One day later and its a vast improvement.
After just 1 day, I see an major improvement. Our dogs are very important companions to us. I was almost hesitant to purchase the product, but after reading several reviews here and looking at the mfgs. website. I decided to give it a try. I usually want more feedback before trying a product on my beloved dogs. I am glad, that I decided to forge ahead and be the one to give feedback for everyone else. The wife and I have multiple huskies whom we share our life with. I certainly love the price point. It works just as good as other name brands. I say other name brands as this product will certainly be a name brand, and it is one we now trust. My huskies tolerated this product very well, and showed no signs of any reaction at all. Well except for a major reduction in fleas. After 24 hours, I checked our dogs and I couldn't see any visible movement. I know its not a 100% product on the first go and it will take few applications to completely stop the cycle. With further applications for preventive too. That price sure makes it easy to provide those. I/we literally cut our monthly medication bill in 1/2. So we will 100% be purchasing this product again. Being basically a rescue, (our vet classifies us as one) due to taking in multiple huskies over the years. We have tried to be frugal with some things but food and flea medicine are things we don't cut corners on. I would recommend this to any rescue groups out there whom may have tight budget constraints. We know the more you can control costs the more you can help other animals. Being as how passionate we are about our pups, I will be sure to update this review as needed. ** edit: I wanted to notate we have used this on dogs as young as ~1 year, to senior dogs 13+ years of age. All have faired well and tolerated the medication well. Its now October 2017, and we are well outside our normal flea flare up season. The pups are doing well, the medication continues to be a vital part of our medication regimen. I saw no ill affects at any time in its use across as many as 13 huskies. Yes we have 13 huskies as pets. They are all rescues and not used for breeding purposes. Actually all are fixed. Edit 2: Its now December 2017 and we are still continuing to purchase Activate II, everything is still going well for our huskies. **** I will continue to suggest this as an alternative to some of the other higher priced medications. Having said that all users should be on the look out for adverse reactions when any medication is given. I would recommend placing an animal poison control number in your phone. Remember that pets are just like us, I may react differently to a medication, that you can easily tolerate. The same goes for the pets. The vast majority of the population may likely see no ill effects, but you have to be prepared if they are in the minority group and cannot tolerate a medication.

Perfect for cooler climates
I am very happy with this product. I've tried many of the higher-end affordable flea products, but they mostly have stopped working (Frontline) or I'm not comfortable with the laundry list of ingredients. I've used the name brand of these ingredients before and liked them, but no topical was enough for Florida (if you live in the south, just get a chewable flea med, they work! We liked Nexguard with the heartworm protection in it). But, for Oregon, where the fleas die each winter, this is more than enough. My dogs had no reaction, the amount of liquid didn't make them greasy (follow the directions!), and it lasted the full month for the two months I wanted to use it as a precaution. I trust this brand would stop an infestation if it had already started, as well. They have a great website too which always makes me feel a little better. I would recommend this even if it is a little more expensive than cheaper flea meds. And please, do not EVER use a Sargeants or similar brand on your dog. Always, always, always look at reviews. The ones you can get at the grocery store are no good!

Superior results
I have two 13 pound dogs, outside often and we live in a country setting. About 5 years ago I started with Frontline and couldn't beat the fleas. Switched to Advantix II but had to couple it with Comfort for results. Last Fall started with this product and again this Spring. My dogs have not scratch even once and I've seen no fleas and only 1 tick ( honestly not even sure what the heck this particular parasite was but it was attached like a tick). I'm not sure if it is just a lesser year for fleas but what a relief. Seemingly no side effects, ( a bit of a reaction from one pup - seems a little depressed or slower for a day) but the other meds REALLY bothered him with nerve tingling so much better. Overall, I don't like meds but the fleas and ticks so profuse I have to pick lesser of 2 evils. So far, this seems great.

Get it now!!!
I'm not a big reviewer unless a product is either horrible or great but let me promise you this product works. I just bought this a few days ago cause my dog got fleas from my sisters place. I usually start treating my dog in march but we were not having a problem yet and honestly money has been a little tight but when I seen the fleas crawling all over my dachshund I went ahead and ordered this after seeing the 5 star reviews and its not a bad bang for your buck. I put on the treatment as told to do so per the directions yesterday and within hours I seen the fleas starting to die and I woke up this morning to no more on her. This stuff is great. I will be stocking up on this for the future and hope this brand sticks around.

Perhaps it even works better than Advantix 2
I had no issues with this product for my dog. I was using K9 Advantix II and decided to try this one because it says it is the "SAME". After using it, I agree. Perhaps it even works better than Advantix 2...

Happily pleased with a generic to K 9 Advantix
I bought this for my roommates dog, she was out of town when I noticed a few fleas, freaked me out! I used it as instructed and right away I noticed Leila stopped itching and I haven't seen any fleas since. I know that she tolerated the K9 Advan brand well so when I give the bill to my roommate I know she will be happy at the cost difference. I think she paid twice as much for the national brand product and this one has the same ingredients. For myself, since I am a cheapo I always look for generics and this one has not disappointed. Will advise my roommate and any other dog owner to buy. P.S. it says it repels the insects which is an added feature since our grass is very long in our yard.

It works better than I expected.
It took about 2 treatments to get all of the fleas. After that all of the fleas are now gone. That includes fleas on patio and indoor carpet. I did my due diligence and sprayed all over with Raid, but I'd been doing that for months. Once the Tevra kicked in, all of the fleas were suddenly gone. And my dog is no longer bringing them in from walks either. I've tried several brands over the years, can't say any of them ever worked quite this well.

Works great with direct skin application!
Got this and read all the positive and negative reviews. Decided to try it out for myself because I have two dogs that suffer greatly from FAD. Advantix II stopped working for them as they have scratched themselves almost bald. Stray cats have brought those hard to get rid of fleas into my yard and I’ve been fighting a battle for about two years now. So I ordered this, and the same day I ordered it, I took my dogs out of their kennel area and treated it with sevendust. On the same day I also gave them flea baths. When this arrived, I put it on my dogs *DIRECT SKIN CONTACT is a must,* and let them back in their kennel (two days time). It has been a great relief to see my dogs NOT scratching their fur out, looking like they have the mange. The flies have been leaving them alone as well. I am greatly satisfied with this product, and will be ordering it from now on. Much cheaper than the name brand Advantix and so much cheaper than the flea pills. I have 5 large breed dogs all over 60lbs. This is super easy on the wallet.

As good as Advantix II
I tried this product based on other reviews and the price after running out of Advantix II. We live in the country and fleas and ticks are plentiful here because of the landscape and wild animals. I'm happy to say that so far the dogs have been on it for nearly 3 months and still have no fleas or ticks and there's none in the house either. They also didn't have a reaction to it which was my biggest fear. Will be buying again.
