I was a little skeptical because the price was more than I wanted to pay, but I was glad I had a beautiful looking option that wasn't a cheap plastic. It blends well with my dark bed set. My bedset has giant drawers that open on each side, so we cannot have a typical nightstand on either side. Installation was the best part! You just twist a knob! Seconds to do, and seconds to move if you decide. Even has I little notch so your charging cord will not slide off. I keep my chargers, glasses, tablet, and usually a coffee cup on it. Looks like it could hold a lot more weight if I tried. Very sturdy and doesn't bend or move. Rock solid.

I have a Lenovo Yoga 910 and always have it by my side, day and night. Before the BedShelfie, I had a little black bag that would hang from the side of my bed. Besides needing my laptop by my side, I have my chargers, Advil, and other little things here and there. Eventually, things seemed lost in that bag and I would always have to scramble through it. This was not good if I was in a rush for something. Then came the Bedshelfie... It is made out of study material and made well. I will point out that there is fabric at the end of the rods that hold it up. This is a great add on because it will not scratch your bed. The rods are also not noticeable so it doesn't look funky. I ordered the "Plus" and it holds my 13inch laptop and my other daily items well within arms reach. The Bedshelfie is made with those who do not have a lot of space in mind. It is convenient and simple, yet stylish. Great product!

I am so impressed with this product. I have literally been looking for something like this for years. We have a trundle bed in our guest bedroom. So a traditional night stand or bedside table would block the trundle from moving in and out. This is the perfect solution. It is nice and sturdy even with my 13 inch MacBook sitting on it. My two year old tried to climb on it. I freaked but the Bed Shelfie held up. As you can see, mine was originally slightly slanted due to the bevel on my bed frame. I corrected this by adding a tiny piece of cardboard to each fastener. You can see this in the fourth picture. The fasteners are well protected with felt tips to ensure that you do not damage your bed frame. The cardboard pieces are strictly due to the unique shape of the bed.

Great quality. Not cheap material. Solid wood, not pressboard, but not heavy, and still holds the laptop, phone, and a drink. It has quality felt cutouts attached to the edges & on the screws that hook on to the bed which ensure no damage to the bed. Holds snuggly to the edge of the bed, and adjustable for bed frame thickness. Love the notches on both sides so that computer/phone cord holds in place and not fall on the floor. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

For reasons not worth detailing, I've never had a nightstand, and thus all the stuff I need to access while I'm in bed -- there's a surprising amount of it -- spent years on the floor, necessitating my almost falling out of bed every time I needed an item. Then I saw a super cheap and ugly bedside shelf (NOT the BedShelfie) in a store, decided to do some research, and the rest is history. I have the smaller shelf, and still it holds three phones and an e-reader as well as a pen, notebook, and face cream. There's room for more, but if I stack the shelf too high, I will never have a reason to get out of bed. Because of its convenient height vis a vis my mattress, I'm not constantly knocking stuff off, yet it's easy for me to reach whatever I want. The black shelf looks good, like it was meant to be there. The BedShelfie is a brilliant idea, and I love mine. After a month's use, it still looks pretty sturdy and I hope it lasts forever, but if it doesn't, I'll buy another without hesitation.

This is by far the most useful thing ever made by man! The inventor of the Wheel should be ashamed as his creation pales in comparison to the Bed Shelfie Plus. Gutenberg would have never stopped Black Smithing if he knew his press would one day be overshadowed by this world-shattering product. Edison, Whitney, Bell, Marconi would have wept at this masterpiece of engineering. Only Tesla with his mad intellect could have come close but humbled could only sit at the Master's feet. In the Pantheon of the worlds great inventors there can be only one Greatest. One God among men as they say. Let us salute and revere CHRIS ENG of BED SHELFIE PLUS for this penultimate contribution to mankind! I am sure the Nobel Committee is watching. Purchase now so you too can bathe in the glory that is the BED SHELFIE PLUS.

I have been looking EVERYWHERE for something like this! I have an IKEA Brimnes bed with pull out drawers on all sides - great for storage, not so great for nightstands. I looked for floating stands to put on the wall (heavy and ~$300 each). Less expensive ones with the right color were plastic or fiberboard and not aesthetically pleasing. These are classy, match my decor, made from quality material, and the price is right! I rent so an added bonus is that I don't have to put any wall anchors or mounting in the dry wall. I'm telling you, if you have an IKEA Brimnes, Brusali, Flekke, or Hemnes, this will make all your side table dreams come true!! The only foreseeable downside is if you're looking for something to hold a bedside lamp - it's probably too small and sits too close to the bed. But I have an overhead light fixture and a floor lamp, so it's not an issue for me.

This was a perfect solution for my ever-so independent 19 month old son. He is still in a crib but would become frustrated not being able to reach his cup of water at night or in the morning before we got to him. I purchased this to keep a spill proof water cup in arms reach with a favorite book; he LOVES his new found freedom. It does have some sharp corners on the underside. I just wrapped an old swaddling blanket around the edges...problem solved!

We tried another bunk bed-brand specific shelf, and it wouldn't fit on the loft we bought for our son. Then we found BedShelfie on Amazon, and even though the color was "black" and the loft is espresso brown, we went for it. The reviews and the fact that it was solid wood swayed us most, but also b/c we could tell that the clamp function would definitely fit on the inch-thick rail. It arrived, and straight out of the box, it was perfect: 1) fully assembled (bonus, after just fully assembling the loft!), 2) it was solid, nicely weighted wood (bamboo), 3) the "black" color looked close to a very dark mahogany/espresso to me, so it matched the loft completely. I think it would still go with a true black bed well enough though. Attached it easily to the loft, appreciated the nice pads that wouldn't scratch the furniture, and could tell it was not going to fall off. I can see the branding on it would have bugged me a bit in the lighter color, but in the dark one, you don't see it at all. My son is thrilled to have the shelf, and we're very happy with it - fully the best one out there, even though you're paying a bit more.
