follow the instructions. I ended up having my screen protector just slightly misaligned at first but I was able to gently and slowly pry the screen protector up and lift it completely off my Switch without any issues and realign the screen protector for a perfect install. I love how you get two screen protectors in this kit so if/when something happens to the installed screen protector you have a brand new backup waiting to be installed. For me this was a must have product along with a travel case because I just recently bought my Nintendo Switch as something to take out with me so I didn't want to chance accidentally scratching the screen, etc. In conclusion if you plan on taking your Switch with you and enjoying its portability then get yourself a good travel case and when you order your case get this easy to install screen protector kit and you will be all set to enjoy your Switch without having to worry about your screen getting scratched.

Pleasantly surprised! Couldn't be happier!

I was skeptical about buying a screen protector because I've always hated using them with my phone. Seeing other people having issues with scratching the screen of their Nintendo Switch, however, and having young children, I figured I might rather play it safe and try a screen protector again. Maybe they had gotten better since I last tried them. WOW. This is perfect! It fits exactly and the instructions that came with them are very clear about how to install it. I watched the video online, too, because I didn't want to regret applying something to my expensive new toy. I don't regret it at all. I can't tell a difference in the visual clarity whatsoever, even when playing in a bright room with a lot of natural light. I am very glad I bought these. I can't compare them to the other options that are available on Amazon, but I am very happy with this one and will recommend it to my friends. I don't even normally come write reviews online, but I felt like their effort included in the package stood out and I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. I sound like I'm being paid to write this, but I'm just a dude who doesn't want his kids to screw up my gaming device. Count me among the pleased customers!

Great protection, great quality, great price

As soon as my son opened his Nintendo Switch on Christmas morning, I immediately scoured Amazon for a tempered glass screen protector. I came across the amFilm by TechMatte screen protection dual pack and read the positive reviews. Two screen protectors for only $8, I figured I couldn't go wrong. Two days later my package arrived and I jumped at the opportunity to apply the protection to the Nintendo Switch console. I was thrilled to find the package includes all of the items needed to prepare the screen and accurately install the screen protector. Exact cut-outs lead to a perfect fit, and as with other over-priced protectors, the amFilm covers have the tabs one each side to allow for careful and precise installation. Got mine on release date just in time! Had great packaging and comes with two perfect sized glass screen protectors for your Nintendo Switch. Comes with 2 protectors, bubble remover,cleaning cloth,wet wipes and dry wipes for both screens. Super easy installation with no bubbles. Pro tip - I turned on the shower hot to steam up the room and installed this in the bathroom to avoid dust and it looks great! Simply Great! Easiest installation of a screen protector ever and I've installed a few over the years. It went on like magic. No bubbles, no dust, nothing. Remarkable. If you've ever had dust or air bubble then you know how frustrating it is to install screen protector. So here is the thing, read the instructions. Sounds like a no brainer, but my first installation with this guy went horribly wrong and it was my own fault. Since I've installed these in the past I just rushed in and it was not fun. Second time around I followed the instructions and it was so easy and perfect. Dust is not what you want so do yourself a big favor and run a hot shower with the fan off for a few minutes and then install in the bathroom. The steam pulls the dust right out of the air. Doing this makes it install easily in just a few minutes. Do not hesitate to buy!

These guys made me realize how easy all screen protectors should be.

I will be buying screen protectors from this company from now on. I ran the hot water in my shower for a minute or two to clear the air of dust as the directions instructed (EXCELLENT idea, will be doing this every time from now on), lined up the screen protector with the device (I even repositioned it 3 or 4 times, each time only roughly 1/4 of the protector was on the device so I wasn't fully removing it), put it down once it was lined up, pressed in the middle, and then the entire protecter just kind of suctioned onto the screen, no need to press it down to adhere it or anything (I did just to be sure, but it was fully adhered). There were two large bubbles (about the size of a quarter each) which were very easy to gently push out with the soft cleaning wipe and that was it. The package also came with stickers to allow you to do the hinge method of applying the protector but the instructions didn't show this method so I didn't use them, it might've helped with lining up the protector but I'm not too worried about it. My only complaint is I wish the protector had a matte finish, it's glossy (keep in mind it is no more glossy than the Switch screen itself) so in certain lighting it can be hard to see the screen. Other than that I am extremely satisfied with the product and I plan on coming back to these guys for any future screen protection needs.

Incredible product!!

Bought a Nintendo Switch for the kids for Christmas. Took the store salesman's advice and bought this screen protector. Installed it Christmas Eve, nice and easy. Three months later, the 4 year old drops the Switch down the hardwood stairs. Shortly thereafter, the teenage sibling says "uh oh!" The screen appears shattered. I'm imagining the aggravation of using the in store warranty and what that's going to be like when the teenager says "Do you think it's just the screen protector?" I'm thinking "no way" but I peel it back and to my amazement, it is! The screen protector absorbed the hard impact of the corner of the hardwood stairs and protected the screen of the Switch from damage. This product truly delivers on it's promise to protect the screen! Since it's a 2 pack, I pull out the spare, clean the screen with the provided wipes and apply the new protector. Easy peasy. I'm extremely happy with this product and as soon as I'm finished writing this review, I'm ordering another pack. The two photos I've provided show the damage that the protector absorbed and after the new protector has been applied.

Saved. My. Switch.

Theres no bottom line this morning was half asleep moving my items around and dropped it from chest height onto slate rock..I was mortified..I picked it up and saw scratches and cracks and lost my darn mind. (I've had the switch since around launch when I got this protector for it. I know its plastic but it still will scratch the hell out of your switch.) I sat down and peeled it away. It was what got scratched and dented etc, the rest of my switch is fine I'm ordering another pack right now and I am going to be more careful in the future..lol
