This charger is special because its the lowest wattage newer charger you can buy today. Its important to slow charge to make your battery last. Trust me, my degree is in electrical engineering. Im adding a small cooling fan to mine because it can get warm when charging the big 9.0 Ah battery.

Works well

This is so great. We bought this because my boyfriend's original was stolen at work. Everything we found in the local area was about 80 dollars. I told him let me look on Amazon and I found this for half the price. He has been using it a few months now with no problems. Good product at a fair price.

These are great chargers, never had a problem with any of them.

These are great chargers, never had a problem with any of them. However. I've always thought they are over priced, not only Dewalt but also competitor chargers too, take a close look at what you got vs what you paid for it just to have the chance to buy even more of their products and they seem to be overpriced to me.

I got the charger quickly and it appears to work perfectly

I haven't had it long enough to comment on it other than it has worked so far (what could go wrong with a battery charger). It seems very expensive for what it is. I note that a drill, battery and charger are about $99, but just thew charger is $40 and the battery is about the same. Seems like replacing batteries is a rip-off.

Genuine Dewalt item

Its the real deal. Not a copy. As I understand through some researching, this is the same charger that comes packaged with some new tool models. Can't say how well the temperature delay works as I told the person I got this for to allow batteries to cool before charging. But having a safety like that is a nice feature. Charges the standard and extended batteries fully and in a reasonable amount of time.

Does what it's supposed to

Dewalt brand battery charger (slow charger better for battery longevity), works exactly like the one that came with my tool kit. Keep away from knockoffs if you want your battery last.

Replaced a dead charger with this one

So my oldest Dewalt charger died and I needed a new one. That model isn't made anymore, so I ordered this one. It's smaller, so it fits better in my case. It charges a little faster. No complaints.

Very good charger. Reasonably priced and so glad I decided to buy. Had the drill and battery but no charger. Worth buying.

Came in good condition and fast. Works as intended. I upgraded to the fast charger though.
