excellent computer, I used for work and used a lot different application and its performance has exced my expectations.

So far so good. I'm using it primarily for internet streaming using the Kodi media center software for windows; watching streaming videos in 1080P and 4K with Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 audio. This is a very fast machine for it's size and outperforms comparable android streaming boxes. So far no buffering issues with 1080P video. I haven't tried 4K yet. I'm using a wireless keyboard and mouse. I would highly recommend this device.

This was perfect for my small desk with 2 monitors. I have run into some issues with Windows 10 and this unit so I thought I would post my fixes to help others. Both issues fixed with the same resolution. Also I would highly recommend adding another 8GB of RAM, which is very easy, and you can find videos on YouTube on how to install for those less tech savy. Issue 1: No sound with external speaker plugged in Issue 2: 2nd monitor, won't detect connection via HDMI Both issues were resolved by downloading the latest driver for the Intel HD Graphics 630. While Windows 10 generally does a good job with drivers, it was using an older driver and when trying to update automatically it would say you are using the correct driver currently. Once the driver is updated your 2nd monitor should detect the connection via HDMI. For the audio issue do a search for sound settings via Cortana. Select your Speakers/Headphones option and click the down arrow next to Set Default and select Default Communications Device (This would not stay as Default until driver was updated) Hope this helps others as this is the only issues I have had.

Good computer with a small footprint.

I almost can't believe what a powerful computer this is for how small it is. I think my Dad said at least 10x that he can't believe how small it is. From my standpoint, if you're looking for something simple and fast that won't take up much space, look no further. Unless you need to have a blu-ray/dvd/cdrom drive on your computer all the time, because it doesn't have that, though you can get USB plug-in blu-ray drive if you only need it on occasion. Price it out, know what your computing needs are. Almost anything you could or would need in excess of this machine you could easily solve with a USB plug-in on the rare times you may need those things. For every day basics this computer is fabulous. I'm so happy with this purchase. This has plenty of ports, it's small and it's fast because of the SSD. It's really quiet too. I would not however recommend it for hard-core gaming, although I do have a game running on it most of the time with no issues whatsoever.

So far, fantastic piece of kit. Super compact and totally quiet. It will not blow any benchmark tests out of the water, but if you need a capable office machine that will be dead reliable this is a great bet. It has bluetooth and wifi built in so you don't need to run many wires or worry about hard wiring it to your router.

Awesome little computer, quite capable and fast. My only regrets are that there aren't enough USB connections. Otherwise it's a breeze to work with, setup and enjoy! Takes little or no space, I installed a peripheral external Harddrive-DVD and USB hub and I was off to the races!

These things are great. Super small with plenty of power. Only weird design choice dell made was to use one HDMI and one Display Port connector, which makes cabling kind of pain b/c you need two different types of cables even when using identical monitors.

Works great, excellent design.

This is a business grade machine (my last company was migrating to it in the most recent upgrade) that will blow you away. Tiny form factor, absolutely quiet (because of the solid state hard drive) with so much power and speed. Just the restart speed will make you smile every time you turn it on. Because of the small size, you don't have to worry about finding room for the computer. It has plenty of USB ports (USB 3) and supports two monitors (via two different video out ports, but that is not a problem). I paired it with a 4 terabyte external solid state drive https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Backup-Portable-External-STDR4000900/dp/B0196J43TE/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 which was complete overkill since the Optiplex has 240 gig solid state hard drive. But you can never have too much memory. My old laptop is so noisy compared to this one it is not even fair. Very happy customer!
