This Moto Boom 2+ has worked great for me thus far. I've owned many Moto flip style ear pieces and they always have great clarity and sound. Very convenient to use the flip to answer and end calls. I use the in-ear gel and no fitment issues and does stay in my hear for lengthy calls. It pairs great with my Sony Xperia Z3 and XZ1 Compact phones as well as an Iphone 6s. I would definitely buy this again, and from the same seller.

The Best Bluetooth Phone Earpiece I Have Ever Owned

I have always loved the Motorola Flip earphones because of the ability to turn them on or off by opening and closing the boom. This helps tremendously in maintaining the battery and it's a great convenience instead of having the earpiece in my ear all day, which can irritate my ear. I keep it in my pocket and when a call comes in, I flip it open and by the time I put it to my ear, it turns on, connects to the phone, and I'm ready to start the conversation. The reason it's not the absolute best sound quality is because the silicone ear adapter I use/like sits ON the ear instead of IN the ear, so it's not as loud as it could be. It comes with another silicone ear adapter that sits IN the ear and provides much better sound isolation, but the adapter has a hook for behind the ear that irritates my ear. The max battery life on these is 6 hours and it tells you how much battery life you have left each time you turn it on. It can do NFC pairing and will pair with up to 2 devices. I have had this unit for one-and-a-half years and it's still going strong and it's always in my pocket. I would not hesitate to replace it with another identical unit if mine were lost or damaged. I almost went into a panic recently when I thought I lost it. This and other Motorola Booms are the only Bluetooth ear headsets that I have ever owned.

Great Headphone but be careful with it.

This is the best telephone headset I can find. I have had similar ones like the Motorola HX550 that were just as good but are no longer available for sale. They are so comfortable you forget you have them on and they sound great. After reading so many reviews about the boom breaking I was very careful not to let it snap open or closed but always hold it securely and open and close it slowly. Because I take this care I have not had a problem with it breaking but just looking at it you can see there is a severe design flaw in this regard. It does not lie flat but comes to an abrupt stop when hitting body in a leveraged position. Though I gave it 5 Stars it is only because I take extra care to not let it break, if I used it as comes natural it would certainly break very soon and would not even be worth 1 Star.

Loud and Clear

I was very worried when i first bought this after reading the reviews of how it breaks for others, so i bought the warranty to go with this. My over impression so far is OUTSTANDING. The quality is nice, its very loud and clear. Compared to other brands this one has excelled greatly As for the quality of the product it was fell out of my pocket and ended up staying outside for several days. It still works great with no problems. Im very happy with my purchase (purchased on Feb / 2018 ) i will update my review in a few months to let everyone know As someone who is constantly on the go or doing something this earpiece is great for me.

perfect sound

This is my third one. Not because they break but because I have lost one and the other went through the washing machine. I tried others in between but always go back to this one. By far the best blue tooth ear bud. Its small and comfortable. The battery life is great, I can go for two full days of phone calls on a charge and I also use it for music while shopping etc. The sound on my end is perfect and people on the other end have said that they cant even tell that I'm on blue tooth.

Always Works - Never Fails

I have a aging Blackberry Z10 that I can't depart with. I sell rural real estate and it reaches the signal towers better. But after seven years, the speaker is worn out and the microphone never was star quality. It doesn't have to be with this Bluetooth. My fifth one for this phone, the Boom2 gives me exactly what I want and need. Hands-free phone calling, phone-text-and maps commands. Sound adjustment and noise cancelling on the road. May sound boring, but something that always works and never fails is easy to take for granted. Thank you Motorola for not having to worry about the quality of my business calls.

Complete packaging

Love the product itself. The sound quality as well as the battery life is great. However, my package was not complete per the description as advertised. I am missing the in-ear gel that can combine with the over-ear hook. This is disappointing. I've bought this product before from an outside source and the packaging was complete. Hopefully this is something that can be resolved.

Love my Boom 2!

I can't comment on the longevity, but I was very concerned about buying this after reading all the reviews about the flip boom breaking quickly after purchase. Mine is going strong, albeit I store it inside a hard case inside my backpack. As far as call quality and ease of use, this appears identical to the original Boom I purchased many years ago, which worked flawlessly 100% of the time. I'll edit my review if something changes.

Went Through the Washer: Still Works

I checked everywhere. Under the car seat. Next to the car. Couch cushions. Pockets 3 times. I found it in the bottom of my washing machine. After washing. I put it on a sunny window sill for three days. It still works. Perfectly! Note this was the regular Boom 2, not the advertised-as-waterproof Boom 2+. (Amazon seems to mix the reviews for those two.) I am blown away and thrilled. This Bluetooth has ample volume to use in a noisy van and is more comfortable than many other I have seen advertised with much better overall reviews. Now if I could just figure out how the find function software is supposed to work.

One of the best headsets for the price

I've been using the Motorola boom now for about a month and couldn't be happier. I bought this headset to replace an earlier model I had for 3 years. I like that it has both in-ear and over the ear option. The in-ear gel ear piece is so comfortable you forget you are even wearing it. Sound is crystal clear even in my noisy Saturn vue. Has all the features I need including mute.
