Amazing little thing
This, together with a tiny tripod (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GST1C2Z), and a cheap arca-swiss adapter from eBay, make for an amazing low-angle ultraportable shooting platform. This is perfect for a mirrorless like my A7iii with the 24-70 f/4 - all my other lenses are from the Samyang AF line and they're all lighter and shorter. I have not seen any drift so far; the ball head locks on tight and stable. The best part? everything collapses into a tiny pocketable rod ready to go in 5 seconds. (I know it's not the best star trail photo or anything, but I had to bail after only one 10min shot since clouds were coming in and the moon was rising, but it shows that this combo is at least stable enough for 10 minutes.)

Love using this, very versatile
Needed to pick one of these up to mount an external monitor to my gimbal and I rigged this up so I could adjust the monitor angle to fit the job. Works perfectly. It feels a bit cheap, but the parts that really count are metal.

Great for the price
Quality is nice, feels very solid and it's easy to adjust. When adjusting the ball head the whole thing swivels which I wasn't expecting, but after I got the hang of adjusting it it's fine. Great for the price!

From a professional - very well-made!
I'm a retired professional that still works with very professisonal equipment, mostly in 4x5" and 8x10" film formats. I also still print in a darkroom. I have many tens of thousands of dollars in equipment so I know well-made equipment when I see it and this is very well made. I bought it to use with an action camera for recording time lapse video, etc. I was surprised by the heft and quality of this little ball head. It's all metal except the tightening knobs. It will serve my purpose perfectly and I couldn't be happier. I also bought a tiny tripod to go with it that am also exceptionally happy with. For anyone interested, the tripod: is:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S685XRC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Best ball joint I ever bought.
If you want your camera to stay in the position you lock it in then buy this head. Best I ever bought and I just bought two more after my recent first.

Tiny but strong
Put a Canon EOS with my 100mm f2.8 Macro lens on it sideways. Held up just fine. It's smaller than I thought, which is good because I need it for travel.

High quality
Very high quality. I bought some cheaper versions and they will work for my project but this one is of much better quality. If you need a high quality one, this is the one... and it is at a great price.

Good head
a good little head. solidly made. I've got it on a monopod with a manfrotto QR adaptor on it. the head adjusts easily and locks securely I've used it with a fairly sizeable Nikon 80-200 f2.8 (maybe 1kg) and it held up just fine. I wouldn't push it further though.

Solid metal ball heads
I purchased these for a stick lights (aka Ice Lights) since the previous ball head would not hold the weight while tilted. So far it seems like these are much better quality, they feel solid - made out of metal vs ones before were plastic. I am going to update if these will not hold the lights.
