I like that the pole has some weight to it, which makes for steadier, less jittery video. It also just feels like a durable, quality product. The locking/unlocking mechanisms are as easy as a little twist, so there’s no time wasted.

This thing is solid and a tad on the heavy side but not to its detriment. I like the way this feels in my hand, it feels like $59.00 well spent. All the joints lock together snugly so when this thing is extended and locked into place you're not going to get any wobble or jarring in your footage and that is a major reason you would want to buy this. Pairing it with the swivel mount allows you more versatility for things like underwater shots while you sit in your kayak. Just get it!

New to the go pro, l went with this pole, It's much more substantial than just about any other pole out there for the GoPro l have tried. This means it is heavier than others but also much, much sturdier. I like the rubber and solid feel of this one plus the twist and lock. I also like that it uses the GoPro quick release mount rather than the screw mount. l added the gopro swivel head mount which makes for faster mounting/dismounting of the Hero 5.

Ive owned many selfie sticks to use with my Gopro hero 4-5-6-and now 7. This one although not as compact as others is amazing. One of my biggest complaints with others was the creaking noise you would get on the video. With EL Grande you get non of that. Its quick to make long and short with minimal action. Its super well made and sturdy with high quality materials. If I were to ever lose it I would buy another one in a heart beat.

I own a few selfie sticks for my hero 6 and the El Grande is my go to. It's the burliest with a nice handle that makes it easy to hold with gloves. The rubberized grip gets tacky when wet and never slides in my hands. At 38" fully extended it locks solid and does not move. Collapses no problem and doesnt stick like the cheaper selfie sticks. If you want something that is durable and wont lose your gopro, look no further.

Great weapon of choice while hiking in hostile territory. Will easily fend off smaller weaker creatures. The weight balance allows for good recovery after each full effort swing. Its reach will keep the hazard at a safe distance while you calmly one-hand your family to safety. Don’t forget to hit record.

Strong and long... no really this pole is way longer than I imagined and the material is very high quality built to last. Only thing is I wish it would float in water.

This pole worked very well for me when I took it Scuba diving in Hawaii. Its extremely sturdy and (so far at least, it hasnt been that long since) it has held up well to the saltwater abuse. Mind you I was very careful to clean it well with freshwater after every use. One thing to note is that when you extend the pole, the interior fills up with water so you need to work it in and out a few times fully submerged in fresh water to really clean it well. On the flip side, it makes an awesome water gun in a pool setting, lol. Extend it under water to fill it up, then point it at your victim and 'collapse it'. ;-)

This is a very solid pole. It's much more substantial than just about any other pole out there for the GoPro. This means it is heavier than others but also much, much sturdier. If you have the Karma Grip then this pole is strong enough to hold it. Even without the Karma Grip however I believe this is the pole to get. I have multiple Smatree and other brand poles but none of them feel as solid as this one does. I also like that it uses the GoPro quick release mount rather than the screw mount, which makes for faster mounting/dismounting of the Hero 5.

Just when I thought that all of these accessories were disposable junk, I found this El Grande pole. Wow, this thing is solid! Feels good to hold. Real good quality. There's a good reason why people pay more for this pole. I doubt it will ever break.
