Best phone case I've ever used, by far the best folio. Thin, light, tough, feature rich.

I had to replace my Note 5, and since the note 7 was not yet relaunched, I had to go with an S8+, which I was honestly all that thrilled with. I liked my S pen. But this case makes up for that wonderfully. This is hands down the best phone case I've ever bought. It doesn't have the raised lip of some cases that would protect the phone if dropped face down, but it does protect the screen better than open-face cases. No need for a plastic/glass screen protector unless you're REALLY prone to phone dropping. Fit and finish is exceptional. You can access the buttons through the case, it doesn't impede the speaker, charging, or headphone jacks, the flip out stand design is magenetically held down, a very nice touch, the case secures to the corners, giving the "edge" system the phone has unimpeded thumb access, the case is THIN (a must for me, I love folio cases but 95% of them try to double as wallets) and doesn't have any of the wallet slot nonsense, instead it trades that for something I far, FAR prefer, the slightly translucent screen. With the phone case closed, even in bright daylight, you can see the day and the time. Very useful. And there's also a sensor pad in the case, so when you open the case, if you don't have your lock screen passworded (it will work fine with facial recognition) your phone instantly unlocks. A really nice feature, removing the step of having to press the power button every time you open the phone case. And closing the case sends the phone straight back to the clock, again removing the need to press the power button. Overall, this case fills all my requirements and then some, thin, durable, added features to the phone's functionality, and a kickstand. Honestly, this is the best S8+ phone case there is, even at the $50 price tag this thing blows everything else out of the water. I went from being kind of "meh" on the S8+ to actually liking it more than my old venerable note 5. I might like this case more than I like the phone.

A must have cover for the phone... Even if you had a different one!

I just love this flip cover. It fits perfectly to my S8+. It does not guarantee the drop protection but definitely provides the scratch protection. It's always been difficult to handle the flip covers but this one is perfect fit in palm. Pros: - It's well finished - Perfect fit - Always on display is clearly visible - Touch on the flip works perfect. Cons: - The cover is fingerprint magnet - Very glossy and easy to get scratch - There is only one magnet to hold the stand, wish there were two because the magnet is weak Verdict: A must have for the Samsung phone.

Favorite case by far!

I absolutely LOVE this case. But let me start off by saying - you do NOT buy a case like this for protection, don't be stupid. You buy it for functionality and design. Don't be surprised if it doesn't protect like an OtterBox. That being said, I have never loved a case more than this one! I was an avid OtterBox fan, but the latest designs just do not fit the plus sized curved screens, after FOUR returns I still had gaps in the Defender Series. So I decided to try something new and stumbled upon this case when Samsung was having a 50% off sale. I pre-ordered it and instantly fell in love with it!! PROS: - Not a scuff, dent, scratch to be seen after several drops and rumbles in my purse with keys and multiple other items. Of course, I did add a screen protector the first day I got it. - BEAUTIFUL!! I constantly get asked about this case and where to get it. - You can enjoy the unique S8 colors by getting the case that matches your phone. - Easy to interact with calls and alarms from the front screen with the cover closed. You'll spend at least the first hour trying to figure out how it still "works" while closed! lol It's fun to play with. - Kick stand - hello! Can't do without this feature. And it's incredibly subtle, you wouldn't know it was a feature unless you read the description. - Cover STAYS closed, it doesn't flop around like the cheaper cases. No annoying latch to deal with either. It works on gravity, but the back of the front cover is grippy, so it hugs the screen well enough to stay put. - Durable "hinge/spine" didn't crack, fray, or crease after being opened/closed countless times daily. - The cover knows when it's on your phone, which you have to admit.. is pretty freakin' cool. When I put the phone back in the case, it greets me and offers me matching themes. Sometimes, it's the little things that make something great! Don't get that with OtterBox or Spigen! CONS: - TRUST me - put a screen protector on the front of this case. It does seem to scratch easily, but that's simple to fix with a protector. The rest of the case is very durable. - Not cat proof. I bought this replacement because my cat chewed the corner of the one I bought direct from Samsung. The thick plastic on the cover was sharp from the teeth marks and it wasn't comfortable to hold anymore. Not really a design flaw, but worth noting for animal owners. - People will constantly want to touch it and play with it. They will be mesmerized by how the cover works as well. - There is a learning curve to taking pictures with this, and it's very difficult to use the fingerprint scanner now that Samsung made the poor choice of moving that to the back of the phone.

