Compact, the most powerful (I think) electric unit available. A new model, easily assembled in 20 minutes. The hose reel for the standard 20ft power hose is not a gadget, very useful, especially if the extra 25ft hose is ordered separately. Highly recommend, gives a useful total 45 feet of pressure hose for a very long reach. Unit is relatively quiet, and only starts up when power washing. (Contrary to gas powered units which run non stop). Impressive unit. I was even more impressed with Sun Joe's customer service: when the washer was showing occasional variability in power wash output (it would occasionally cycle off, then back on again) I called customer service. After a few brief trouble shooting questions, and an email with a photo of the serial #, the agent, Trish, offered to replace the unit entirely, as the suggested fix (reset) did not correct the issue. Less than 24 hours later, a new unit was shipped and on it's way! Outstanding. A fair and appropriate remedy (unit was only a couple months old), but one that most companies would probably not have offered spontaneously and without argument. I post few reviews, and fewer 5stars - but exceptional customer service should be recognized. (I paid full price for this product, and have no relationship with Sun Joe).

I just used it for about a hour for the first time today. I was trying to wash mildew off the vinyl siding on my house. I read the entire booklet since I have never used an electric power washer before. I started with the 40 tip, as the book recommended, it didn't do such a great job. I swapped to the 25 tip, it did better but I was starting to wish I had my old gas powered pressure washer back. I switched to the 15 tip, perfect! I was afraid to start with the 15 because I didn't want to damage the siding. The 15 tip took the mildew right off without damaging anything. It takes a little longer than my old gas powered one but it is so much quieter & easier to use that I don't mind. Now I just have to wait until the spring weather gets here to get 2 or 3 sunny days & I can get the whole house done! If this first use was any indication of how this Sun Joe is going to work then I will be extremely satisfied!

This is a powerful pressure washer. Without using detergent, my flagstone went from almost black to looking like brand new. I found detergent to be beneficial on the fence though and was equally amazed by the results. It's additive. I had to call customer service (only because I didn't fully read the instructions) and they were kind and helpful. Like others I ordered the extension hose and quick release valve. Thought I needed an extension wand, but I'm short and just fine without it. I still have some leakage but I'm sure it can be fixed. I'm having too much fun to worry about it.

Terrific electric power washer. It's got all the power I need to wash the deck, the garage floor and vehicle. I use it along with a foam cannon and get a good covering of suds. It comes with easily installed tips that are quick to change. I tried it out on a deck that has 10 years worth of wear tear and weathering. I was surprised to see that it easily cleaned the wood. I had an older slightly less powerful electric power washer that didn't come close to the Sun Joe. It's something that I think I'll use often. The roll up hose reel is a great addition, though not easy to use if it remains attached to the sprayer and full of water. Once I detached it and allowed the water to freely drain it was much easier to wind. It would work much more easily if it had a scion on the frame where you could put your foot to keep it stable when rolling up the hose. All in all it's a great little power washer and I have no regrets.

I had a 3,600 PSI gas power washer before. Why 3,600? Because like any man, I wanted the maximum power I can afford! When I bought the Sun Joe, I was nervous about the difference in power. Would it clean my deck? Would it get the grime off of my driveway? The answer to all of that is yes, and what's more, it has the power I need and better control over it. How many times have you been cleaning your deck and started damaging it through too much pressure? The Sun Joe seems perfectly designed for my deck - it takes up the grime with no danger of damaging the wood. And I have two pressure settings if I want even more fineness. But it still cleans my driveway perfectly, and every other job I've thrown at it. And then you get the advantage of electricity. At the start of every summer I had do some maintenance on my old pressure washer to get it to turn on. And when I'm pressure washing, I get wet, and don't want to run out for more gas when it hits empty. With the Sun Joe, I hit the trigger and it immediately turns on and runs, like magic. Frankly, I'm in love with the thing. The wheel that you store the hose on is (as many others have noted) plastic, cheap, and a pain to use. On the other hand, at least there is a place for the hose. Other than that wheel, I don't mind the plastic, as it lets me pick it up with one hand and move it around (not something I could do with my gas pressure washer). So far, I'm 99% happy (really would like a metal wheel) and am thrilled with my purchase.

