This gun disappeared from Amazon for a while, and I was extremely excited to see it come back. I bought it almost immediately, and it arrived the next day. I was a bit reluctant on buying it, as my last motorized nerf gun (The Regulator) was extremely loud and shredded every dart I put in it. It was later returned. This gun, however, no longer has either of those problems. Every dart fires fairly consistently, with very few hiccups, and the gun is a fraction as loud as the other one. Overall I am very happy with this product and would buy it again. I will say though, that you may want to buy a bigger magazine. 6 darts just isn't enough for all the fun you're going to have!

I’ve heard about the thermistor problem which is when you blaster shuts down because of overvoltage which still occurs with normal alkalines (normal AA batteries). You can fix this by twisting the omega looking thing on the top right until the two metal wires touch but don’t twist it too much or you might break and it would be very hard to fix without soldering.

I got this for my 2 year old son to play with his older son and he loves this gun. It is great because it does not require him to pump the gun to shoot it. It is compact and perfect for younger younger kids trying to get into nerf.

Got this for my little boy because he can't pull back the spring loaded nerf guns. This works great. My ONLY complaint is that the darts seem to get jammed quite often but that's likely the darts causing the issue rather than the gun. Son loves it.

What I like most about the stryfe is that it is a tiny blaster that can be attached to most or all nerf attachments!!! It requires common batteries and can cause a diffrence in a nerf war!!! The thing that will be hated is that the other side of the stryfe is not painted making the blaster look ugly. Other than that I recomend the stryfe to anyone!!!

Bought this after deciding I wanted to try out an electric gun and this one seemed to be a good place to start. Upon arrival I did what anyone else would do. Load fresh duracell rechargeable batteries, load the darts and finally load the clip. After emptying 6 shots in rapid succession the gun stopped spinning up. I removed the batteries and inserted and it still wouldn't shoot. I opened up the gun and twisted the thermistor. The flywheels spun up without any issues. I changed the batteries to Eneloop AA's and closed up the gun. I loaded a newly rebuilt 35 dart drum magazine and EVERY SINGLE SHOT went through without a shutdown. I went and ordered a second gun and will be buying three more for modifications and nerf wars. Overall the gun has a great feel to it, comfortable to hold the extra grip really isn't needed but I find that more to be a personal preference thing. Same for the extended barrel that's included. The paint and color scheme seems decent enough and overall construction seems to be good. The darts that work best with this gun are the Koosh darts followed by the accustrike darts in close second. I found that these shot very straight and accurate. I highly recommend getting Eneloop AA"s that are rechargeable. These are a SAFE, economic and high quality AA solution that ensures your blaster spins up FAST.

Only issue WAS, every now and then it jams. Take apart the shell and look up the issue on YouTube. First thing I noticed is a rubber gasket the darts go through. You can see it through the unjamming cover. Remove that and you’ll improve the overall performance. Many many mods are available for this model. You can push 150+FPS with mods.

When first released, the Stryfe rapidly became popular due to its compact size, effective flywheel system, and modification potential. It performed well, and being a semi-automatic flywheel blaster meant you could use two of them at a time - one in each hand. The Stryfe would see a wide array of aftermarket parts released for it, including 3D printed cosmetic kits, flywheel replacements, battery upgrades, and more. The Modulus Stryfe keeps the vast majority of the original Stryfe's design intact, and is virtually identical to the original Stryfe, barring the paint scheme and the presence of a thermistor that seems to impede performance in some rare situations. If you don't own a Stryfe yet, the Modulus Stryfe can fill that space easily - it's a fairly affordable Stryfe that still compatible with Stryfe kits and accessories, takes modifications like a champ, and ticks all the boxes. The thermistor issue really isn't much of a concern, especially if you plan to modify the internals anyway, as it is easily removed.

Purchased this Nerf modulus as a gift for my grandsons award of being on honor roll in school. He loves it and is excited with the additions he can do .

The main reason I bought this was for the color. Ever since the Elite XD Stryfe was released, it has been a nightmare trying to get matching attachments that would match the obnoxious orange. I'm glad the new one is white so it'll match all the current attachments, as shown in my pic. That's great for anyone who cares about the look of their blaster, but doesn't want to paint it. Also, mine does not have a dart lock, like all other Stryfes. I hope that's true for all of them, as it makes the trigger pull so smooth, and completely eliminates the risk of locking up, because that stupid lock is no longer in the way.