Fascinating LED display when closed. Sturdy cover in attractive color

Fascinating cover has an LED readout when closed. The cover is made of sturdy plastic for excellent protection. The steel blue color is attractive. Phone can be answered and used with the cover closed. Cover can be opened to serve as a stand for viewing (horizontally) videos.

Exactly what I needed! I carry my galaxy S8+ in my front pocket and no matter how I set it up, it would often turn the screen on in my pocket. Sometimes I would remove it to see the "screen will turn off in five minutes" message (it never does turn off after 5 minutes though, just stays on forever). Other times when I took it from my pocket the emergency 911 screen would be on. Once it had even dialed 911 three times before I realized it! Since I've had this case, it has never activated the screen when in my pocket. The case is a hard plastic so not as cushy as my last case however it works for me as I rarely drop my phone. It is probably medium protection. It does look slick too. My son paid $60 for this case when it first came out so this is a great price. I paid $21 and change.

Love it; veryyyyy Pretty

I received this phone case on time & it was packaged well. I just loveeeee the color of this case and was so pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful it was. It is much prettier in person than in this picture. For me, the case is working just fine. I have no idea what the cutout circle is for on the inside left panel. It caught my eye right away. One fella on here wrote that from continually rubbing it scratched his screen and he posted pics to show. To me it looks like he may have had a screen protector on and it scratched that, but in an abundance of caution, I simply put a smooth sticker over mine so I don't have to worry. If that circle is to let light in for something or the other, I don't really care. The top scratches easily so one has to be careful of that, just in case you are a woman who might put it in your purse next to a brush or something along those lines. I haven't done so yet, but I still, already, have a couple of scratches on top. Anyways, I like it and would recommend it to others.

Great product, it has worked exactly as stated

Great product, it has worked exactly as stated, I've only had it a couple of months, but so far, so good. The screen cover is a shiny mirror like surface which serves a purpose as well. I haven't had any problems with my phone slipping out of the case as some people have stated, and I have dropped it a couple of times since it got it, with no damage to my phone, although the case has a couple of small scratches - it has done what it's designed to do which is to save my phone screen! I love the view thru feature, it's great - all-in-all I'm very satisfied!

This is the original case from samsung for S8, i bought it for my wife and the front is transparent so it can be used withought opening the phone which makes is look very cool and sexy. if you buy this expensive phone please dont use cheap $10 case on it and make it look ugly. This looks high end from a distance and gets tons of compliments especially from iphone users. lol

Just the right amount of bulk, functionality, and style.

This is basically a book style case. Where the phone snaps into the case. It adds some bulk, but keeps things relatively slim for it's style. Except this case has a very nice clear hard plastic cover on the front. It allows you to see the always on display while it's closed. And provides a very nice, somewhat reflective appearance when it's closed, sitting on the desk. I've had quite a few comments and compliments on this case already. While on the desk, in my pocket, or just carrying around, it has just enough protection for me. My biggest complaint, is that it really needs to hold the phone better. If you dropped this at just the right angle, or high enough, it's very possible the phone could pop out. Fortunately, I never drop phones. But if you do, it's something you'll want to test out to verify it meets your requirements. It has a stand functionality that allows for watching movies and such. Unfortunately it's a bit too vertical for my preferences. It really should be angled more upward. And was likely a simple limitation of the case design. At least there are handy magnets that prevent it from flopping around like other, lesser, cases. The day I got this case, Samsung updated their Always On Display app so it would work with their own case. No idea why it took so long to do that. But now it works. So when you close the case, you can see the time/notifications through the clear case. There is a visible circle in the bottom left corner of the cover that triggers this. Wish it were better hidden, but it's a clear case, that's another design trade off. Overall, for me, and what I'm looking for, It's perfect. If you need more protection, there are other less fashionable options.

I LOVE MY PHONE COVER!!

I was skeptical about buying this since the reviews varied, but I've been using my cover for several months and not only does it look good, it hasn't ripped, separated, or lost it's lusture. I use my phone A Lot more than an average user, so, I open and close the cover more than normal and it still looks like the day I received it. My only issue is that one corner where the phone snaps into the case was chipped when I got it, so, it's basically holding it in by three corners of the phone. If I didn't need a case so desperately at the time, I would have sent it back for a new one, but it still holds my phone securely.
