Great stand, highly recommended!

I just received the tablet stands from Lamicall. I find this stand to be sturdy and very well built, and in the images I am using the IPP 10.5 and Kindle Paperwhite, and for TStand the IPP 9.7.

Amazing Customer Service

I'm not blown away or honestly real impressed with this product. Maybe my expectations were too high due to the insanely high ratings. The basic, simple stand I received is slightly bent and leans enough to the left that it is impossible not to notice. It is relatively strong and is not without its merit in terms of providing a simple very basic stand for your tablet or iPad. It does its job pretty well and no more. I'm leaving my original review up but amending a few things. First and most important is how impressed I am with Lamicall customer service. Shortly after reviewing the product which I don't feel was overly critical I was contacted by Lamicall and offered a full refund without returning the stand. I did not ask for anything much less such a generous offer. I never contacted them and aside from the lean in the stand had no reason or issue to warrant contacting them. I feel like this is far above and beyond the norm and very much worth mentioning. 2nd thing is being a bit unhappy with a bent or leaning stand I did not focus much on the positive aspects of this product. After the refund I figured I had nothing to lose and put some serious weight into trying to bend the stand back into position. It worked, not perfectly but good enough to use. The fact that it took the force I applied and is now still functional speaks volumes to the durability of the stand. It retained its ability to be adjustable and remain strong in holding any position. I like this stand quite a bit. Plenty of room for my iPad regardless of if its wearing a fat otterbox case or a slim folio case and is always securely able to hold the iPad in place. Overall for my needs and expectations it's an awesome stand.

No more neck strain.

I can adjust this little stand up and down as I move, easily throw it in my bag to use anywhere, and it even has a cut out for charging while in portrait mode. That's a feature many stand companies don't think about but it makes a huge difference in user friendliness. The adjustable hinge is sturdy and I have no worries about it becoming loose and drooping down over time. Tiny rubber feet ensure your stand stays where you put it. Thanks to the stands small footprint I can put it on my garden tub ledge and watch tv while I soak.

A Stand of Perfection

This is a fantastic stand! When I ordered this, I was a bit leery of how sturdy it would be, if the stand would remain upright at various angles, how strong the "hinges" were in multiple adjustments, etc. But when this arrived I was blown away by how great a stand it is. All my worries were laid to rest. There are even rubber-like pads to hold the device securely in place without slipping out. One caveat: I have a smart case on my iPad Air 2, and it is an extremely snug fit into the stand. A thick case would probably be a problem, and truth be told, it would probably work best with no case at all. That in mind, I still highly recommend this stand. It is on my desk right now, and I am able to use it during lectures, meetings, etc. Great job, Lamicall!

SO good I just bought a second one!

Update a month later: I liked this so well, I just bought another one so I can read on my Kindle AND use the tablet to play music and have the screen visible to "thumb up or down" rather than have it lying on the table. Sometimes I put my phone on there to video chat, even though I bought a phone sized one by the same manufacturer. This one works so well for everything. And it really does hold up even a hard cover book - not ON it, of course, but resting against the front. Lightweight but very sturdy and seems very well made. I definitely recommend this (and have!) especially for seniors like me with issues holding things, like a book or tablet. ___________________________________________ I needed to replace my old pillow type tablet holder and went with this one because it seemed simple, easy to clean and no-nonsense. It is all those things and just works perfectly for my Kindle paper white and 10" Fire tablet - although I've really only used it with the Kindle so far beyond putting the tablet on the stand and going "Great - works fine with this too". I have fibromyalgia and cannot sit holding even the ultra light Kindle. Too painful. This is going to be a great help, I can tell. The old one was a little too low and made me hold my head at an odd angle. And it even seems to hold a read, hardcover book propped up against it. What's not to love? And the price was just right too. I've only had it for two days, so I cannot attest to durability, but it seems quite well made. Highly recommend for anyone who can't or doesn't want to sit for hours holding a Kindle or tablet. And it's got an attractive, sleek design that should appeal to everyone. I give it a 10!

