I received my cable pretty quick. The packaging looked legit and the cable seemed really high quality. More than I expected for what I paid. Upon further inspection the male end of the cable was loose and caused some connection and interference issues. Because of the price and it was basically doing job I needed it for I just accepted it. The next day I get a personal email from Kinps customer service asking me about the cable etc. I was honest and told her Kinps seems like a company that doesn’t accept subpar, however I seemed to received a bad example of that. I wasn’t thinking about a refund or exchange, but the very next email I received was the tracking number for my replacement. The same week I received in the same quality packaging another cable. This time it was flawless. After sometime of abuse I can surely recommend Kinps for there excellent quality and superb customer service

At work, I sometimes have to sit at my desk and use headphones to complete online training, or to do research that requires watching online video content. The little 3' cable my headphones came with doesn't reach my PC. I bought the Knips cable to extend the short reach of my stock headphone cable--and it works perfectly. The nylon cable feels durable, and fitment of the connections at both ends is snug. I can't find any drawbacks and would recommend buying this cable.

I wouldn't normally write a review for a 3.5mm extender. However I wanted to write this one because this cord is awesome! Many braided cords tend to keep bends and kinks in them because the material is tight and hard to bend. This cable stays straight even after being wound up in the package for who knows how long. It feels very sturdy and has great cool to the touch metal connectors with what looks like a gold plated input and output connectors. No negatives to find. Its a great cord and I would recommend it to anyone!

Ok, I got this cord for what its probably an unusual purpose but here goes. I like using electric sweater shavers to prolong the life of my knit items. I like doing this while watching tv. However, I was having to turn the tv way up to go over the noise of the shavers, which was bothersome to others and didnt always work well if the audio was funky on a certain show on the streaming service I use. So I got this so I could use my headphones after unsuccessfully trying bluetooth ones (there was too much interference from all the various electronics we have). Made sure to get one long enough to go from the tv to where I sit. Alas, it worked out great. The fit is snug on both ends. No problems with sound quality other than user error (I hadnt popped the cords all the way together so check that first if you're having an issue). The covering on the cord seems very durable, it doesnt get tangled and I'm able to easily wrap it up to store when not in use.

These are nicely flexible without being floppy, and I love the braided sheathing. The picture made it appear that the sheath might be a solid piece of plastic with a printed pattern, but that is not the case: it's cloth-like. It's braided and it's nice. They do not appear to diminish sound quality at all - that is to say they do what they should without taking away something in the process. Yes, they are "just" extension cables, but sometimes you don't quite get what you expect out of a product. In short, I was not surprised. Which is to say I was surprised that I wasn't surprised by a lack of quality stemming from the use of an extension cable. Just, go buy these and find out.

Wow - this is what I've been missing. I'm hard of hearing so I had to constantly increase the volume on my pc desktop speakers and others in the room would go nuts. I bought this and plugged into inexpensive over the ear headphones. The volume was amazing and made the headphones so much clearer (I could understand all the words without too much bass). I literally had to reduce the volume on my computer by 60%. These Phillips over the ear headphones only cost apx $7 - https://www.amazon.com/Philips-SHS3200PK-37-Flexible-Headphones/dp/B00JXLGDQ2/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1506972462&sr=8-6&keywords=phillips+headphones+over+ear

At my computer workstation, my monitor, keyboard and speakers are in front of me, but the computer is a few feet away on the floor. Therefore, I need to extend all the cables from the computer to my work desk, including the audio cable for the speakers. To make it a bit more complex, I alternate between using headphones and listening to the speakers, so I frequently unplug the speakers and plug in the headphones, and vice versa. The frequent plugging and unplugging has caused a couple of cables to fail over time, and I'm hoping that this Kinps 3.5mm extension cable will be at least as durable as those cheaper cables -- if not more durable. My photo shows the various connectors on my desk. That said, I've had this Kinps cable only for a few weeks, so it's hard to rate its durability. It seems really well built, and I like the flexibility of its cloth jacket. The connectors at each end seem to be good and strong, so that reinforces my expectation that the cable will be durable. Sound quality with this Kinps 3.5mm extension cable is excellent, with no static or break-up. Music (which is mostly what I listen to), is clear and distortion-free. At 6-feet long, the Kinps 3.5mm extension cable is just the right length for my application. So far, this Kinps 3.5mm extension cable is working just the way it should for me. It looks and feels like a quality product, so I hope to get several years' use from it.

I occasionally watch webinars at work and use headphones - not a pleasant experience because I had to sit leaning towards my monitor so the headphones wouldn't pull off my ears or out of the port. I ordered this extension cable and was surprised to see that it had a braided covering - it had looked like a printed cable in the pictures. The cable is a great length and I haven't had any issues with the sound.

I used to have to get up every time I had to plug in headphones because I could not see the jack on my floor CPU from where I sat at the monitor desk. With this handy adapter, I can plug in and out effortlessly. Saves time and also saves damage on the CPU jack input because it only has to be plugged in there once. I'd much rather replace this adapter than have my headphone jack on the CPU get ruined.

Update 3/5/19 - due to the issues explained in my original review, I packed this away never intending to use it again. However I was in desperate need of an extension to my ear bud cord, if I had to hold it the entire time, so be it. To my surprise I was able to totally connect them with just an extra push and they stayed connected and word perfectly. So I’m changing my review to 5 stars and giving an apology to the seller for the bad review. Original review - Got this to use with my computer that does not have Bluetooth and is too far from the desk for comfort. I work from home and need earphones for meetings and classes. First time I used it with my apple ear buds, didn't fit correctly, I'm guessing that's why the sound was scratchy and cutting in and out by the end of the meeting the ear bud connector would not even stay plugged into the extender.
