Soft glow over my bar

Exactly what you want if you are looking for a soft amber light. It definitely has more of an orange-yellow color. They came packaged well and all of them worked. I use them over my bar. I also have bright white pendants in the kitchen and I don't like having them on at the same time. The color difference is pretty noticeable. But by themselves these give off a nice, soft, homey light.

Great lights bulbs! Warm glow! Great value!

Cool bulbs! Love them! Have used 2 so far with no problems. Nice, warm glow. Great price for 6 bulbs. I am very pleased with these. Each bulb has it's own box inside of the main box and also a plastic bubble pack inside of that for added shipping and storage protection. All arrived in perfect condition. I highly recommend these bulbs. Dimmed the camera so there would be more detail to the bulb and not so much glow.

Does it look great?

If you are going to go with Vintage lighting (Incandescent) vice LED then look for the best bulbs you can find. In my case I was looking for warm lighting w/vibrance and distinction. A 60 watt Vintage Edison or other Vintage style does not have the intensity of a LED but it has ambience. These bulbs are great and look spectacular! No problems with the vendor at all and will buy more as the need arises.

Very beautiful bulbs. Not very bright. Run a little warm

I love these bulbs. They are a little dimmer than I expected, but otherwise I am very happy with them. If you want a 40 watt illumination or a cool running bulb, these are not for you. If you don't mind that they run a little hot and give moderate illumination, then you will really enjoy these. The are particularly good for applications where there is no shade on the light. I use them in end table lamps where regular bulbs were blinding my guests due to my tall end tables. The shades were not low enough to be effective. These bulbs give nice mood lighting and are pleasant to look at.

Transformed Dated Light Fixtures

Recently purchased a home with numerous outdated light fixtures. While I had to replace some of them, I was able to transform the pendant lights in my kitchen as well as the fixtures over a guest bathroom mirror. What a difference! Both fixtures had the heavy, goldish-tan glass globes previously. In addition to these edison light bulbs, I also purchased the cage covers on Amazon as well. I would have done the same in my master bath, however the cages hung down over the mirror, so that didn't work. Highly recommend!

Perfect!

These were just what i was looking for. A lightbulb that is bright, but not so harsh that they can't be used as nightlights. I needed some warm colored lights for the lamp in my living room and the vent over the stove, i leave those lights on all night so i can see if i wake up. These were just what i wanted.

Best Deal Ever

I have multiple light fixtures in my home that require Edison bulbs. But they are terribly expensive at retail stores. These bulbs are less expensive, have lasted longer than the store bought ones, and I get a discount card with each purchase. I am a repeat customer and will continue to be.

Perfect Edison bulb

Beautiful, arrived intact. If you're looking for "normal" , bright lighting, you won't get it with these or any Edison bulb for that matter. But, as far as Edison bulbs go, they give off great light. I've had Edison bulbs in the past that were certainly pretty, but the light was minimal. These are perfect. Soft and yellow, but bright enough to light up the room. These have a subtle amber tint rather than clear glass, which in my opinion, is ideal for this kind of bulb. I will definitely be ordering again.

What an awesome look!

I love these bulbs for the unique look of them. The ones I purchased are 60W and dimmable and even at the highest setting are not a bright light. The light produced is a pale yellow glow. Enough for reading or most activities except sewing, or anytime you want a bright light to see. It is really pretty and perfect for the area I needed to use it. However if you want a brighter light these may not be fore you.

1 of the 6 blew when I installed it, but the rest are great. They are made from a sturdy glass, not thin like normal bulbs. They are taller than I expected, but they are the same size as indicated in the ad. And they are not as bright as most 60 watt bulbs. But, I love the look. I installed 4 of them outside of our front entry way (one spare left). The curly bulbs looked so terrible. I know they save money, but I just couldn't look at them anymore, I had to get theses bulbs and I love how they look. I'll give up a little electricity to see these instead of curly bulbs anyday. I was thinking of getting the led version, but for now I love these old style incandescent bulbs with many filaments. I will order more when these blow. They are way better to look at than curly bulbs.
