WHAT A WAY TO WICK!
Today is a normal hot and steamy 94 degree day in Houston TX. Anyone who lives in here or has visited knows that this is one of the hottest places in the United States! I decided this would be the perfect day for me to test drive this product. Boy!!!! This thing over exceeded my expectations, not that they were low. I am truly impressed with how dry my hair was after 1.5 hours in the Houston heat. I will never use another headband, other that this one, for all my workout routines, riding my bike or getting my yoga on. I wish the workout clothes I had on today would have been made from the same material. Thank you for this wonderful creation and I highly recommend it!

Go ahead and order more than one.
This thing is I-lack-an-appropriate-superlative amazing. I wore it yesterday in 95+ East Texas heat with insane humidity, and I can’t praise it enough. Thin, lightweight, and supremely comfortable, it soaked up an impressive amount of perspiration in just over an hour of pushmowing my back yard. Took it off to wring it out, and I could barely squeeze anything from it and there were—I am not kidding—still several large DRY PATCHES on this impossibly thin piece of fabric. I got the olive drab, and I’m ordering another one as soon as this review is written and submitted. And one for my father. Pros: absorbency you won’t believe, extremely light material (stocking consistency, yet more stretchy), super stretchy elastic still retains its shape, and sooo comfortable. Cons: Maybe the price? Maybe the band wasn’t wide enough to flop back and make me look more like a pirate? One with a skull and crossbones on the front would look badass and also sell well with the biker crowd...just sayin’ (you’re welcome, Temple Tape 🙄). Anyway, buy one. Buy three. Buy a dozen and blink your sweat no more. You won’t be sorry.

pretty good
I have thin straight hair so this doesn't stay in place like it could if I had thicker or more textured hair. It is nice over all. Not tight, seems to do the job of keeping sweat out of my face. If I didn't have to adjust it a few times during my work out it'd be great. If have tried other head bands. Many that do stay in place are actually way too tight and cause a headache. This headband is light weight and doesn't put pressure on my head. *edit 1-13-18 I have given the head band a few more tries. I find I'm liking it more and more. Sometimes it still feels like I need to adjust it,but over all it has beat my original expectations. I still think thicker hair will help or curlier hair, but it has worked well for me. Some of it might just be in my mind as I'm so used to having to adjust most every other head band I've ever used. I recommend this to others. It really keeps the sweat out if your eyes.

Absorbs the sweat...
I purchased two of these for my husband. He has a shaved head and sweats during his HIIT cardio workouts. The band really absorbs the sweat from his workouts and leaves me less to clean. The coverage works well since he has no hair and definitely lives up to it's expectations.

5 Star Band
Excellent product. I ride at least 100+ miles a week in the Dallas heat and this Temple Tape ultra light band is great and somehow keeps sweat from dripping in my eyes, even on long 60+ mile rides. Wicks great and if you soak it in water it does a good job of cooling as well. Bought one, liked it so much I bought a second one, so I always have a clean one ready to go. Now won't ride without it.

Perfect for bald guys
If you're bald, you realize how much your previous hair absorbed sweat, because without it, you're left with sweat pouring down your head. I have never really seen a headband/bandanna that I felt looked good and would function the way I thought. After seeing this online, I thought I'd give it a try, because it is an extremely fair price. After my first run, down here in SW Florida, I immediately had to go and take my daughter to school. I forgot to take this headband off and as I drove home from dropping her off, I was able to get two full squeezes of my sweat out of my window. It absorbed way more sweat than I could have imagined, and didn't feel soaking wet or heavy post workout. So far, I love this product. The material is great and does what it's intended to do. I've even worn it under my straw hat as I mow the lawn and it still worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

Absorbent, comfortable, inexpensive, and stays in place: the perfect headband.
I've been through a lot of headbands over the last few decades: for me they mostly have been for use during outdoor musical performances, and also for general fitness. This is the best headband I have ever owned, and it's worth every bit of the $8 I paid. I recently started playing VR boxing, and my old 2" terry headbands were not cutting it; the HMD was always soaked by the end of a session. I had my reservations about a headband as thin as this one, but not only did Temple Tape enable me to be more comfortable with the HMD on, but the HMD stayed totally dry after 1hr of boxing (I was definitely sweating), and I never had a single drop of sweat in my eyes. I continued to wear this band through weight training, and was impressed by the results; it kept me dry, and stayed in-place. If I decide to step out into the sun: the thin material of this headband will enable me to comfortably wear a fitted hat over it. I'll never go back to old-school terry headbands after Temple Tape.

Finally!!!!!!! A Perfect head band.
I have purchased a dozen highly reviewed head bands from narrow, to wide, to bandannas, to open ended synthetic sock looking headbands. For me all those 5 star head bands sucked. I'm a guy who wants his hair out of his eyes when working over and looking down something like an engine, doing activities like kettlebell or yoga or just simply walking or cleaning the house without out having my hair pop our of a pony tail and get in the way of my vision. The shape of my head also angles inward (I'm not a pin head; haha) but bands tend to slip upward on me over time. Growing up in the 70's my mom would not let me grow my hair long, once I got my MBA, well, you know that story,, no long beards and short hair.... Now that I have retired at age 48, now 53, I have left the constraints of corporate life, and have a long beard and long hair. Thank God! So cutting it short is not an option. This headband is perfect. On windy days, jogging or cycling, yoga, or kettlebell, wrenching over my diesel truck's engine, you name it, this band keeps the hair in place, stays in place, is not hot even on hot days, and is thin to ware a cycling helmet over it. It washes well. I just wish I bought four. So when I am done with this review, I am going to order another two... The design in how this is gathered in the back and spreads out in front is ideal to stay in place and hold all the hair out of your face. This is the one to get. I have purchased Chil-Its which are the absolute worst, HALO is way too frigging small and hot, Under Armour and Nike are not designed well and slip off and get itchy, and PrAna which is very very good, but slip just a nudge hence not as good as this design.

Works extremely well. Keeps sweat out of your eyes and floor!
I never used to sweat when I was younger - to the point where it was probably dangerous. Well, fast-forward to my 35-year-old self taking a kickboxing class where I was more embarrassed by my dripping sweat than paying attention to my workout. 😬 Yikes, and gross. For my second class, I wore this. Man! No dripping, and I wasn’t sweating any less, I hate to say. This thing was soaked at the end of the hour. I read another review where someone said they wrung out the sweat. They weren’t wrong. I did it to gross my friends out. I’m going to order a lot more of these. I’m so impressed! Didn’t make me extra hot and stayed in place the whole time. A little boring in design, and I looked like I was wearing a hijab from the front, but it was so worth it.

I really love this workout product
I really love this workout product. I shave my head bald so I sweat a great deal from my head. The Temple Tape doesn't soak through my one hour high intensity workouts at OTF. I would like to see a few more colors or sports team themes. But I am really pleased with this product and highly recommend.
