Love this lamp!

I looked at many lamps (for days I have to admit) before I decided on this one. It arrived nicely packaged with each element well protected against scratching of the surfaces in transport. The short assembly instruction is enough to quickly assemble the lamp without problems: parts are marked with small stickers and are screwed together until you have a solid pole. The foot of the lamp is very heavy (careful during assembly, the weight is substantial) and will keep the lamp from tipping over. The top part with the light can be moved in all directions and twisted sideways. The light can not only be dimmed but this lamp also allows you to change the hue from a bright white to a very soft light (4 settings). And in my opinion, the very best feature are the touch sensors for all settings and the on/off button. No more searching in the dark for the switch or on-button! Just slide your hand lightly along the pipe and it will turn on. Slight touch is sufficient. I am very happy with my purchase and will buy a second one for our living room.

Great adjustable floor lamp

Love this lamp - I use it as a bedside reading lamp and appreciate being able to choose the strength and color of the light (a few settings from white to yellow), as well as the adjustable neck. The way the stem of the lamp is at one edge of the base lets it slip between my side table and bed, up against the wall. The touch buttons work great, no issues there, and it was easy to put together. I got a second for the other side of the bed. Issues to be aware of - I read the reviews and knew these going in so was not disappointed, but you should know: - The dimmest setting is not as dim as I'd like it to be, but I can just twist the neck toward the wall or downward to decrease the light. - There is a small orange light below the buttons that comes on when the light is off, and since I like my bedroom dark I put some tape over that.

Good Floor Lamp

That is the kind of floor lamp I had been looking for while. It is functional, simple ,good looking, and high quality with unbeatable price. I use it for piano or wall picture light. Warm light color or Day light cover different need. If I have to pick an improve area for this lamp, I wish I could plug the lamp into an on/off switch to toggle it on or off. I understand the convenient of having electronic control on the pole may be the trade off for what I hope to have. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this floor lamp.

Great Choice-Lucky Me!

I love this lamp. I needed a reading lamp by my side of the bed. I move it around to get in and out of bed or adjust it for my reading. My previous lamp had a cord that kept twisting when I moved it. This one does not. We have black furniture and it just blends in. It is light weight but sturdy and the light settings are excellent.

Great reading light

Very nice light which I'm surprised we don't see more of. My goal in buying this was to find an adjustable dimming LED light with different color temperatures. Also something that could sit above reading chair height with flexible head. This product fit the bill. A good future enhancement would be t0 allow the user to to go through dimming range and color-temp range rather than having 4-5 presets. It is a bit of a trade off as it might take user more time to find their perfect setting but would allow more flexibility. As designed it is a really good light and < $100 a great value too.

We love this floor lamp!!!

We absolutely love this lamp. It is perfect for the area we purchased it for. We also like the two different shades of lighting ie.. bright white or the golden. Each shade comes in 10 different settings of brightness ie.. low to high. It was very easy to put together. The base is solid and very sturdy. Very quality made.

Sturdy, a spectrum of illumination

Lighting spectrum excellent; ease of assembly, excellent; sturdy, flexible. One minus, no height adjustment, just flexible neck. But Purchased 3/10/18, stopped working 7/5/18. Possibly a retaliation to Trump trade restrictions, possibly false advertising about a bulb that would not burn out [it did]--words fail me. Updating 7/6/18. Within an hour of my testy review, I was offered a replacement, no charge, no need to return used item. A+ for Amazon, and will up date lamp's performance. Two days after initiating a one star review of the product, I received a working replacement. Thank you. The replacement is bright, adjustable, sturdy as the first.

Easy to assemble, compact, and great natural spectrum light.

Received today and immediately unpacked and assembled - took about 20 minutes - I'm in my 80's so it took a little longer than the 10 minutes mentioned - LOL! Excellent packaging and instructions. Threaded pipes sections are labeled and fit together smoothly. Small wrench included. Will be using this lamp next to my sofa for reading but I can think of at least 2 other spots in my house to use another one … will wait to see how it holds up before considering buying another. Base is heavy enough to use on carpeting and goose neck is all I hoped it would be - much easier to tilt and adjust than my 15 year old, full spectrum Ott floor lamp that I use daily for knitting. Another of these would also be useful next to my small game table to replace a bridge lamp with a shade that takes up too much head room while giving off too little light. Love the natural light and lamp is short enough and can be tilted enough so it doesn't shine directly in eyes - good field of light for reading or needlework for such a compact light source. Sure hope it lasts the 50,000 hours that it's rated for since it's a throw away - no way to replace leds. My Ott has lasted 15 years without replacing bulb - just replaced bulb a few months ago - but decided to look at led lamps just in case the Ott bulbs go extinct - which is how I spotted this little gem!

Been shopping for perfect design. This lamp is PERFECT!

I love the versatility or the goose neck being aimed in so many directions that you can acquire almost any room ambiance you desire. I have a dislike of the ‘bright white’ glaring lights as, for me, seem to provide a “cold or cool’ feeling but there is two warm settings out of 20 possible settings that is so awesome. We have raised our bedroom floor where our king size bed and a tower on either side fit snug, customized looking but no room for reading or writing lamp. There are little led lights that light up for a book shelf above the head board but are impractical for anything else. This light is so minimal in design that it can be placed beside my tower and still looks well placed with warm lighting and class. I’m thinking about buying another one for other side of bed. Also, it arrived well packaged and very easy to assemble, under 10 minutes and the base is heavy. The lamp seems to lean a little and my husband said the floor is level because when he built the rise he was very careful of the floor being level and square. I plan to move it to different locations to check if it leans in other places and will update this review. Lightning, in general, is expensive but I purchased this lamp during a lightning deal, no pun intended, and saved 20%. I highly recommend this lamp; you won’t be disappointed. I read a couple of reviews who buyers have found a line in the base. My base is good!

Bought a third one

We bought one of these lights for reading, then another for task lighting/sewing because we were so happy with the first one. Our 100lb dog knocked over the second one eventually and broke off the connection with the weighted base. Thus we bought a third one, this time $20 less expensive than the first one I bought. These lights are simply terrific. Pretty easily portable. The ability to adjust the light output to what you are doing - wonderful. They don't get hot, they always work. We are totally happy and will buy more if we need them. This is a great product that we highly recommend.
