I originally reviewed with 3 stars, with concern for stability on the cable. The vendor contacted me and offered to resend a new one (without asking me to send back the original one, which sometimes can be a drag). Now I can play Super Nintendo with my kids.

It works

This cable brought a Nintendo 64 back to life after sitting in storage for about a decade. I first purchased a cheap N64 AV cable on eBay for about $2 less, but it just flat-out didn't work. I wish I had just spent the extra $2 on this cable to avoid all the frustration. Good quality product.

Works as intended!

I’m usually not a fan of purchasing anything online, I’d rather buy things in person to be able to return them if they don’t work or for whatever reason, so at first I was kind of skeptical about buying this. Anyways, I purchased it and it works great, I’ve had it for about 3 weeks now and it is still working fine. If you have an old Super Nintendo somewhere in your garage and need cables for it, I recommend buying these, you won’t regret it and the price is great too.

Just right for Gamecube and newer HDTV

I purchased this cable as a replacement for the original that came with my Nintendo Gamecube. I thought the cable had gone bad, but I'd also upgraded from an old TV and now I think that may have been the issue more than the cable. The Mudder cable is of good quality, length and It fit as expected. I'm pleased with the purchase, but in retrospect I don't think the original cable was actually bad. Let me explain. When I went to connect my Gamecube to up to a newer (Samsung) 24" HDTV that didn't have a yellow composite connection I was stumped. In addition to the white and red, there was a blue (and something I'd never seen before) a half green half yellow input. I plugged the yellow input from the cable into that one and it worked as though it had been on an older set with the red, white and yellow inputs. So check your TV carefully and you too may have one of these dual colored ports! The cable works great for the Nintendo Gamecube and will work with older and newer TVs.

Want to relive the most amazing games on N64, but you misplaced your cord. Buy this! Works great to hook up to a smart TV and get that clear green N64 working again. Had such a great time playing Mario Kart. Con = now I want to order more N64 games.
