I didn't know I was losing so much hair.
Today was the second day I use this vacuum cleaner. It charges maybe in four hours and that lasts for two hours of operation. That little sucker (literally) has gone all around my apartment and has made my self esteem regarding how clean I thought I was go down below the minimums. The first day collected so much dust and hair from the floor that the dust bin was full after the two hours of operation, so it is important to clean it after every use. Today in it's second round was less dust to vacuum so you can see how effective it is. This thing goes up the three carpets I have in my apartment, the thickest one being maybe six milimiter tall. It went under the bed in the room, between chairs, in the bathroom, closet and kitchen. My apartment is relatively small 70 square meters, and in two hours it easily made two runs in every room. So, very happy with the product, until now it does all it's supposed to do. I walked behind it to see how it behaved, didn't get stuck and worked on the edges and the center of the room. Finally after two hours it goes in home mode and docks in its charger without any problems. Something to have in mind is that I have no pets, so the hair laying on the floor comes mostly from my head and my chest, I like to run around with little to no clothes. I named it Rosey as in the Jetsons and I'm so satisfied with Rosey that my wife made me choose between her and the vacuum cleaner. Too bad, I'm going to miss my wife. In a few days I'll update the review.

Kitty litter tested and approved!
Money was tight and I couldn’t afford a new roomba, so I took a chance on this little dude! 1st day on the job and I’m already more impressed with it than I was my roomba! Not only did it do a great job sweeping up my darling fur babies fur tumbleweeds that developed faster than I can shake a broom at, but the real test was in the bathroom where they must throw raves in their litter pan whenever I leave for work. The roomba I had would usually assist in making sure it flung all over. Stepping out of the shower onto Kitty Litter Beach is gross. This little beauty came in and literally cleaned house. It transitioned over my hardwood and rugs without crying out for help and made it up and over the small ledge between the hallway and bathroom that the ol roomba just wouldn’t or couldn’t.

Better Than Roomba
I had a Roomba that crapped out on me recently. My dogs spilled their water bowl while I was at work, and I had the Roomba set on a timer. It ran over the spilled water and fried everything. I have two pugs that shed like mad so I knew I had to get another robot vacuum ASAP. I didn’t want to fork over the cash for a Roomba, so I went with this brand and model instead. I was super apprehensive about buying from a brand I didn’t recognize, but let me tell you - I’m so glad I did. This thing picks up way more than my Roomba, runs much longer, and is much quieter. It’s also a great price. I highly recommend this product!

Great for the price.
Great for the price. Does what is supposed to. I didnt pay for perfection, thus dont expect it. Higher models would have more refined scanning and correction. Fills up quickly, I dont know where it gets all that stuff.. Must be getting stuff I cant even see, thus its good!!

Yas, Queen!
My partner and I have pets and we both work and we have hardwood floors and we like a clean common space. We were sweeping 2-3 times a day and still getting frustrated in between. Then came Rosie. Our house is so clean, our life is so happy! We got her on sale. I can't think of any reason to get a more expensive vacuum unless you just have to have the app integration. Or maybe if you want the mopping feature, because that would be nice. She automatically turns on every morning and goes until she gets low on battery. She then docks herself to charge. The first few runs, we had to empty the container every 20 minutes, but now. It can hold a day's worth pretty easily. Keep it away from thinner (charging) cords! It really messed up a brush the first week we had her. (The photo is her next to what she got over about 3 days) Note: Definitely more effective on hardwood than carpet. She does get dust and dirt out of carpet, but she leaves bigger debris like strings and fuzz

Excellent!
I think your happiness with a robot vacuum depends upon your expectation(s). I think I've had it for about a month and half now. The things I love most about this product are that (i) it goes under my coffee table (which has low clearance and which we refer to as the "black hole"), sofas and beds; (2) it gets up against my baseboards and toekicks in the kitchen; and (3) it keeps my floors tidy on a regular basis. Before the robot, I used to vacuum about once a week. I run the robot (or "release the Hound" as we say) a couple of times a week and I don't feel bad if I have unexpected guests. I have a mixture of flooring types, and the robot generally transitions well among them. It occasionally gets caught on a small area rug, but my regular vacuum would get sucked up right away. Don't expect it to go over any rugs that don't have a rubber backing, it will just push them around. Also best to keep small cords tucked away. I have used twist ties in some cases to secure them. Even though it is round, because the brushes stick out, it gets into corners pretty well. I don't expect this to replace my regular vacuum, but it sure helps me a lot. I don't have any pets at the moment, so I can't say anything about that. I would recommend running the regular vacuum before your first use because the dust canister probably won't hold all of the dust it picks up. Each time I run it there is less in the dust canister, so I feel confident that it is working well. My husband has allergies and I am hopeful that it will pick up dust and pollen and help ease his seasonal allergies.

Quite nicely surprised!
After window shopping Roombas and being put off by the high price I took a chance on this thinking "Well if it doesn't work great it isn't that expensive." I have mainly used this in a large downstairs with all wood and area rugs. I had dry mopped and wet mopped it just 4-5 days previous and figured it wouldn't get much but i wanted to see how it figured the place out. i ran it two times before checking the bin and wow -- so much hair, dust, and other little bits i could not believe. It even seems to take care with many things not to slam into them but it can't notice things like a chair leg as well. On an area that is many hundred square feet there were not a whole lot of places it missed but frankly - if you run it often it will go and get the the next time. And it finds its way back to the base just great - I would recommend making sure you have it clear enough to have a good path to find its home. Overall I'm very impressed. Not alot of additional features like apps and stuff but for what it does, well worth the purchase. Will see how long it lasts.

