A new baby MUST HAVE. These are my personal must haves to survive the first couple months. My son absolutely loved them. 1) 2-3 halo swaddle sleep sacks 2) sound machine/white noise machine 3) a lot of Muslin swaddle blankets (little unicorn or anden and Anais) - use these for EVERYTHING 4) Wubbanub pacifier- SO much better than a regular one because you can use the attached stuff animal to prop it up to stay in their mouth. 5) baby swing 6) my breast friend nursing pillow 7) a huge water bottle for me 8) NETFLIX

Great sleeper for babies that enjoy being swaddled
I'm a first time parent with a son that loves to be swaddled. It's the only way that we can get him to sleep at night. My mother got me a newborn size Halo swaddler when my son was born and it was amazing. After he was starting to grow out of it, I didn't know what to do. I quickly ordered this Halo swaddler in a bigger size and I'm glad I did. It's so easy to wrap up my son every night and for naps. He instantly calms his body and snuggles in for a nap or deep sleep. I also love the dog/puppy print; it's so cute! The material also feels soft and comfortable, and it's easy to wash. I would recommend washing it once a week to keep it in good clean condition. I actually bought a second sleeper so that my son can use it at day care. The staff there love using it and say that it's easy to use. Overall I'm very pleased.

Life saver
Halo sleepsack are a lifesaver. I will always give this as a baby shower gift, I could not have lived without mine! My son wears these with just a diaper. I own two of each size (newborn and small) and style (cotton and fleece). My son has no preference but I feel peace of mind that he’s warm at night wearing the fleece style. I will be sad when I can no longer swaddle my son (as soon as he rolls over) but nice that I can continue to use this product with the arms free! Nice that it is essentially 2-in-1. Also nice is the zipper that zips top to bottom so you can unzip the bottom just for diaper changes without taking everything off!

Complete game changer...Baby sleeps 9 hrs straight!!
I don't write reviews unless the product is 5 stars!! This Halo Swaddle completely changed our lives. At 10 weeks old our baby went from getting up every 3 hours during the night to sleeping 7 hours straight. It took only 3 nights of wearing this amazing swaddler to get him to 7 hours. And now 3 weeks later he's up to 9 hours at a time!!! Like I said, changed our lives and sanity!!

My baby started sleeping 7 hours at night with the sack!
I got this because my baby woke up and cried every 2-3 hours at night till her 2.5 months old. My baby sleeps much better with longer hours ever since I started using this sleep sack. She started sleeping 7 hours right away!! Now she is 4.5 months old, she still uses it and sleeps 8-9 hours every night :D I like the design that has sack to keep her warm and wings to swaddle her. My baby does not like to be swaddled while she is awake, so I keeps her in the sack and leave the wings loose till she falls asleep then swaddle her as closing the wings over her chest with arms in without taking her out from her crib. I don't have to use a blanket to keep her warm at night which can be dangerous for a baby. She wears an onesie with this sack in a room 67-72F degree at night, her body is nice warm all night and morning without sweating. I love the space for legs so she can spread her legs while sleeping. Unlike other baby clothes, the zip closes at the legs side instead her neck which prevents scratch in her face or neck. Big velcro is another my favorite part of this sack which makes easy to adjust the tightness as baby grows. I strongly recommend this sack for parents who want their baby and themselves to sleep better and longer.

Durable, quality swaddle, well designed for free leg movement!
High quality material, very durable swaddle! HALO SleepSack swaddles were a lifesaver for me as a first time mom. We used them from birth until baby boy started rolling at 4 months, at which point we stopped and transitioned into the plain HALO SleepSacks. Although this swaddle looked very long when I got it, the size was actually perfect from about age 2 months to 4 months for our little guy, who was 22.5-25" long during this time. The swaddle wings kept it tightly oriented around his torso without twisting, and then he had plenty of free movement from the hips down to kick and move his legs. The weight of the cotton material was perfect for the spring months. We had baby in long sleeve, footed PJs underneath during the night, and we would just swaddle him in whatever clothes he was wearing during the day for naps. We rotated between this swaddle and one other, so that we could put one in the laundry as needed. We used these 2 daily (for naps and overnights) for two months straight. The material did not pill up, and the velcro remained in great shape. I did feel like the cotton material was slightly less stretchy than the microfleece we had used for the newborn size swaddles, which resulted in baby being able to wiggle his arms out of this one on occasion. However, he was also getting stronger by the end of us swaddling him, so that might be why he was able to escape a few times. Will definitely be using this again whenever baby #2 decides to make an appearance!

Best Swaddle I've Used
Sleep sacks and swaddles are expensive, but I have found these to be really worth the cost because they zipper from the bottom up (allowing for easy access and not having to take the entire swaddle off of your little one to change his/her diaper overnight) and because they can pull and velcro the swaddle tightly. I've had other swaddles that don't zip up from the bottom so you have to disturb your little one and unwrap them overnight to change the diaper and I've also used those cloth/muslin swaddles and they never stay as tightly. The only thing to caution (like any swaddle) is to make sure that you velcro down away from their face as it has a tendency to ride up a bit and you don't want the blanket over their face. I've had no major issues with that, but it's just a caution. I do have a stubborn little girl who likes her hands near her face when she sleeps so she does have a tendency to break out near the bottom, but it is fine because it still holds her hands into one place so she isn't startled.

As a new mom, you do anything you can to get a little extra sleep. I got three of these, in different patterns. At first I had trouble shelling out $60 in something I know will only last a few months, but it has been worth it. My baby sleeps better at night and is more likely to take a longer nap when he's in these. He spits up a ton, so they get washed very frequently. The colors haven't faded and the velcro still works really well. I just fold them backwards on themselves so that the velcro doesn't snag other things in the wash.

Snuggly Sleepy Baby
Getting a Halo Swaddle Sleep Sack is hands down the best purchase that I made for my baby. My little girl has a strong startle reflex and can be a very light sleeper and prefers to be held while sleeping, which has made for some rough nights. She also is a baby magician and somehow manages to escape even the tightest of wrapped blanket swaddles (and the velcro swaddle me!). When we use the swaddle she sleeps at least a consistent 6 hours at night, waking for a feeding, and then goes back to sleep for another 4-5 more hours. I love this thing, I also love that it's safe (no worries about a blanket covering her face!) and it's easy to use. It's also very durable and the zipper zips down, making for easy diaper changes without baby having to be unswaddled. I recommend this to everyone. We will be transitioning to a no-swaddle sleep sack soon (as baby has started to roll over!) and I will miss getting to use this swaddle.

Hands down one of our favorite baby items
Hands down one of our favorite baby items. We just bought another for baby two. My husband calls it the “baby straight jacket”, but as a new parent I liked not worrying about whether they’ve broken out and thrown the blanket on their face. We also produce hulk-like mega babies that laugh in the face of swaddle blankets but demand to be swaddled so this was a must have. We forgot to bring it to the hospital the first time and i made my parents pick one up before they came to meet baby. It’s really THAT great to us. I can’t say enough about this company and how great their products are. We still use the toddler sleep bags today! The only “con” I would say is to realize there are a lot of layers going on there and even after drying it will probably need to be laid out for a couple hours to dry completely.
