Great replacement to the old trailer steps

We've had 5 travel trailers and discovered these new steps at an RV show last spring. Ordered them, put them on (fairly easily but husband is a machinist so he's pretty handy), and have been using them daily since Aug 1 on our 3-month RV road trip. They are great! The big dog can go up and down them easily and there is no bounce to the trailer. Also love the larger landing step at top for stability. Our friends bought a set for their 5th wheel and love theirs as well. BE SURE YOU MEASURE THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR FRAME AND ROUND UP AND ORDER THAT SIZE...our friends measured wrong (inside of the door flange) and theirs wasn't wide enough.

It's very steady!

My husband installed this in our 5th wheeel. We like how sturdy and steady it is when exiting or entering the 5th wheel. We especially like the extra wide top step. We use the stair handle that was already on our 5th wheel and no relocation of it is needed. We feel much more secure going up and down the steps now. It's not too heavy for me to raise it up into the doorway of our 5th wheel.

Steps were easy to install - 30 to 45 minutes at most (actual installation time - not including reading and understanding the instructions which were well written). Steps were solid, easy to adjust and eliminated the springy steps standard on our travel trailer

The product is very well built and super easy to install. It doesn’t ship well and the box got really beat up by UPS. I had some bent metal but a rubber mallet straightened them out with no sign of damge. The steps are rock solid and look great.

And easy to install.
