Fantastic crucibles
I have bought the #8,#6,and #4 from this company and I am totally satisfied with their products. Each one has the pouring spout made into the crucible. These have lasted a long time in my aluminum foundry. I will buy from them again. If your starting out with a aluminum foundry and this is your first purchase, I would recommend the #6 for aluminum which is the middle one in my picture. The 4 is to the left and the 8 is to the right.

Great products but you need to know
This crucible is exactly as i expected, ive seen a few reviews that mention cracking or leaking and id like to take a minute to help a few people out. Two things, first and foremost graphite crucibles are very susceptible to thermal shock. Second you should use a borax solution on it the moment you get it. The borax makes a very thin layer of a glass like material that will help stop liquid metals from leaking and will give it a mild "self healing" if a crack does appear.

Quality product and fanstastic customer service
I received my crucible in a timely manor as promised. When i first used it it cracked and broke. I was under the impression it did not need to be pre heated so i put it directly in the smelter. When i let them know this they immeditely offered to send me another. I received the second one in just 3 days. This time it had a notice on the box to preheat at 400 degrees for an hour. I did this and just got done with my first fire and it worked perfectly it looks like i will get several fires from this crucible. I will absolutely use them again they have quality products and stand behind them without hesitation.

Don’t worry about the bad reviews!!!!!!!
I read some of the bad reviews on the product after I had bought it. I had worried about it till I used it. I heated it in my foundry till it glowed then let it cool on its own. I then heated it up again and started melting cans, a whole bag of cans. I had room for at least 15 bags of cans. It was fun and I will buy again.

Very good quality. Heats up evenly. Great for aluminum.
This crucible is just the right size for a homemade foundry. We've been able to do dozens of aluminum melts using charcoal with no undue wear on the crucible. It looks like it will hold up for a good while.

Lasts far longer then my 4kg crucibles!
I melt copper into aluminum bronze with this. i've put it through a lot of stress with propane blasting almost directly at it. it has gone through several sessions and has almost doubled the lifespan my 4kg crucibles were lasting. plus the pouring spout has come in handy several times. i will be purchasing again when it does eventually break!

Seems to be durable
I went through the 'curing' process before using this. Since then I have used it several times and it hasn't broke or chipped. I think I will get long life out of it. I've only used it for melting aluminum but see no reason you couldn't use it for most other soft metals as well (i.e. brass, copper, bronze). Size was good for my needs which it's on you to make sure of the size you need. When this one is wore out I'll probably buy this one again.

Backyard Foundry
I purchased this as a recommendation from the King of Random video, with his backyard foundry. The foundry turned out great! I am extremely pleased with the crucible as it held the liquid and I never had issues with it cracking. This is an essential part of my foundry and I would definitely purchase this again. Great price for what you get.

Good and Heavy.
This is a stout Crucible. Purchased for some Aluminum melt projects but gave it it's Maiden Voyage meltng copper. Much eavier loaded with Copper than I realized so have to finish my liftung Tongs. Took the heat fine with no issues and it was nice seeing it glowing orange coming out of the furnace.
