Really great bag! Looks a whole lot more expensive than it is, and it's nonchalant without being entirely devoid of style. It isn't huge inside, I can fix at maximum my macbook pro (13.3 inch version), a water bottle, and a sweater, at which point it's bulging. It's probably best suited for transporting a laptop/notebook/miscellaneous around. I bought this specifically to keep my laptop with me at a conference, but as a student, it fits really well into my life when I don't want to lug around my giant herschel backpack.

Great bag. Have gotten lots of compliments.

I've been using this bag for a month, and it's fantastic. I used to use an old laptop bag for work that was really showing it's age. So, I decided to make the switch to get a briefcase style laptop bag. Normally when I decide on ordering something I'm going to use everyday I come up with a long list of requirements and see what I can find. I wouldn't say this bag met all of my requirements, but it had the look and most of the features I was looking for. Also, now that I've had it for awhile, I can say it's got the durability I wanted. It's not the cheapest option, but I feel this bag was worth it. I immediately started getting compliments from other men about it. It has the vintage professional look I was hoping for. I'd also like to say that they have great customer service. Had an issue early on with one of the buckles, and they were quick to help me, and it was all covered under warranty. Do not let the fact that I had an issue dissuade you, as it seemed like a one time freak thing, and hasn't happened since.

Very nice bag. The packaging was surprising

Very nice bag. The packaging was surprising. It was delivered in a canvas drawstring bag with a card. an envelope with care instructions and a plastic bag with their logo. The quality is very good and it fits my surface pro and other items for my job very nicely. I wish it was a little large with a dedicated pocket for a water bottle but for the price I am very satisfied. The only complaint I could think of is the strange color of the strap. It a real earthy greenish gold color. It's not bad looking, I'm just not a huge fan of green.

Pretty dope company to be honest

So I bought this book bag last year. It's been awesome. It's very accessible and has plenty of room to store a variety of things. I love the packaging it comes in and how it ages over time. The other attached photo shows a one year difference (left: new replacement, right: old bag) I usually have my laptop in a laptop sleeve, a one-inch binder, charger and wireless mouse, a couple of pens and pencils, a phone charger and headphones, a planner and a book. I ride public transportation often so getting out my book is very easy because of the front pocket I've gotten nothing but compliments on my bookbag and I can either style it up or down which is choice of style. Even if it rains, the stuff inside stays dry. However, one of the straps hooks ripped from the side of the bag. However, this company is fantastic and sent me the same style bag a year later with no extra charge. The other photo is the replacement bag they sent to me. I would recommend this company and their products any day to anyone.

Strap broke

Leather strap tie broke a week after having it. Going to order a replacement, but still didn't expect this from such little use so far. Update: Vaschy reached out, asked for a picture of the defective buckle to determine the issue, and offered to ship me an entirely new bag or just a replacement buckle. I don't need two of these, so I gladly accepted the buckle. I will absolutely buy from this company again after seeing them go out of their way to help make sure the product was as expected. Great customer service!

NOT for a 15 inch laptop! [Read Update]

Great quality! But, definitely, doesn't NOT fit a 15-inch laptop. Tried 4 different 15-inch laptops and all did not fit correctly. If advertised as a 14-inch laptop bag, this would be amazing! ***Update*** After reaching out to the company, I promptly received an email stated that they were sorry about the issues and they offered me a full refund. I was actually was really surprised and pleased at the whole process of receiving the refund with this seller. As an added bonus, they also let me keep the laptop bag. Once again I was surprised and extremely happy! This is and AMAZING bag! if you have a 14-inch laptop and love this style then buy this now. Just a side note. It looks like now they have removed any reference to a 15-inch laptop on the selling page. It is now being primarily marketed to those with the smaller laptops. Although the seller did inform the that there is a 15-inch model in the works!

Great Bag but Painful To Carry

Update 1/21/19...company reached out proactively after I wrote this review and offered me a full refund. They seemed actually concerned with my experience and wanted to make it right. That’s great customer service. So I love the way this bag looks and operates and I have gotten many compliments on it. The bad news is is that after daily constant carrying of this bag from client to client of mine the metal buckle (which has no padding) dig into my shoulder and caused me to have shoulder tendinitis. I have never had pain in my shoulders and after about 4 weeks of use my shoulder was tender but didn’t think anything of it and then one day I could barely move my arm. After rest and ice I can use it but still has pain and confirmed by orthopedist that it will take time to heal. I showed my bag to the doctor and he said constant use and of this bag is what was likely the cause of my tendinitis. I wish I had researched more and bought a bag with padding on the shoulder strap.

Smart and stylish. Nicely finished.

We got this for my boss for his new job. It's super smart and stylish. More charcoal than gray in color but we all liked it a lot. Very nicely finished. Sturdy latches and I like that it has decorative straps but the practical latches. We liked all the little personal touches too like the cloth bag it comes in and the wee cards and other bag inside. Lovely to present to our boss which we wanted to get something special for. It will easily take the 17" laptop and is nicely finished inside too. Great buy. I'd get one for myself. Love it.

Perfect! But maybe not for carrying a ton of stuff?

I got this bag as a gift to my fiance to replace his old worn leather bag. It's stylish and matches pretty much everything and it's really great quality! He uses it to carry stuff for D&D like books and small trickets like dice bags. It's not great for chunky items though as the bag is pretty narrow.

My first professional bag

I bought this because carrying my big blue Patagonia bag EVERYWHERE was feeling a little passé. The bag can fit my 13inch MacBook pro plus a few books/notebooks. I wouldn't really try to cram binders in it but I bet they would fit. My favorite thing about this bag beside the leather materials is the inside and outside pockets. They zip very well. Also, the magnets that click with each other on the buckle feel really solid. I'm sure some J. Crew version of this bag would easily be $200 but I got mine for way less.
