Great product for the price!

This huge mount comes in a white tiny box. It’s made of hard plastic and I would see it brake if you’re super tough with it, besides that it should work perfectly. The suction cup is well built of this awesome sticky material, so it would work even on them porous dash. You have the suction and the stickiness material and it shouldn’t move or come off even on them bumpy roads. The sides brackets opens slowly with the push of a button no need to force them out or back in. It has the telescope feature in which you can set it close to you or away from you. So far it has been doing what it supposed to do, if anything breaks because of factory issue, I will come back to this review and let you know. So far so good... Here are some pictures.

Zero Regrets

Received the product the day before this review. I used it for a single 35 minute drive to work and already can tell I will have no regrets. Simple to mount. Simple to adjust. Simply put, it's an incredible amount at this price point. Added bonus is that the rotation ball was already popped into place. Just needed to attach the holder to the mount and hit the road. Directions are step by step with pictures. I can't think of any reason you would regret this purchase.

Suction mount with adhesive holds its grip over the roughest terrain.

Absolutely one of my best purchases of the year. Make sure where you want it before you take the plastic off of the suction cup, because the adhesive makes it difficult to remove. There's an adhesive on the suction cup which is what keeps it in place in an 18 wheeler driving across Louisiana roads. But it doesn't leave any residue behind if you do have to remove it. Driving through Shreveport, LA in a truck is a challenge for anything attached to the dash, this stays right where I put it on the dash, and my Galaxy Note 8 fits in it very well. There's easy access to the charging port while the phone is in the mount. Just put the phone in and squeeze the edge to the sides of the phone. The two tines on the bottom swing out to give the phone support from the bottom. Then when you get out and want to take your phone with you, just press the button on the side and the mount releases it's grip on your phone. Well designed, great product, that out performed my expectations.

**UPDATE** I am very impressed with this company. They take care of their customers. After posting my original review on the older product I was contacted by the company. They profusely apologized for the issues from the old model. They were very professional and offered to send me the new model to replace the old. Can I say the 5 stars is not just for the customer service. The newer model is incredibly built. The suction so far is very sturdy. With the old model I would have difficulty trying to open the sides to insert my phone. With this one, it is effortless. The overall feel and look are far more sturdy and pleasing to the eye. Highly recommend this company and this product!!! Original Review: It is hit or miss with this product. I’ve had many moments where it simply decided to pop off while driving. In the wrong moment this could cause a serious string of dangerous events. The quality of the product is below standard. Especially the suction cup. The idea is great and it works sometimes, but overall disappointed.

Holds Like A Champ

I've had the Mpow phone holder for a month now and its working great. I was worried when I first got it because where I placed it on my dash has some curvature to it, but its not even an issue. Holds my galaxy S6 with a lifeproof case no problem. Driven several long stretches on bumpy dirt roads and it wasn't even phased, holds like a champ. There is a little button to release the holder's grip on your phone, it ends up behind your phone when your using it, at first it seems a bit awkward, but after you use it for a while you don't even think about it. Very impressed for its value!

I had been using a phone holder in my car for quite a while but got tired of cleaning the back of my case to get the gel circle off. I saw this item that rated very well. I purchased this item and I have to say it earns a 5 star rating. The suction cup will hold on about any spot on your dash. It also has many adjustments so you can have it fit the way you like it and it will stay. It holds my iPhone 7+ very well. Also if your dash is deep the extension of the shaft will adjust. Great design, easy installation, versatile configurations, stays put!

**Update: My original review is unchanged below, but let me just say that I recently noticed that my phone mount was a little loose. Jiggled it and it came right off my dash. But not to worry! The adhesive stuck again (because the surface was clean initially, so adhesive retained stickiness). Also, no residue left behind. After re-adhering the adhesive, I firmly re-engaged the suction cup lever, and voila! Back in business. Still 5 Stars. This thing is awesome!** What more to say? It works exactly as advertised. The sticky stuff on the bottom of the suction cup may leave a residue if you decide to remove this thing, but for me that’s not a concern. I do not believe you will be able to remove this and use it again in a different car or location. Seems like the sticky bit under the suction cup is one time use, so you better put it in the correct spot the first time. If you don’t like exactly where you stick it, you’re not totally SOL. The telescoping extension gives you quite a large range of possible placements to make sure your phone is in a convenient spot. Additionally, the hinged mechanisms on this thing really help you customize the placement exactly how you need it, similar to how you can adjust the orientation of a camera on a tripod. Very solid design. I like the dual attachment mechanism. This thing attaches to your dash via 2 features: first via the sticky, gummy underside of the suction cup, but once you have it where you want it, there’s a lever you flip that engages the suction cup, and damn it’s powerful! Strong, mechanically activated suction cup + super-sticky adhesive is a perfect solution to the age old problem of mounting a cellular phone inside a vehicle. This product is perfectly designed to solve that problem, seriously it’s a work of art. Clever engineers worked on this. I mean it’s not like other cell phone accessories that are just slapped together as an afterthought to marginally increase some mega-conglomerate’s profits, this thing was made by talented folks who understand engineering design principles and physical user interfaces. Like, I really think they put a lot of time into this design. Someone was very frustrated with the current State of the Art for in-vehicle cell phone mounts and they did a damn fine job of with this thing!

**see my original review below** Once I reviewed the product, without even asking, the company sent me the upgraded version at no charge! I don’t see customer service like this anymore! The issue I mentioned below is not a problem with the newer model! Thank you for caring and being a decent company! I will recommend you to my friends and family!** The part that holds the phone is not attached to the stand! I understand the theory behind this concept but it’s so easy to knock it off.. I do it almost everyday as i am getting into my vehicle! It has also happened several times while driving which is very dangerous considering that if it slid behind the break pedal, it might cause a driver to be unable to break! I am considering super gluing it to the stand so this will not be an issue- and if it didn’t do that, I would consider it a great product!

Just what I wanted. The feet are adjustable so I'm able to fold one in and listen with headphones. The grip is fantastic; my phone doesn't slide around. It feels sturdy and strong. I bought it to sit in my cup holder because I was against driving with one in the window, but this guy is small and super easy to see around. The release button releases my phone slowly and steady. It just feels like an expensive holder for a great price. I don't normally leave reviews... but I had to give kudos to this.
