My dog and I feel connected while I’m away
First I would like to say that I feel this was worth my investment. I did purchase this on Amazon as a refurbished unit that came with the PawCall at a bundled discount. Basically, I received the PawCall free. The pros that I encountered: I can dispense a treat to reward my pup, I can hear him as well as see him when he answers my call, He can hear me when I speak to him through the unit and he can interact with a game through the PawCall when I set the time of day to do so. The PawCall only needs a very light touch to activate the treat during the game. He hasn’t called me with it yet, we are currently working on that. Treats are grain free and made in the USA and dispense accurately. Also, it has a low treat sensor on it so that you don’t have to guess when to refill it. I was able to use Command Velcro strips to secure the PetChatz unit (I am not fond of putting holes into my walls) and has held up perfectly. Now, the cons that I have experienced are: Directions for install are on YouTube only (frustrating, because when I open the package I want to read it in the directions for myself, I think YouTube is great for trouble shooting or for those who like a demo). I am only 50 and very techno-savvy so that is not the issue. I want instant gratification of installing and using the unit (much like a Millennial). Also, if you are excited about the YouTube video directions it would be nice if they were made in installments so that you didn’t have to watch the entire video to get to the part you want. Because FFing through the video to get to the exact point you need doesn’t get you there either without over or under-shooting the exact point. In which, you just have to watch the darn video anyway. Options....PetChatz, we need options! Installing the Bluetooth USB into the port was a pain!! The port needs to come out a bit because when I went to install the USB it fell into the unit which I had to shake, jiggle and turn just to get it out. I decided to use tweezers to install. Well, that didn’t work either because the hole to the port was too narrow. I’m not a big woman so I have fairly small hands, but it was difficult to get it into the port. Agreeing with other users I would like to see the monitor screen that your pet looks into a little bit bigger. Even though my dog isn’t a TV watcher and refuses to even look at my iPad screen, this may fix the issue for other users. Lastly, the Aroma Thereapy is a great feature, however, it doesn’t seem to diffuse the burst of air while using the unit. These are my observations as a PetChatz user. There are pro’s and con’s to everything. As for my use, I believe it works as they claim it will. But, I also believe it is a bit pricey for its capabilities. Hence, ordering the refurbished unit! Good Luck to all! It’s worth trying it out!

Love the device & the customer support!
We are just getting settled in with our PetChatz unit, but so far I can say that the installation has been easy, the features and functions are well thought out and fun to use!! I am looking forward to many years of fun with my kiddos, which will especially come in handy when I am traveling and want to stay in touch. It does my heart good to know that they can hear me, see me and get treats even when I am not there. I also love the silent mode which allows me to just check in on them without the interaction. In additional the unit and features, the customer support behind this product is outstanding! Not only does a human answer the phone within the first couple of rings, they are more than happy to guide you through installation, answer any questions and will follow up with you later to make sure all is running as it should - unheard of these days - can't say enough good things about them!

BEST INVESTMENT EVER!!! <3
Expensive yes, but you get what you pay for! You won’t regret it! It even has training programmed and my dog learned how to use the paw pad in just 30min. I have a large male chocolate lab and he absolutely adores it! Don’t cheap out on the dogtv because he REALLY watches it! I was blown away by the results. He fell asleep watching it even. You get a 30 day free trial for the dogtv so worth a try! It’s only $10 a month afterward. Also make sure to put the camera low to the ground about a foot and a half. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!

Improving seperation anxiety in my lab
So far, so good. My poor lab has terrible seperation anxiety! He’s had 3 different anxiety medications without much improvement on any of them. I’ve left him a handful of times with the PetChatz, and a loaded goody ball, and he seems much happier when I call him. I will talk to him, and so will my kids if I’m driving, and he seems much more relaxed, and no more messes to clean up! That improvement has really helped MY stress levels, too!

Awesome Pet Technology
I love it. Barbie Q loves it too. This is the neatest technology item I've seen in a long time. I would recommend it to everyone that wants to check on their pet.

Only use PetChat Treatz. They are a pre-specified size and feed from unit reliably, unlike regular dog kibble.
Great Invention ! At first I was a bit skeptical, but this product really delivers what it promises. With three dogs at home all day it is an excellent way to check up on them. The remote treat release was incredibly easy to use for training each of them to check in on the living room monitor. Excellent way to provide peace of mind !

Fantastic Product!
You know that feeling when your pup greets you at the door? Well, it is about a million times better when they call you! We bought PetChatz and Pawcall combo for Koa, our 5 year old fur baby. This product came quickly, was easy to set up and training was a breeze. This is worth the money for the features and ease of use (2 way video, voice, snacks, scentz, app, Dogtv, automatic videos, etc). I really like the app and appreciate being able to order treats and scentz right from it. Also, definitely get DogTv. Koa loves it and I have definitely seen him mellow out since we got this.

Worth it! 2 way chat and videos.
I have really enjoyed being able to easily contact my new puppy @MurphyTheMGD while I am at work. I started having it on the stand but he began to chew the cord. I mounted on his crate and bought a cord cover to avoid a chew-disaster. Over all this product is great. The customer service and videos explaining how set everything up are helpful. I have the pet watch set up to send me videos which are hilarious. He’s too little to really understand how to use the paw call but I think I will use it more once he is out of the puppy phase. Paw call only works when you set up the time to call not just calling out of no where. It also has aromatherapy, which is nice, but I’m not sold it helps. Setting up Dog TV was great too. It calms him down and now I can put it on other smart TVs to expose him to new sounds. Well worth the money over all for PetChaz.
