if you want pictures to be more true to color you should apply a cool tone filter
I received my Hp Sprocket Photo Printer in July 2017, and it hasn't steered me wrong before. I never had a problem with it, and the way people talk about it as if it's the end of the world...is exhausting. First of all, you're expecting life or death for a $100 printer, if you want amazing quality there are better and more expensive printers out there. Secondly, the paper is dirt cheap, like why again are you expect amazing results from something so tiny? That being said, I still receive great results by taking an extra step. I edit my photos through VSCO to have a blue undertone. Why? Because pictures will never look as vibrant as they look in our phones or laptops because there is light behind our screens and that makes every color look brighter. That’s called RGB color and that’s why when you print anything everywhere you print in CMYK, which is another color format. So besides from the fact that this is a portable printer, colors will never look the same because of the lighting of the screen if you want pictures to be more true to color you should apply a cool tone filter, which can be found in VSCO and other editing apps. I also adjust the lighting and saturation to get the full effect that I'm searching for and this has become such a great way for me to scrapbook my days, months, or more into my Passion Planner. It's a super relaxing hobby, and this is one of the best gift's someone special has gifted me. Whichever portable printer you choose, the results will be the same if not similar. Just wanted to add my 2cents in. The phones I've paired with the printer are: Huawei Honor 5x (had it for 4 years), and now the OnePlus 6t.

Zink Photo Paper Rocks!
20 packs Rock! Each box has two foiled papers ten to a pack. There is an example of the same photo ~ one is from camera and the other is printed.

Lightweight, portable and easy to operate
I am so glad I purchased this tiny portable printer. It fits easily into most bags, lightweight, is easy to operate and there is no need for ink cartridge refills. The paper is purchased separately and is sticky backed so it essentially creates a sticker photo you can add to any page or most surfaces. Although the print quality is not perfect or even sometimes clear or perfectly sharp, it is so much fun to use and print anytime and anywhere. The app makes it fun to edit photos. It really is a fun way to print photos!

Cost efficient with magic results
I don't necessarily know what goes into film to make a photo from your phone go to a sheet of thin film to vibrant colors; but my experiences in using different cameras over the years has granted a hole in my wallet. What I suggest is buying a few of these to play around with, knowing full well that the money was put to good use. Unique, fit in your wallet, customization and the product allows you to print whatever you wish.

Look for the $5 sale price! Great value for adding photos to travel journal
Can you expect amazing color from a tiny mobile printer? I don’t think so. But the Sproket allows me to print photos for my travel journal wherever I am, yes even at the airport. I have my iPad to see the true colors but my travel journals now have photos of our trips, not just ephemera. I often use an app, like PicPlayPost, to put two photos on one print. Yes that makes for tiny photos but sometimes that is all I need in my journal. The $5 cost of this film means I can print without fear of cost. I’m happy

Best mobile photo printer
So far so good! I used to have the Polaroid version but the app failed and rendered it useless. This one has much better print quality than the Polaroid. Don't expect gallery quality prints. But it works great for instant gratification. It is nice to share with friends at a get-together so they have a moment of the event. Great for smash books, scrapbooks, travel journals and cards. Haven't figured out to print out photos that are edited within the app, yet. I get around it by adjusting photo before opening app to print out. My ZINK paper for the Polaroid zip works with this. Just keep the blue barcode that comes with the initial packet.

Not quality pictures.
The pictures aren’t as crisp as I would like to see. I wasn’t expecting perfect photos, being an instant print, but it prints a shadow like image on parts of the pictures. On a picture of my daughter and a friend, their skin had a shadow like color on it and the sky as well was discolored with a shadow like color.

Love this paper!
I recently bought the sprocket and I was really disappointed because of the quality of the photo which was terrible! I decided to give it an opportunity and see if for some weird reason the paper that the printer had in its package was bad. And this paper is totally different! The difference in the colors is evident I just love my printer and photos again ! Great quality for the great price!

Good batch of paper
I use my Sprocket heavily to print photos for my journal. This 'add on' feature saved me a lot of money. I bought 10 of these 20-sheet packs, and it was cheaper than if I had bought 2x 100-sheet packs, or even 4x 50-sheet packs. My usual concern in buying zink paper is if I'm getting a good batch. There was a time I got batch where almost every print was off, had streaks, and basically unusable. Perhaps the paper was old? I am not sure. Luckily, the batches of paper I have purchased since then have been of very good quality. I am quite satisfied.

Very nice! Would buy again!
Good quality paper. Nice prints. The only thing with zink paper is the prints come out warm and brownish like vintage style. So if you like brilliant colors, you’ll find your prints dull and colors off. My solution is- edit and lighten my photos with my iPhoto app (not Sprocket.. you can use Sprocket editing tools but I prefer iPhoto app as there are more options) before printing. The colors won’t be exact but it’s bright, clear, clos and nice enough for my journaling purposes, to just remember little moments for me to reminisce many years later.
