More features than I hoped for.

This version comes with more than I could ever hope for. It will do any project I deem. 1080p 4k at 60 fpm no issues with my i7 core 16 gig machine.

plenty of fun editing options

Still getting used to it, like you have to do with most new software. It didn't seem very user friendly at first, but I have been using windows movie maker for 5 years, and corel seems to have WAY more options. I have been watching tutorials, and it seems like the possibilities are nearly infinite with this program. You can layer several videos over each other, make them transparent to different degrees or bend the images to fit over each other in different ways. It also comes with a screen capture software that picks up multiple audio sources, like for Skype calls and such. Super stoked.

Great to start with and grow with.

I started to take more video with my DSLR and found that editing them with the program included with the camera was very lacking and clumsy. Most of the suggests for editors were for Adobe Premier Pro, but I wasn't ready to commit to that level of expense and complexity yet. So far I've been able to make content out of my various clips so that they make sense rather than behaving more like random thoughts. I've been able to edit my 360 degree videos, which solves a huge problem with most 360 content, that half of the scene that has no relevance to the subject of the video. And as a huge bonus, making timelapses from my stills is much easier, quicker and requires less computer than my previous methods. So if you're unsure about video editors, use the trial version of VideoStudio and it suits you, the cost is less than 9 months of Premier Pro.

intuitive, easy, has screen record, claymation process, and many many more features

i really enjoy this program. first its interface is very easy to follow and pick up. very intuitive. also,, i was looking for a program that did live screen recording. so as to make speed painting videos on youtube. i made the mistake of ordering movavi screen recording program., and for 30 dollars thats all the program did, was record, and when i tried to upload the videos to a video editing software, it would be all distorted. so huge waste of money on movavi program. but luckily this program does both, now i screen record with this program and edit it directly in the same program. add music tracks, add voice over by mic. and speed up the video for the speed painting effect. all in all a great program and worth the money. im just learning basics so far, but already picking up a lot the first night. love this program would recommend to any digital artists trying to record their creative process. also note, i received no compensation from corel, i paid my own money for this, and am glad i did.

Great program !! Easy to use!

Incredible program - made a video for my daughters 1st birthday party. Made a 45 minute video within 8-10 hours (most of it was from organizing all of the photos and videos though)

Easy to install

Delivered as promised. Easy to install. Easy to use to create DVD's from my home media. Nice additional features compared to version 7 that I own. Used features such as slow motion and multiple video overlays to create great productions from my home videos of our children

Nice Software

I've used previous versions of this software to put together videos of my vacation photos. Provides simple, or complicated, features. I put the still photos into a timeline, add transitions, add music, etc and render it into a video that's more interesting to watch. You can actually find reviews of the product on-line. I find it just great for consumer use.

Works great. No hang ups. No adware.

Based upon some of the other reviews, I was very hesitant to order this product. When I installed it, I only enabled the main software and made sure not to install any freeware of service packs. Whenever I open the software it does ask if I want to upgrade to the newest version - but that's it. No issues at all with malware/spyware etc. As far as the functionality and user friendliness, it's great. I have never used a photo/video editor, and within 30 minutes I cobbled together a quick video complete with inserted photos, videos, and soundtrack. I'm sure that the software is capable of far more spectacular results, but I am very happy with it. Later, when I had some more time to devote, I was able to create a 25 minute video complete with an introduction page, about 60 photos and a dozen videos - and five songs to makeup the soundtrack. I am running the software on a laptop with an Intel i5 processor and 8 GB RAM. I have had no issues with lockups. When I composed the 25 minute video, it took about a half hour to complete the process - so I ate dinner. All in all, very happy and have recommended to friends.

Great for simple editing or complex fx

Can't believe all the professional level stuff I can do with this inexpensive product. I have a green screen room that I do videos in and use x10 to edit them. When I see fx in a movie I have fun thinking "Hey, I can do that". Easy to use and intuitive, have used for years.
