Great Globe

Surprised at how hard it is to find a good globe at brick and mortar stores now, so pleased that I was able to find this online. Pretty decent quality with a wood pass and metal arm. Bought this for my daughter for the purpose of sticking pins into the places she has been. The globe itself is a thick and hard cardboard, so a little challenging to stick a pin through, but still possible with enough patience and pressure (and enough pins to account for the ones you bend trying to push them in). Easy to read labels, terrain relief, and coloration to indicate separate nations will be helpful for my daughter to become familiar with geography.

Great not terribly expensive globe

Great not terribly expensive globe. Of course there are quibbles, particularly with some of the topo but one can't expect to use a globe to identify smaller mountain ranges etc. Accurate and as complete as I've seen. Like the US State capitals. Our 9 year old uses it almost every day since it is on the counter in the kitchen. A friend visiting from Africa's home was easy to show.

Nice globe especially for school age

This is a very nice globe. My granddaughters’ dad is from Trinidad and so that is the first thing they wanted to find. It was there even though it is a tiny island in the Caribbean! Nice for school age children. I actually enjoy looking at it. Shipped quickly and very well-packaged. Thank you for a quality product.

Just like school

My granddaughter, who is in third grade, wantsa globe for Christmas this year. She said it had to be like the one in school. Having been a teacher, I knew exactly what she meant. There were some cheaper globes out there, but this one has some relief on it. I am very happy with this product, and hope she will be pleased on Christmas morning too!

A big Christmas hit

After reviewing several globes that seemed to be rather cheaply made, I remembered that I went to High School with Pete Replogle, and that his family was in the globe business!!! Checked this brand out, ordered three of them and they were excellent quality and an instant hit with the young boys and their fathers...will be enjoyed for many years. I heartily endorse these globes..........

Happy to give as a gift

I briefly pulled the globe out of it's packaging and have not fully unwrapped it. It's a Christmas gift. It looked like a lovely globe. I checked its wooden stand. Nice. I'm pleased to give it to my son, who asked for one. I hope he's happy with it. I think he will be.

Nicer than I had expected

I mistakenly gave away a previous globe, when I had to move. Later, I missed it so ordered this one from Amazon. Definitely a step up from the one I gave away!

Bought for my 14 year old grandson !

This was bought as a gift so I have not taken it out of the box because it came very well packaged. I could see the top of the globe and saw how nicely the elevations were raised and that the color is bright and looks nice. I think my 14 year old will love it ! Update : The whole family is using this globe and have it in the family room for use ! The globe was fairly priced and is a nice product !
