Very nice space saver
I love this unit. It fits perfectly in the small space between the vanity and the wall. Yet it is so handy, that I would not be dropping this stuff on the floor.

Sturdy and compact
Perfect for the narrow (under 1ft wide) space in our tiny bathroom. Finally a place to store all of my makeup! It so happens that the shelf is exactly the same color as the cat. It interested him greatly. It was easy to put together too.

Better Than Expected!
Confession: my apartment has the weirdest guest room shape of all time. The only place I could put the bed left a 10-inch space between the bed and the wall for a night stand. Enter this little guy. Easy to put together, WAY sturdier than expected, and it looks really nice! It's the perfect little stand for my weird room, and now my guests can have a lamp and somewhere to put their phones or alarm clocks or jewelry or skulls of their enemies (I don't judge).

Fits in a narrow space!
Was looking for a shelf to fit in a tight space in my bathroom to use as a plant stand for ages. This is the first thing I’ve found that was narrow enough. It also seems sturdy and looks pretty good for the price.

Space Saver....
I adore this slim wood shelving unit. I have been searching for a slim, tall, modest looking unit for months. My searches on Amazon.com brought me to the Mado 3-shelf unit and after adding it to my wish list and waiting for the price to go down a little, I finally ordered it. The product arrived with all of it's pieces and following the (English) easy to read directions, I had this unit up in thirty minutes. Only tools I needed was a screwdriver (hardware was included). The material is durable, the shelves are adjustable to your desired height and the support panels protects my items from falling out. The unit fits right into in a narrow space in my entry hallway. Overall, great looking shelving unit, quality materials, and a true space saver. I appreciate you for taking time out to read my review. I hope it is informative.

Small and super handy
These shelves are in my tiny bathroom, 2 sets of them stacked atop one another stuffed between the toilet and the vanity. They're perfect. Assembled easily and seem fairly sturdy. They hold all my bathroom stuff from extra tp to rolled up towels, cleaning stuff, hair appliances, hair products, face cloths and cleansers, oral hygiene products, feminine products. I'm shocked at how much stuff went onto these quite tidily.

Great unit
I thought I would wait until the morning with its super bright direct sunlight flooding into the living to put the unit together. But in the midst of my PBS mysteries, my curiosity got the best of me. I assembled the unit. I also decided to use my Phillips screwdriver rather than my power tools. It was fun though I would take breaks due to arm muscle fatigue. When I put the first two screws in, I thought it misaligned but my intuition (building bookcases from scratch and not "kits" such as this) kicked in. After a number of turns the two wood pieces tight together perfectly. It is morning now and the finished unit has books and DVDs in it. Looks lovely and is the perfect size for the space that I had indented for it. Only one caution, as it was late when I assembled my unit, I was a tad rough with it at times, and it suffered a minor nick which I repaired. I think it would be easier for two people.

Excellent for a Low Price
You get what you pay for, mostly. This is not all that easy to assemble; the instructions are drawn from a confusing angle that made even a seasoned assembler scratch her head. Otherwise, the color is nice, and the laminate wood grain looks better than most. It is of higher quality than similar items you can find at the popular box stores. A note on sturdiness: it feels pretty solid. The bottom shelf sits directly on the floor, which makes it less prone to tipping over, but does not look as nice as shelves with feet on them. The shelves can probably hold quite a bit of weight, but everything is particle board so the life span will be more limited than a solid wood shelf. Overall, it does its job well and looks better than Walmart, but at Ikea prices, so a win in my book!

Awesome
I needed a bookcase to store reference books with other odds and ends between two closet doors. So I ordered the wide shelf. First of all, when open the box I was impressed, I've ordered so much furniture online and it's absolute torture getting things out of the box. Usually, there's styrofoam everywhere and the box is ripped to shreds. This box was was secure, but easy to open and see everything there. It impressed me immediately. It fit perfectly in the box and was well protected. Probably not an important detail to most people, but I hate the headache of dealing with large cumbersome boxes and packing material. There was absolutely no mess to clean up after assembly. The box folded in half easily to fit in the recycling bin, and the styrofoam didn't make a mess everywhere. On to the bookcase, I wasn't expecting much for 30 bucks. The instructions were clear with easy to follow diagrams. The screws were all there, and again, amazingly packaged and easy to open. They even separate the screws between two bags, so you won't have 50 some screws rolling around on the floor. It took me an hour to put together with a simple screwdriver. It probably would have taken me less time, but I took a short tea break. The end result is a beautiful bookcase. At this price range, I was expecting twisting tubes, no tools assembly type of deal. The photos are perfect representations of what you get. It's sturdy too. I only have books on the top shelf and yoga blocks and accessories on the other two shelves. But I know I could load this baby up with more weight if I wanted. The company really impressed me with an affordable, beautiful product that came smartly packed for my benefit. I will definitely purchase more from them in the future. I didn't receive anything for this review.

Great Shelving!
From Bob's Wife: I am an "older person," though strong and physically fit, and adept with a power drill/driver. Glad this is heavy as we need it to be sturdy. Easy to assemble; instructions and diagrams could not have been better. We're using this in our mud/laundry room; everything purchased comes in here before being moved into the rest of the house. So these shelves need to handle everything from the grocery and liquor stores, and everything purchased online. They are up to the task. The wood tone has a grayish cast to it which is fine with us. Won't use the plastic covers for the screw holes; they don't really match, and the "industrial look" of the recessed screw heads is fine with us. Great buy.
