As others have said this is definitely a developer-targeted device. Knowledge of how to sideload apps is definitely a must (but it's pretty easy, the device is not locked down). I've found the glasses to be stable and battery performance as expected. The processor is Intel x86 so you can even install Wine and run a limited selection of Windows programs on it! The handheld controller is easy to use but for actual work a USB-OTG or Bluetooth mouse and keyboard is definitely a must (but they're a dime a dozen on Amazon). Was able to play Mupen64 on it using an attached USB gamepad, pretty awesome.

I've used this for a day and really like it.Compared to VR these AR specs have much more real world functionality than VR can ever have. I love that this is running android 5.1.1 under the hood. Note that you will not get the google play store out of the box. I was able to install apps via apks though. Also make sure you have a bluetooth keyboard available!

Excellent, outstanding quality