Very sturdy aluminum stand. Excellent for the price.

I purchased this item in an attempt to help unclutter my desk. It was getting bad and was impacting my productivity. I needed this for an Asus S3 10 inch tablet with slim case. It arrived in perfect order in in uniquely shaped box. It had very little documentation with it, but do you really need it? I, like many other reviewers here, was concerned with the strength of the hinge and would it hold a 10 inch tablet securely enough that I could still find it useful. I can assure you, this is one extremely sturdy stand. It hold my tablet wonderfully as you can see from the pictures I am including. It will hold my tablet in portrait or landscape orientation. The hinge is very secure and it's hard to describe, its ease of movement is perfectly counterbalanced with its ease that it won't move. I don't think I will have any problems with this stand. If your tablet or phone has a port on the bottom the stand will accommodate that as well. I chose the black color because it matched everything on my desk and the tablet. For $19 this is a good buy. I would highly recommend this if you need to get things off your desk and would like a cleaner appearance.

Small, sturdy, adjustable, stable and nice looking

I wasn't sure this would do what I hoped, but it's exceeded my expectations. This well designed little stand [it looks like the base of a desktop Mac] can hold a phone, Kindle, small tablet or even a large iPad Pro in it's case, without wobbling or threatening to fall over, even when touching your screen or turning off your device. I can't believe how stable it is just sitting on a table, yet it's not heavy. The angled device rest has thin protective padding pieces wherever your device touches it, to avoid scratches and the pads provide a bit of friction that help hold your device steady. The tablet holder is adjustable up or down so you can view your device at any suitable angle you set and once adjusted, stays there until you change the angle. The base [with more of those pads to avoid scratching surfaces] doesn't move around. The hole in the rear upright allows neat cord management. All in all, it's a very impressive, deceptively simple little stand I can recommend without reservation.

I’m not sure what some people were expecting when they purchased a tablet stand, but I love mine. It’s VERY strong, very durable, the design is great, and it’s versatile! I use this for my iPad Pro - it holds it like a dream - but if I’m being honest I’ve also used it for my Nintendo Switch as a make-shift controller setup. It held that wonderfully, too. Again... I’m not sure what some people wanted from this product, but what I can say is it delivers on what it’s supposed to. I’ve used this for drawing (I’m an artist) with no wobbling issues, and even for everyday functionality it’s still great. It comes with little rubber pads assembled, but if yours are missing it also comes with extras. This prevented it from wobbling or moving on my desk, as well as on my kitchen counter. I love the color, it’s true to its name (rose gold!), it matches well with my tablet which isn’t something I can say for other products. I also appreciate the design; it has a hole that you can stick the charger through if you’re concerned about the clutter. Great product, I don’t know what more I can say. Nor do I know what more some people want. It’s a heavy duty stand to hold your tablet. It does its job well. I’d buy it again if I ever needed another one.

Item received is different than depicted (revised)

Original review (see below for revision statement): I really do like the design of this stand, however, the item that I received is not identical to the item as pictured advertised. All stand colors are shown with rounded, rectangular gray pads to cushion the bottom & back of the iPad Pro while it rests within it -- the stand that I received features sharp, rectangular yellowish-white pads that seem to be somewhat sloppy in their installation. It looks like the manufacturer may have run out of the proper pads and trimmed some off of a roll of adhesive cushioning for my unit. The resulting color combination between the creamy white pads and black stand is far less attractive than the item pictured on Amazon. Functionally it's fine and works well, however, its appearance is lacking (see attached pic)...It should be noted as well that the stand does not accommodate a 10.5" iPad Pro well with the Apple Keyboard Cover installed. Revision: The seller contacted me. Apparently I had received an older model which still exists in inventories -- The seller provided me the revised model, which is exactly like the item as depicted on Amazon. Looks great, works great; I've upgraded the review to 5 stars. Thanks!
