A well designed quality product that works as advertised

I purchased the Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier for Small Rooms from Amazon. We moved from a humid climate (Virginia) to a dry climate (southern Utah). With the dry desert air came some sinus problems for me. Always a stuffy nose, hard to sleep, and allergies. After a few years of putting up with this and going on vacation to a humid climate and having the symptoms go away, I decided to try a small humidifier on my nightstand. It has only been a few nights and what a difference it makes. The Pure unit is just the right size, lasts through the night, and is extremely quiet. This was a great purchase and I am very happy with the product. Additional comment: The unit continues to work wonders. I actually received a phone call from Pure just to follow up and make sure I was happy with the product. That is impressive customer service and it is appreciated. They have won my loyalty for products in the future.

Size isn’t everything. This packs a full-size punch!

I was upset that my Prime shipping was delayed because the product was out of stock when it came time to ship - HOWEVER - this little guy was worth the wait! Here in NY, our winters can be rough. It’s not about snow - it’s about a lack of humidity. Our apartment complex cranks the heat up so high that our hair sticks to the pillow from static. I’ve shocked myself on the phone on the tile floor (forget the carpet! That’d fry it!) I open the windows to cool it down, but that’s letting in cold dry air, so the static gets worse. We’ve all had an annoying dry cough since autumn when they activated the heat. So to say it’s DRY in our place, is mild. It’s far beyond dry. We LOVE this pure humidifier. Already! It’s small, which is great. Who has room for the big clunky style of the 1980’s? As you can see in the photos, it’s just slightly taller than a 16.9 oz water bottle. (It only takes 1 to get through the night, but when we plan to run it at full blast, we’ll need 2.) The one flaw is that the power/mode button is a touch/tap, so I’ve accidentally turned it on while trying to get a full tank back into the base. But that’s really not a con. Just a little annoying. The photos I included are on the LOW setting. The soft blue nightlight is perfect so the kids aren’t kept up from brightness. The moist air comes out in a beautiful light mist. Absolutely no dampness or heaviness in the room or on the furniture, and it doesn’t even dampen the books we have stored under the open night stand. Since it’s cold mist and we don’t have to worry about burns, the kids enjoy playing with the air as it comes billowing out (like a volcano!) I wouldn’t encourage this with small children, as electricity, water, and small children don’t mix well, but mine are 9 and 12 so it’s fine for them. Though the unit is ultrasonic, don’t assume it’s silent. It makes a lot of bubbling and gurgling noises (but sounds like a fish tank bubbler, so it’s relaxing.) It’s obvious from the start, that cleaning won’t be an issue. If you let water sit in the base, it could grow mold, so let the unit run dry. It will auto-shutoff when the base is fully empty. We’ve had it running 2 nights now. All of our coughs are gone. We needed this thing months ago!!! I only knew it existed because of a daily deal. Otherwise I would’ve missed this little gem. I give it 5 stars. 1. It arrived in great packaging (albeit late,) boxed with instructions and a cleaning brush. 2. It’s super easy to assemble. Just click the water tank into the base, and plug in the included power cord. 3. It has auto-shutoff detection for when it’s empty. 4. It has very current features. A touch-screen-style tap-area (button) that you just gently tap (with different modes to choose from, soft night light, a relaxing bubbling sound, requires very little cleaning, and fits well on a side table thanks to its small size. 5. Helped get rid of our static electricity and health issues IMMEDIATELY! Stop reading this and put it in your cart!

After trashing many humidifiers every year. This product is found to be easy to use and clean.

So far, I've gone through 9 humidifiers in the past 3 years. 7 were purchased on Amazon, 2 from local stores. I even had purchased a humidifier that comes with some kind of silver ion that is suppose to keep it clean. I trashed it after about a week of use. It was one of the worst ones I've had. It grew Serratia marcescens (pink bacteria...mold??) all over the white tank unit. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075J8JL5Q/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Even with this humidifier I am reviewing started growing started growing those pink mold after about a week and half of use. However, this one is actually very easy to clean. It is small and most part is easily reachable with a cleaning brush. For the tank, I think I need to use distilled vinegar, but the other area where it is soaked in the water is really easy to clean. It is also very light and small that I can just clean it from a bathroom sink.

