• Prevent the baby fish from the adult fish's attack and improve the survival rate of the baby fish. Perfect isolator for aggressive fish, injured fish, small fish, shrimp, clownfish, and other marine fishes.
  • Multi-room Designed - Space can be divided into as much as 3 small “rooms” as needed. Remove all the partitions to work as a large hatchery box.
  • 0.5mm Super-slim Isolation Gap - Thinner than the gap of the fish eggs plate, effectively protect the baby fish from the invasion of the adult fish.
  • Original Design of 4 stands to Make It Steady - The W funnel won't be floating because of the water pressure when it's not placed upright.
  • No need to open the cover when feeding because of the upgraded design with a feeding hole on the top. New suctions made with Environment-friendly materials, better adsorption.

It does stress the fish out a bit, but it does what it is supposed to do. Just give the fish some time.

Great tank for babies! Fits in my 10 gallon tank on the front of the tank well!

I Love this Breeder Box! Saves all of my babies. They try to squeeze thru but the babies cannot until I take out the mother.. Incredible design. I need a few more of these "D

We purchased the Petzilla Aquarium Fish Breeder box (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XK132FT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_OAbkCb7Q18TSJ) for use with small platty and bristle nose plecos. The slats on the side are perfectly sized to prevent the little ones from swimming out into the big tank. In the picture, the Petzilla Aquarium Fish Breeder box is on the right. The smaller one on the left is a Lee's Two-Way Guppy Breeder box (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002APRK6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_j4akCbK0FDZQG). Both have the inside dividers removed as we only placed babies in when we found them in the main tank. I've also used a XMHF breeder net (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0795X2TKT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_kCbkCb7HB0AE8) but not in the attached picture. Below is a comparison of all three: SIZE: Petzilla is larger in size which reduces crowding as the babies grow. If you have a smaller tank, the Lee's may be the better choice. Breeder nets are available in many sizes including larger than both boxes. SLATS/OPENINGS: Petzilla side openings are smaller so we have not had any babies swim out into the main tank. Lee's has slightly larger side slats/opening a which allows for more water movement but also can allow the smallest babies to slip out. Breeder nets do not have slats so no one can get out but if you have babies that try to burrow in, such as pleco babies, they can wedge themselves into the net behind the frame and get stuck and die. FLOATING & PLACEMENT: Both are designed for free floating. I never knew how important this was until tank cleaning time! The floating feature allows it to float down as the water level goes down so the fry are always in the water (unlike a fixed net box). The Petzilla also has suction cups if you want to hold it in place in an area with more water movement. I've done this once the babies get a bit older and I want them to get more comfortable with the way the water moves in the tank. Breeder nets do not float and are attached so use caution when cleaning the tank or your water level can drop below the net (when using a net box, I remove it with the babies in it for tank cleaning). A good thing about the breeder net is it allows water movement on all sides which is more like the real tank. OBSERVATIONS: My kids observe the fish and write notes about health and behavior. They also want to record which platty babies what traits: long vs short fin, regular vs Mickey mouse tails. The Petzilla and Lee's make observations easier. The net is harder to see through but not for the casual observer. CLEANING: For all 3, I'd reccomend using a Turkey baster to suck out poop or leftover food daily. CONS for each: Petzilla - small sides = less water flow Lee's - larger sides = babies escape and get eaten. Breeder net - areas to get trapped (for pleco babies). Overall, I like the Petzilla best for when we have pleco babies or a large litter of platty babies.

Great product. I have imported guppies came from Thailand that I would like separate from the community tank. This product dose that and help keep my lines pure in breeding. Hopefully within a month I will have baby guppies.

Right after I got it my daughters potbelly fish had 15 Little ones. Got it right on time. Perfect size for her 5 gallon fish tank.

i put my female in the box for the last week of her pregnancy and she did great. had 20 fry that fell right to the bottom and then was able to move the mother out of the take and the fry are doing great

Not sure why some people are complaining the the separating tray floats. Once in the water just invert the breeder box holding the tray upside down and release the air bubbles that get trapped under the tray and voila tray stays in place. Took me a little while to figure it out but it worked for me...

When you take out the inserts it's a nice large box. I like that it's constantly filtering the tank water through it rather than other versions that don't have slots.