My cement driveway was a series of tire marks accumulated over the past year. My back yard patio had paint drippings and a bunch of bird leavings as well. Needed something to get all this clean and to help keep it clean (as well as a dozen other chores I've thought up since receiving this.) Bought this along with the Sun Joe 10" Surface cleaner. From assembly to 1st use took under 30 minutes and I was in my Backyard working out the paint and mess. Using one of the 5 provided nozzles, the debris just flew off the pavers. Clean like new. Next I tackled the driveway and while it took a little time to work out the best process, I was able to clear the 3 car wide driveway of all the marks (and some rust stains as well.) Just applied a little soap spray 1st then worked over the driveway is steady smooth strokes. The unit itself was easy to maneuver and steady on its carriage. The quality of this product is excellent and I'm looking forward to using this again and again. THANK YOU SUN JOE (and Amazon)

We had a gas powered pressure washer and for brute force, it was the best. However, I don't get around that well so we entered the electric age and bought Sun Joe. I grabbed the first spray nozzle and I wasn't impressed. The second was equally lacking. Three was a charm. It wasn't enough to cut granite but it did a great job of blowing the moss and mildew off the retaining wall and patio floor. It's doing what I want for a fraction of the money and effort as our former gas-powered engine. I recommend.

Been reading lots of reviews online and comparing different electric pressure washers and finally decided on getting Sun Joe SPX3001 and placed my order. Few minutes later I noticed the latest model SPX4001 and I just loved the design, so cancelled the SPX3001 and ordered SPX4001 instead. Received the unit about 3 weeks ago, but never had a chance to use it until yesterday and here are my thoughts so far: 1. Assembly was easy and straightforward. 1. Garden hose adapter was missing, but upon contacting the vendor, they asked me to register the product then call back, which I did the following day and, sure enough, they sent me a garden hose adaptor. 2. The handle to wind/unwind the hose is a bit on the flimsy side and requires a bit of patience. Just need to take it easy on it and wind it slowly and you'd be fine. 3. Washed my car and used the soap dispenser to test it out and although it did work fine, I was not that impressed with the amount of soap foam that gets dispensed. Most likely I will not be using such feature/option in the future, but will be getting a foam cannon instead. 4. PSI pressure was more that adequate and I was able to wash my car as if I was using a commercial car wash. 5. Stylish pressure washer. Cons: hose is a bit short. Contemplating getting an extension. Overall, I am very satisfied with this pressure washer and I would recommend it to those looking for one.

Got this to do the occasional power washing around the house. Very easy to assemble out of the box. Click a few parts into place and you're ready to rock and roll. Pressure washers are always a bit cumbersome due to the wand cord and hose and this one adds a little more to that issue with the electrical cord. It's important to set up in the right place from the get go as moving this as you go is time consuming. Small adjustments here and there are not a big deal but moving it more than 10 ft. requires some serious cord management. The electrical cord is long enough for most situations, as well as the high pressure hose on the wand. The hose length is limited by whatever length of hose you have attached to the house. My house is 13 years old and I attached the yellow tip to do the driveway and sidewalks. It removed a lot of grime and even some spilled latex paint that has dried and baked in the Texas sun. I like the high/low settings. I poured some window washing solution into the detergent bin and attached the black soap tip and set it to low for windows on the back of my house. It removed a lot of wasp nests, spiderwebs, and grime. Still had to go back with a towel but windows are windows. I haven't used it on my truck yet but I imagine it would do fine on the low setting. I ran it for about 3 hours doing the sidewalk and driveway and didn't have any issues. So far so good. I recommend for a residential setting as I can't confirm how powerful it is for commercial or industrial uses. For the typical homeowner power washing gutters, sidewalks, driveways, windows, decks, etc. it would be just fine. It comes with all the tips and everything you need to get started. If you wish to add detergent for car washing or window washing you will have to buy separately.
