Very satisfied with the SNES extension cable. It attached directly to the original controller cable. It's like an extension cord. So it gave me an additional 10 ft. Very much needed because the original cable attached to the controller is really short, maybe 5 ft ... I'm guessing?

The NES classic’s controller has a cord that’s only 2.5 feet long which is laughable. I may have sat Indian style right in front of the tv with my original Nintendo but I’m not doing that now. The pair of extensions came in a nondescript plastic bag that looked sketchy but work great. I’ve had no issues. 10 feet is a great length and I’m very happy. If you live in a massive castle you can even connect both extenders together for 20 feet.

These cables came packaged in an OEM style plastic bag. The build looks and feels really good with a locking mechanism to keep the wires from unplugging. They work for both the NES and SNES classic and there was no observable input lag. Cannot really think of any CONS because they do exactly what they are supposed to and are relatively inexpensive. I will be purchasing these again soon for my other two controllers. Time to enjoy playing from across the room again.

Perfect for anyone who wants to play there SNES like they did when they were younger but don't want to see right in front of the TV like they did when they were younger. I notice no input lag when playing. These cords make playing the SNES so much more enjoyable.

Got these cables because Nintendo thought it would be funny to put 2ft worth of cable on a game controller. Honestly, how else could something this stupid manage to make it all the way from Concept to R&D to Prototype to Sample Build to Production Build to Q/A to Consumers? I guess they are sitting in the board room laughing their asses off right now because they have sold a ton of these things. Fortunately for this Amazon reseller there was a market for these cables. They were shipped promptly and arrived undamaged. I normally wouldn't review some basic ass extension cables, but they sent me a lovely email asking how I was doing. Checking on the well being of my household pets and marriage. Even going to the extra length to mention how good my hair looked last week. After all this flattery how could I not leave a review?

I grew up in the 80's so you knew I had to get a NES mini. First things first. I hooked it up to the computer, hacked it and added 900 games to it! NOW, I had every game I had, acquired as an adult, wanted as a child, played with friends, dreamed about and never heard of! Next, take it to my 55inch TV in my office (I played on a 15 inch as a kid. Couldn't play games on the good TV. I think it was about 30in... I digress) I get the NES hooked up turn it on and MONEY! Grown man 8bit love! Let's grab the controller and see if I can still knock Mike Tyson out!!! Hollllllld the heck up! The controller has a T-Rex arm. So I have 55 inches of Samsung on a swingarm and a controller that wants me to stand cross-eyed fighting Tyson! So, to Amazon I went and here I arrived, the promise land. 6ft of long black freedom! I plugged freedom into the T-Rex controller that made it about 6'3 (still short for my family but again I digress), we stretched across my office, pulled up Punch out and got to Mike..... And got knocked out! Dang. Was it eyebrows then wink, duck or die... Nevermind. Little Mac lives to beat Glass Joe tomorrow!

I got my boyfriend the Super Nintendo Classic for his birthday and when he opened the package, he realized the controller cords were too short. I got on amazon and found this extension. Some reviews say that it stopped working for them but we used for 2 months now and they still work.

It works! I was nervous, because most of the reviews mentioned the NES Classic and not the SNES Classic. Sure, it should work for both, but does it? I can safely tell you yes, it does. It works beautifully with our SNES Classic. Now we can sit on the couch instead of on the floor. (NES = Nintendo Entertainment System) (SNES = SUPER Nintendo Entertainment System)

I was surprised by how overbuilt this pair of inexpensive pair of cables felt upon unpacking them, both the wires and the the latching mechanisms. I expect them to hold up to the strains of regular use. These allow us to sit back comfortably on the living room sofa and play from bed.
