Nice product. It is thicker then I thought it would be. It took a little bit of tome to get it flat since it comes rolled in a box, but it is working great now.

Only issue I had is it came rolled up and had to find something to sit on it to make it flat for a couple of days. After that works great for me.

Great chair mat for the price. As others say it did come rolled up and was quite stiff. I used a heat gun to flatten it out in about 15 min. I found it works best to use the heat gun on the back side of the mat. Waving the heat gun over the material it naturally flattened out and now it looks good. It is a little softer than I thought it would be. The chair wheels do slightly sink in but I like it as it keeps my chair from rolling around too much.

Man, this is like a mat for chairs! So you’re sitting there on your hardwood floor and you’re thinking “Man, I wish I had a something to cover my beautiful hardwood floor with.” Well folks, look no further, this is what your hardwood floor has been dreaming of. It’s a one-piece item so don’t worry about assembling it upon opening it. You get it, unbox it, and BAM! It’s on your floor. I rolled around on it for a few minutes just to iron out the roll in it so I could get maximum coverage for all my needs. Sure, you’re going to sit in a chair for a few hours browsing Amazon, but hey, at the end you’re going to pat yourself on the back for getting one of these. So far, zero scratches on my hardwood floor, zero regrets. It’s time for you to do the same. What say you?

Laid it out in the sun for one day and it lays perfectly flat, great mat

My home office is in our finished basement, which has a linoleum floor. After a few years of wheeling back and forth in front of the desk I noticed a wear pattern developing. This mat is a lot cheaper than replacing the flooring. It comes rolled in a plain cardboard box, and is a bit stiff at first. I remedied that by putting a towel on top of it and pressing it flat with an iron on a low setting. The mat flattened out within a couple minutes and has been under my chair for a couple months now with no problems. It's also plenty big, so my desk chair's casters don't roll off the edge. This was also the least expensive mat I could find, so I'm doubly happy with its value and performance.

The only drawback was they shipped it rolled up so I had to try to unroll it without poking myself and then put chairs on it over a weekend to hold it down. Now that it's flat, it's perfect.

I unrolled it the opposite way then laid it flat with a couple of boxes of green beans on one side and ammo cans on the other for 15 minutes and it flattened out except one corner , but i will remedy that. I can slide the chair 6 inches to the left or right before hitting the rug wich will do and i have a big and tall chair.

Another reviewer saved me from endless frustration. This item arrives in a very tight coil and is as hard as a Ken doll's abs. You will not be able to lay it flat. There is a solution! It needs heat. Get a hairdryer and a couple weights (I used chairs). As the heat relaxes the plastic, you can slowly unravel the plastic and it will lie flat with no problems or curling. The chairmat will retain it's shape as it cools. The plastic is thick enough to protect my carpet and durable. You just got to finesse it.

Excellent value. I read a lot of reviews on this product. Many were negative because people found the mat difficult to unroll. It's nearly summer here, and I simply tossed the thing on my deck in the 80 degree sun for a few hours to heat it though. The thing unrolled without incident and was under my chair in minutes ... fully flat. Take heed. If you're in colder seasons, that's another show. It is stiff right out of the box.
