This instrument is a little gem! It has a sweet, melodic sound, and is a pleasure to play. I wanted something I could play without a big learning curve; within minutes I was enjoying making music on the thumb piano. I'm very pleased!

Best under $20 for an instrument your about to spend. Buy it fast before someone else gets it! It's been played with pretty roughly and it's starting to have some issues, but if it's well taken care of, I think this can last a long time. I think I can adjust it too, but my ears are not perfectly tuned.

This instrument is beautiful and crafted with quality I'm so excited about getting it for my daughter. I just know she'll love it and enjoy playing it. Her school showed her this instrument during International week and they made a homemade thumb piano using bobby pins and a piece of cardboard essentially. When I found this one on Amazon I had to grab it cuz I wanted to show her what an actual thumb piano look like. Can't wait to give it to her at Christmas!

Purchased this for my Toddler Montessori classroom. The instruments sounds beautiful and seems to be sturdy. Only defect is that the stain was apparently sprayed on and none too carefully. You can see a couple circles of stain inside the box where it is otherwise un-sprayed. If you’re looking for an instrument that is aesthetically perfect or more for decoration, this might not be the one for you.

TBH, I just yelled at Alexa to buy me a finger piano. My old roommate had one, and I learned to play the theme to "Jurassic Park" on it. Which was both cool and DROVE MY GIRLFRIEND WILD! Anyway, we'd moved and I no longer had an awesome finger piano. But then one night Jurassic park came on, and i sadly yelled at Alexa to buy me a finger piano. Unfortunately, I still can't play Jurassic park and harass my gf because this one has at least 4 more keys than the old one. The craftsmanship is amazing, incidentally. I had not seen a picture before placing an order (why can't Alexa pop Up over my fire stick?**) Very well made, and a wicked cool paint job I can't quite figure out. Is there supposed to be a flames/mountain-Ish (if any goalies out there remember the old icecap pads) pattern on the front? It's the same color as the base paint and is either a fortuitous run during drying, or a very subtle job of painting one layer against the grain. 10/10, but somebody has to teach me new songs! **thank me later for that one amazon, twitter @GreggOberg

Very happy with the Kalimba. This is my first one so don't have anything to compare it to. Bought it for my young grandson...we are both enjoying it. Would buy from this company again. Thank you!

I am not musically inclined with anything. This is fun to pick up and just play what you want, it all sounds pretty cool.

This is the 3rd Luvay Kalimba purchased for my Grandchildren who are starting to understand rhythm and percussion. A bright red sounding box and 10 silvery keys make the Luvay Kalimba a fine gift for a young person. The price is right so if the kids break it or loose it, no big deal. At least they will have been exposed to an ancient form of percussion.

I was skeptical about this kalimba, but after taking it out of the box and playing with it a little bit, I realized that it is handmade and top quality. It even came mostly tuned, and it is quite easy to play a song after only a few minutes. PROS: Very light yet feels durable in the hands Comes tuned right out of the box Sound resonates perfectly, would be great to plug into an amp Wood has a beautiful pattern and is different in each and every product. Cons: None Whatsoever

This kalimba is great for a musician looking into a different instrument. My wife got this for me For my birthday and it was great right out of the box. It was in tune and I didn't have an issues with anything. Awesome thumb piano!