Just what the Doctor ordered!

Love this product. It is attractive and kinda looks like a pretty mountain erupting! It has really helped us put some moisture back in the air. A soft gentle night lite too. Very quiet.

Great Product & Customer Service

In January 2017, I purchased your humidifier as a replacement for another brand humidifier. I had no expectations but I was pleasantly surprised how effectively it met my needs. It was easy to clean so I could use it daily. No vinegar was required. Plus, it really helped me with my respiratory condition. I can breathe more easily now and use less meds as a result. I like how streamlined the unit is. It fits easily on my nightstand and on my desk. Also, I like the gentle sounds the unit makes. It lulls me to sleep with it’s white noise- water feature. The setting with the night light is also soothing. Sometimes, it is reassuring to see the blue light at night. Last month, I dropped my unit and cracked the water tank. Thanks so much for your willingness to replace it. I didn’t expect that type of service but your customer service reps bent over backwards to get me a replacement unit. Coincidentally, the day I dropped my tank is the day I recommended your product to a coworker. She purchased it immediately from Amazon. At the time, I had an option to purchase a different unit but I repurchased the Pur humidifier even though it had increased in price. It was when I opened my new packaged unit that I learned about your warranty service. I was so happy and reached out to purchase a replacement water tank, but as discussed above, you sent me an entirely new unit. Now I will have 2 units - one earmarked for my office and one for my bedroom. Thanks again for everything. Happy Customer.

Perfect size!

This humidifier will be great in my baby's nursery. It's compact size won't take up much room. It emits a sound similar to white noise- great for falling asleep. I also like the blue night light feature- very relaxing. Refilling the tank fits under my small bathroom faucet. The tank lasted me at least the 10 hrs it promises. I would definitely buy another.

Minimal cleaning is a plus

I purchased this humidifier for my son's small room. We have had a few humidifiers before this one, and this one is my favorite. What I love the most about this one is how easy it is to clean. It uses the water up in one night. I simply let it air dry during the day and fill it up again at bedtime. About once or twice a week, I check it for mildew and odor. Even if there isn't any, I do a vinegar wash. I have another larger humidifier in another room that gets smelly, turns pink, etc. in about three days. At first, I was skeptical because of the small size. Now, I realize that there is a definite advantage to this. I do recommend this humidifier for small rooms. I've also followed the advice of another reviewer and use tap water (the claim was that there was chlorine in the water, which kept it cleaner). I use tap water in this humidifier and my large humidifier. There aren't any white flakes. The other humidifier still gets mildew, but this one stays clean.

I have been very satisfied with your pure humidifier in last 6 months

I bought another one from Amazon before this one but I had to return it because it stopped working after only few weeks of use, so I decided to wait long enough to give my opinion on this one. I have been very satisfied with this humidifier in last 6 months. It's very quiet, so quiet that you can't even hear anything, and I particularly like that I can choose to have the light on or off.

Five Stars

My favorite thing about this little humidifier is that it can be used WITHOUT the obnoxious blue light. Even the power button goes dark after a few seconds. Other pros: it's small, virtually silent, and it has high and low settings. Seems to be doing its job so far! I no longer wake up with the urge to chug five glasses of water. Five Stars - would definitely recommend.

Works well! But can I get it on the cruise ship?

I bought this because the dry cabin air on a cruise ship frequently results in waking up multiple times in the middle of night to drink water to avoid a sore throat. So I bought this. Now I'm just hoping it's allowed on board!!! I filled it and plugged it in as per directions. The mist started flowing immediately. The on/off button is very easy to use - a very light touch is all it needs. Just be sure to read the directions as there is an "off" position as well as 4 "on" possibilities.
