I will never buy packets again! We use this in so many recipes, it’s nice to have this volume! Also great to be able to vary strength of flavor and calories in dressing. Really convenient dispensers.

Everything tastes better with ranch seasoning!

I love making fresh buttermilk dressing with this seasoning mix, but I also like to mix a little in while cooking potatoes and other vegetables. This is very convenient because you don't have to open and potentially waste a whole pack. Great price, also!

Versatile Pantry Staple

This larger container saved me quite a bit of money in the long term. It's not just for ranch dressing or dip, but you can shake in chicken breading or even zucchini or eggplant breading and pan bake: One cup of Italian breadcrumbs, plus half a cup of parmesan cheese, and instead of the garlic powder I usually use, I add a scant tablespoon of Hidden Valley Original Ranch powder to that mix. Dip your thinly sliced chicken or veggies in beaten eggs with a little water, press front and back onto the breadcrumbs ( I use a paper plate here to save on clean up) and place on a lightly oiled baking pan at 375 degrees. I flip halfway through - if the chicken is thin I'd say 23 minutes - and allow the other side to brown. Yes, it's still little oil but it's healthier than frying. I also make a pasta salad with the Hidden Valley Ranch, using the dressing recipe but adding a little more powder to make the flavor stronger: 1 pound bowtie pasta cooked that I cool with a small package of frozen peas right in the colander, I add a shredded large carrot, some chopped green onions, a cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese or more if you like, and a package of cooked and chopped turkey bacon (you can use pork bacon or even chicken or shrimp). My family also likes fresh cracked pepper in this. This is a great summer lunch you can make the night before and serve next day with fruit slices. So Hidden Valley Ranch Salad dressing is not just for green salads. This is a pantry staple for me.

So much better than the packets

I love being able to sprinkle this on different foods as well as making the dip and dressing. No more half opened packets going bad because we wanted to add some flavor to burger meat.

Great taste

I made my own recipe of 1 cup cottage cheese, 1 cup sour cream and 2 tbsp of Hidden Valley Seasoning and used it as chip dip (my weakness) and I'm loving it!! I'll be trying it on other things. Hidden Valley has been a solid favorite of mine since it came into the world. Try sprinkling some of it on a baked potato...mmmmm (another weakness).

Very economical way to purchase this Ranch style mix

This is the same dry salad dressing mix you find in the grocery store packets. This is a far more economical way to purchase this product than in the individual packages. I love to use this in recipes and to make up Ranch salad dressing. I think the salad dressing mix tastes much better when made from this mix rather than the bottled variety. I use this in making Ranch style popcorn, in my favorite Taco soup, and for other favorites.

Great for chicken!

I used this as part as a seasoning on chicken wings and they were amazing. I could taste the ranch and it wasn't overpowering and no nasty after taste.

Such a better deal than those small Packets. I live in Rwanda and can’t get the same things that I did on the states. Use this especially to make ranch potatoes! So good and flavorful. A nice taste of home.

Helps a lot.

This product really delivers flavor. I made sort of a little paste with a little olive oil and spread over a whole chicken. On the outside as well as under the skin. Then roasted it with a few vegs, my husband could not believe how flavorful the dish was. Have also used a little when oven roasting potatoes. There is real flavor, not just sale. Love this product.
