  • Online access to USNO-B1 catalog with 1 billion stars

Great way to explore the universe. Easy to use with lots of information on the stars and planets. I just wish they would update the graphics on some of the planets like Pluto They have it as a fuzzy ball with no detail otherwise I love the software.

Impressive; smooth operations, including the USNO-B1 extended star catalog. The activation process was a bit glitchy, it took a few times for some reason. Also, the menus could be a bit better, (more of them), still remains one of the best astronomy programs available. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

Maybe this software doesn't deserve a FULL five stars but close enough. It is super handy to help identify those stars and planets you can't name. It's amazing the amount of information this program contains. I do, however, have two minor gripes. When you launch the program it assumes you're facing north. I would like the view to face where I set it. Secondly, the program has a selection of skylines. I would like to be able to set the skyline once and have it remain the same every time I launch it until I change it again. It's a great informative and educational toy. I'd rather mess around with Redshift than read books on astronomy, although I do both.

I've had a few Redshifts over the years. This one is so intuitive and easy to use