My Robot Friend
I have had my robot friend, Simon, for a week. First impressions upon opening the box was an “Oooo Aahhh”. The directions said to let your new robot friend charge overnight before first use, but of course, I ran him around immediately to just see how he works! He worked for about ten minutes. I couldn’t figure out how to get him to his home (charging station), but it turns out, he can find his own way home just fine. I recommend that you do take a few minutes to read the directions and familiarize yourself with the remote. It took about 4 hours or so for Simon to fully charge, then I turned him loose. Let me just say, I thought my floors were clean, or, at least, pretty clean. As it turns out, they were not. They were not clean at all. Simon has picked up so much fur, dirt, dust, it’s unbelievable. My floors have literally never looked better! They are CLEAN. For real clean. I’ve always had a hard time cleaning under the bed, but now I don’t have to worry about it at all, because my robot friend takes care of it. I have all hardwood floors and tile. I also have a few throw rugs, some thick, some thin. Simon does a perfect job on the floors, and has no problems navigating over the throw rugs (though he might turn up a corner, but he will run back over it and still get it clean). I don’t think your robot friend would work very well if you have a lot of or mostly carpet. If you have hardwood or mostly hardwood, you will love your new robot friend. Simon mostly gets from room to room okay – the “up” entry points he cannot do on his own. For example, he cannot get over the hump into my kitchen, but he can get down the hump. He also cannot get over the hump to get in the bathrooms. This is actually fine for me, because I prefer to control when he goes into the kitchen anyway so that I can shake off the rugs and/or pick up the cat food and water bowls and any shoes or other things that might be on the floor. I just put a bar stool in his way to keep him from exiting the kitchen when it’s time for him to clean in the kitchen. Simon will clean for about 3 or 3.5 hours. He does not have a “plan” so to speak, not like a person would say go from corner to the center of the room, but he is still very thorough, and obviously, his plan is way better than mine since my floors are so much cleaner than they ever were when I was in charge. My advice is to just trust the process and let your robot friend find his way around on his own! Just make sure that you pick up any cords, especially small cords like phone charging cords, and shoe laces or the like, so that he doesn’t accidentally grab onto something he shouldn’t. Simon also has sensors so that when he comes to a piece of furniture or a wall, he will slow down so as to gently bump it before he turns off into a new direction. I have also noticed that if he comes into contact with a chair or table leg, he will often go in a circle all the way around the leg to clean around it. Once your robot friend is done doing your dirty work for you, he will go back home on his own. If your robot friend cannot find his way home, you may not have provided him enough space. Is that any way to treat your new best friend?? Make sure that he has several feet of clear space in front of his charging station, and that there are a few feet of clear space on the sides of the charging station as well. Also, make sure to empty out his dust bin after every use. One of the fortunate side effects of having my new robot friend, is the “give a mouse a cookie” effect it seems to have had. Give a person a clean floor, and the person may say oh, it looks so clean in here, let me pick up this shirt and put it away. The person then notices that the bathroom trash can is full; since the floors look so nice, the bathroom should be clean, too *cleans bathroom*, and so on. The only thing about my new robot friend, which isn’t enough to bother me at all, is that he is, well, he’s not super loud, but he’s not very quiet either. So, if you are watching tv, you may need to turn it up just a bit if you are running your robot friend while you’re at home. Well worth it for the service he provides, though. Overall, I do recommend this little robot. I am very pleased with this purchase. If you’re in the market for a robot floor cleaning wizard, don’t hesitate to click that Buy Now button.

What a deal for the price! I didn't have high expectations when I bought this so I am actually thrilled with this little robot. First of all - it was very easy to set up. Remote and timer and clock all pretty easy if you follow the directions. Having said that let's get to how the robot works. Will this replace my Dyson Animal? Oh no - it will not. Will it make me happy in the morning when I go downstairs and there isn't a crumb on the kitchen floor? Oh yes - it does! I have two large English Labs - bred for their thick coats. Hair around here is a nightmare. Every Single Day I used to wake up and go downstairs and there would be hair piles everywhere. My floors are all wide plank natural cherry wood and I would walk around with my cordless handheld sucking up hair frequently. I would never find it all and then it would accumulate again and, well, if you have Labs / dogs you know the drill. I do have low profile large area rugs and this does an ok job on them. That's what I will use the Dyson on - weekly instead of every second or third day. This robot saves me a whole lot of time.I set it for 11:00 pm and I can't really hear it if I'm upstairs and the tv is on. Downsides? I wish the dirt cup was a little larger because, again, dog hair here is a challenge. However, it has never gone on strike because it has too much to do. It goes 'home' presumably when it is getting near capacity. I empty the cup in the morning and sometimes run it again if it's convenient. Otherwise it waits until the next scheduled cycle. It doesn't do deep cleaning but it isn't supposed to. It makes my house livable and for that I am grateful to the robot gods. One thing - as soon as it turns on - it heads right for the biggest, hairiest dog if he is in the room. Haha. Dog waits until it is 1" away and then he will get up in disgust and relocate until robot finds him again. For that reason I run it at night when the big hairy dogs are on the bed safe from the creature that goes bump in the night. If this thing dies - I will replace it in a heartbeat.
