I have an older bottle (circa 2002) that I really like, but the straw was long and rimmed all the way down, so when I put a smoothie in it, it left some residue that eventually turned mold-like in the center of the straw. I debated getting a replacement straw, but they were sold in packs of like five and cost double what I paid for these straw cleaners. I figured I could always use these straws to clean my other gym bottles and whatnot and saved myself $5. The long straw cleaner worked like a charm and took out the old residue without a problem and it has been there for months. Would absolutely recommend these to anyone without hesitation!

Perfect for hummingbird feeders

Great little set of brushes. See attached pic. You get 3 sizes, 2 of each size and they have protective nubs at the end to keep from scratching. The bristles are semi-hard, about like a medium toothbrush. It's exactly what I was looking for to clean the hummingbird feeders. Good stiff twisted wire handles like you used to get from the Fuller Brush company. For around $5 you can't beat it.

Lots of purposes for this collection of brushes

I like three size brushes in the packaging and the quality of the product. Actually, I purchased these brushes for cleaning smaller parts in my shop and for cleaning the hard to reach insides of my coffee bean grinder. These brushes are great all purpose cleaning tools.

Strong bristles

Received today as described. The bristles do not feel like those cheap plastic kind I was very impressed. I put them next to a 12in ruler for comprarison along with 2 of my Starbucks straws and I used the middle length one to clean the clear straw and it worked wonders. Definitely getting another pack when this wears out.

Great Quality

Initially thought about getting pipe cleaners from the craft store, but I'm pretty lazy and couldn't justify a trip to Hobby Lobby for a stupid bag of pipe cleaners. Bought these to clean stainless steel straws. They are more sturdy than expected and work great. I anticipate they will last for a long time. I like the range in size. Typically, I would only use the large ones, but it's nice to have a smaller option if I come across something smaller to clean. I'm sure it'll happen in the future. They're great for cleaning non disposable water bottles/nozzles too. 10/10 would recommend - especially over a tacky bag of multicolored pipe cleaners that will rust .

Straws Are Finally Clean

These are great. Good quality bristles and wire handles. They cleaned the leftover smoothie gunk out of my reusable Starbucks straws just fine. The smallest scrubber is a perfect fit diameter-wise, but turns out the biggest scrubber squeezes in just fine too. Length-wise, I find that the biggest scrubber is the only one that will push all the way through my ~10.5 inch straws, but it's not a big deal that the shorter scrubbers can't. The smaller ones actually have slightly stiffer bristles, so even if I end up using the biggest one the most the smaller ones may turn out to have their uses.

I needed a better way to clean our straws

It wasn't until I started my new fitness routine that includes daily protein smoothies, that I realized I was going to need straw cleaners. Between the fruit seeds sticking in there to a gross looking film, I needed a better way to clean our straws. These cleaners work perfectly and I love that they come in various sizes for all the different straws. Highly recommend for those that have reusable straws at home.

Work really good

I'm so glad I bought these. I like to re-use cups from BajaFresh. I drink a lot of iced tea. I didn't have a good way to clean the straws in the past, so when they eventually became brown, I'd throw them away. I didn't find a good brush in stores. I didn't know what size I needed, so I liked it that 3 sizes of brushes came with these. One fit my needs perfectly. I was amazed at how clean the straws became with just soapy water and one of the brushes. I was also able to clean some bottles for my daughter with a different sized brush that came. I thought I was not going to need 3 of each, but then... I left one in my house, I brought a set to work, and put a set in our camper. Perfect! Great value.

Great brush kit.

Works great; perfect for cleaning straws or pipettes. Soft bristles that shouldn't leave scratches. Variety of sizes (3) and includes plenty of brushes (9 total). I like that the ends are sealed with a soft rubberized tip. I uses these brushes for cleaning 5 ml glass dropper pipettes and they work wonderfully. Shipping took almost a week instead of 2 days, but that was the fault of the US postal service and the unfortunate coincidence of a holiday weekend. The seller maintained excellent communication and follow up. I would recommend these brushes to others, and would buy again.
