These were the same price as at walmart and weren't all busted up like the boxes there. If you're not familiar with this system, it is awesome. I use each cartridge until the light turns red (meaning its done) and it lasts about 2 to 3 months of daily shaves. The liquid has lubricant and cleaners, and combined with the vibrations of the razor, it works very well to remove hairs from the blade. It is so much better than rinsing with water. The cartridges have webbing at the bottom that keep the stubble at the bottom until it gets full. Very well designed and very convenient, and I usually hate things I have to keep buying over and over. These are worth it as they keep the razor clean as new!

I was somewhat skeptical of the value of the cleaning station that came with my Braun razor but after using it, I've been convinced it's worth the bother. I clean my razor 2-3 times a week and my first cartridge lasted about 60 days. It kept it cutting and smelling clean. We'll see if over time it extends the life of the cutting head as others have suggested. Weighing the cost benefit, I believe it's a product worth using.

These refills are the same as the original that comes with shaver. I did refill the original with a combo of mouthwash and some almond oil. Since I got a got six months from the one original that came with razor, I decided to purchase these to make sure the razor is properly lubricated. I paid about $15 for the three (3) set of refills. Without lubrication, the blades will dull very fast and not cut as close. I applaud the Braun manufacturing for not forcing the users to use these refills, but offer them as an option unlike other manufacturers who like to sell proprietary components that you have to buy in order for their product to work properly. The cost seems fair and not overly priced. I recommend these refills for your Braun Syncro. and I highly recommend the razor itself if you can afford it. It is the best I have owned so far. Stays sharp, cuts close even with several days of beard growth.

I clean my Braun 790cc every day and while these cartridges do their job very well, I'd like it better if they lasted longer. My last cartridge didn't even last a month. The thing is that I'm just way tired of using a blade to shave and all that goes with it and I really like the convenience of the Braun Series 7 shaver and the shave I get from it, so I want to take good care of it so that it lasts a good long time. If that means popping one of the cartridges into the charger once every month or so, then so be it.

Cleans well, smells fresh. The thing is the cartridges empty themselves by sitting there. I don't use the cleaning station daily, because it also charges the phone while cleaning and I think charging your shaver too often will diminish the battery's ability to hold charge. But when I don't use it, the cleaning solution, which is alcohol, just vaporizes, sitting in the cleaning station. Now, I remove the cartridge, put the cap back on until I use it next time.

This product combined with my Braun shaver and cleaning system relieves me of the daily chore of cleaning out my shaver. Just put it in the cleaner / charger base, loaded with this cleaner and push the button. A real time saver for my early morning routine.

Works as advertised. The cleaning solution has a pleasant lemon smell, that's how I would describe it. For about 4 dollars per cartridge on Amazon I am not complaining. That's not too bad. For the performance you get, its worth the price. I find you do need to be careful not to bump or tip the cleaning station as the fluid can spill over. The product is well designed and works as intended. Totally recommend.

My son is on his second Braun razor and both series had a cleaning base. That's one of the reasons I got him stared with a series 7, (he has a 9 now). The cleaning refills are super easy to install. My son saves the 'plug' if he needs to travel for long periods of time and they don't leak when reinserted. You can tell just how well they do simply by the amount of stubble you can see at the bottom of the containers after the razor has been rinsed/brushed post shaves. if you think normal under the tap cleaning does the job you are doing your skin and your razor an injustice.

One poster made the accusation that these are Chinese knock-offs / fakes. His pick compared a different looking cartridge from these and was likely the knock off IMHO. As the title says, these are identical in every detail to the original that came with my series 5 shaver I bought a while back. Was trying to stretch things out on the cheap by refilling with alcohol, which only worked for a few refills. After about the 3rd time the cleaning station wouldn't recognize the alcohol refill and so I purchased these. As soon as I inserted the new cleaning solution cartridge all was normal, the light went out and it functioned like new. I presume there's some tech involved that tells the cleaning unit how many times a cartridge has been used, or possibly a counter of such that tells it to stop using said cartridge after a certain number of times? ...idk. As noted, these are identical to my original in every detail right down to the same citrus scent. Amazon Prime has the best deal on these at $19.99 per 4-pk shipped, so stock up! Happy with my purchase.

While this item works well with the Braun cleaning system, if you have it, it is a proprietary Braun product so there is no substitute for it. So there is almost no competition on price. But you have to be very careful changing cartridges because they spill easily. Also be sure to clean the inlet and drain in the cleaning system, otherwise the unit can overflow, and easily pump most of the cartridge into the sink before you can stop it. A toothpick works well for cleaning. I've had this happen several times, ruining the cartridge.
