Did the job.

Used them to hold a tarp in place over an outdoor crafting/work table. I made hinged 2x2” stakes to keep the tarp off the table and inset the magnets. The washers stay on the top of the tarp. Keeping my work table from absorbing moisture from rain, dampness. They are STRONG.

Ridiculously Strong magnets

I wanted very strong magnets, but these things are an abomination. When I first got them out of the package I took the piece of plastic that keeps the two pieces separated and they instantly attracted each other so hard that I had to use tools to separate them. You will not be able to separate them with your bare hands.

STRONG

bought the smallest pack - didn't need 8... and these things are just about the size of a silver dollar, I like that they allow you to put the screw through the middle to secure. I used them on my sliding barn doors in my living room, I installed those myself so they have a slight - sliding back to the other side (open). So, to keep the doors closed, I just put one of these at the bottom of the floor trim, and the base of the door. I then put one between the two doors... Both doors slide. Access is easier if you keep the doors together and slide as a whole single door. So that one magnet on the floor trim really works well. Keeps the cats from the spare room.

INCREDIBLY STRONG! Most cases with these type of magnets is they are fragile and tend to crack. Not the case here. While they are fragile by nature, the “cup” makes all the difference keeping them together. I put too much torque on one and it cracked, but because it was in the cup, it didn’t shatter and I’m still using it as is. Very pleased with these strong magnets in a cup. 2nd strong point is tense come with washers that make complete contact with the whole magnet.

Wow! These are unbelievably strong. Maybe too strong. I bought these for two storage doors on my pontoon boat... let's just say the storage compartments are now wimpy person and child proof! 💪💪

These are not toys and are worth every penny!

These are the magnets every other vendor seems to promise but only these guys deliver. Extremely durable and incredibly strong. Honestly, the only hesitation I would have would be "do I need to buy magnets this strong?" I'd say yes every time but that's because I'm building the parts I'm using them in. These are so strong that I needed to set the magnets deeper on the part to reduce the pull force. Honestly though, what a great problem to have and one I haven't had with other seller's magnets. These exceeded all expectations. Don't go cheap/bulk. Just buy these. You'll be glad you did.

Perfect for what I needed

I am using this on my shed door to keep the door open when I want it open. It has an advantage over the hook I was using in that one of our sons was in the habit of closing the door without undoing the hook.

Good strong magnet.

Good strong magnet. The washer was a smaller diameter than another brand that I ordered. The washer diameter matches the diameter of the magnet on this product. The magnets will break if you over tighten the mounting screw.

STRONG magnets.

I don't know what people are talking about when they say these magnets are not strong. Without the plastic spacer in-between the magnets are very difficult to separate even when you try to slide them off each other. My biggest concern is maybe these are too strong. I bought these for a little DIY fire pit table I'm making, where the side panel can be removed completely and these magnets are perfect with the countersink screw holes.
