I'm so extremely pleased with the way this turned out. I have 2 of these dresses and just wanted to brighten up my room. I started with a primer (Zinsser B-I-N primer in white, water based) and then one coat of the chalk paint (linen white chalk paint by Rustoleum). I used a brush (Brossum 2 in 1 rounds chalk paint brush) on the dresser and foam rollers (FoamPRI 65-5 mini roller refills) on the drawers. I am MUCH happier with the foam roller look than the brush. I see the brush strokes on the dresser, not visible from a distance though. I also used a polycrylic (Varanthane ultimate polyurethane, water based, crystal clear in satin) on the drawers and wax (Retique It furniture in clear) on the dresser. I like the polycrylic look and feel much better and plan on re-doing just the top of the dressers with that. I finished it off by drilling holes and installing new handles (AmazonBasics Thick Modern Curved Handle Cabinet Handle, 6.5" Length (5" Hole Center), Satin Nickel, 10-Pack) and the crystal knobs (ANJUU 12 Pcs 30mm Silver Plated Base Diamond Shape Crystal Glass Cabinet Knobs with Screws Drawer Knob Pull Handle Used for Kitchen, Dresser, Door, Cupboard (Azure)) For my very first chalk paint experience, I'm very happy with the results.

This little piece of plastic is amazing. I recently remodeled our master bathroom pretty much all by myself. I did it by reading tutorials and watching YouTube videos. I have exactly zero experience with this type of thing, and I'm not naturally handy or crafty. One of the things that intimidated me the most was drilling holes into the solid oak vanity in order to install hardware. There was no hardware before, and I was so afraid I'd mess it up. I didn't mess it up though, and the knobs are on centered and even. I'm going to tackle the (also hardware free) kitchen cabinets next!

The product worked well, especially in conjunction with the suggestions posted in the reviews. The cabinet template worked perfectly for me, but I did have to drill my own holes in the drawer one. Thanks to the reviewers who suggested that. The included drill bit was very helpful for me. I'm a newly divorced mom fixing up a home, and I wanted to do the cabinet hardware myself to save some money (and self-sufficiency!!). I was pretty worried that I'd knick up my newly painted cabinets or end up with super crooked hardware, but this product made it easy! I did end up breaking the drill bit after I was three quarters of the way done, but it's entirely possible that that was user error more than a quality indicator. It at least took the guess work out of finding the right size of bit to replace it. Saved me at least $100 in labor, if not more!

These worked great for installing the pulls on my newly painted cabinets. The pulls add class to the look of the cabinets. These are the pulls I bought. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N677M0J/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I marked the holes on the template that I was using with a black marker. This made it impossible for me to accidentally drill the wrong hole. The supplied drill bit has tiny spike at the tip that make it easy to start the hole without the a center punch. I used a piece of wood on the exit sides of the drawers and cabinets to minimize shredding as the bit came through the wood. I made one error where the hole was in the wrong place. Can't figure out how I messed it up? duh

I purchased these to install some cabinet handles. This product was sooo helpful. The project probably would have taken longer without this template. It's just a little plastic template with holes which allow you to mark you drill spots on the cabinets. It has a little notch in the middle of the template so you can line the notch up with the center of the cabinet drawer. The template for the cabinet has a piece of plastic that sits perpendicular to the template. It allows you to align it on the each of the cabinets the same way and be consistent in drilling your holes. It can be used again and again. It was worth the $8 I spend on it. Definitely would have been a more tedious process without it.

Did a complete remodel of our kitchen and needed to install all the cabinet pulls. The Rok templates worked great and made out easy. Includes a wood drill bit but you need to be careful and stop light when the pilot drill breaks the inside surface - then continue drilling from the backside to avoid splintering the wood. All you have to do on the drawers is determine the center and width of your pulls.

As a remodeling contractor, I used to make my own template for each job I ran across - 'old school', I suppose. We just finished a kitchen, two bathrooms, an entry and coffee bar in our high desert retirement home. Being able to see through the unit made alignment quick and sure. I used a casing nail and tapped the head to place a starting point for the provided drill bit. The holes were always accurate as my wife drilled them all out and made the final assembly. (Kudos the my beautiful bride!)

Makes installing kitchen handles so easy! It’s a very simple and straight forward template. The holes were the exact size of my handles and should have any size you ever need. You just put the template on the door and drill into the Pre marked hole. The longest and hardest part of everything was deciding where to put the cabinet handles! This is an absolute must buy for anyone who wants to DIY any cabinets

Worked as advertised. This was my first attempt at installing cabinet/drawer handles, to say I was a bit apprehensive is an understatement, but to have a pro come in, for what they charge, wasn't an option for me. I am fairly handy and I do a lot of projects around the house so I gave it a shot and glad I did. 30 dollars in hardware (that I bought also on Amazon), about 7 bucks for the template, 45 mins of my time and it came out great! My advice: be careful when you mark your cabinet that the template doesn't shift at all from one mark to the next; (one little, off centered, mark could make the handle look crooked) also mark the holes on the template that you want to use so you don't accidently use the wrong ones from cabinet to cabinet. Mark, measure, check again and you'll be thoroughly happy with the results. I installed 15 -5inch (3 inch spaced holes) brushed silver, drawer and cabinet handles in about 45 mins start to finish thanks to this simple tool, heck it even comes with a drill bit. I recommend it highly. Good luck!
