Easy way to use a 20 lb propane tank to fire appliances originally designed for a 1 lb bottle

Let's me fire my grill off a 20 lb tank. I can still easily switch back to a 1 lb when more convenient. One end of the hose attaches to the 20 lb tank, the other end is the same as the fitting on the top of a 1 lb bottle, and it screws right into my grill's regulator, right where the 1 lb bottle would screw in. No tools, no additional regulators or adapters. Quality seems about right. It's only 4 feet, which is plenty to reach my grill and all I wanted. No need for the adde bulk of alonger hose.

No more 1lb propane tanks!

I use this for my outdoor, tabletop porch heater that used to use 1lb tanks, now, a 20lb tank fits neatly under the table. The 1lb tanks used to freeze up while using, but by using a larger fuel supply, it doesn't freeze up. I was going to bu one for refueling the little 1lb tanks, then I decided to bypass it and save myslef tons of refueling time. Now I have more time to enjoy the outdoors and have another beer.

Made a big difference in my outdoor heater.

I installed this hose on a tabletop outdoor heater that was using 1lb propane canisters. The heater worked ok with the canisters, but ran out of gas after just a few hours on our covered rear deck. Not only did the higher pressure gas in the 20lb propane tank give us significantly more heat from the heater, but the heater has been used at least a couple of hours every day for the past few weeks and hasn't run out of propane yet. The hose is good quality and exactly as easy as you would expect for installation. The 4' length is plenty for the heater to sit on an outdoor side table top with the 20lb tank under the table.

Great quality money saver!

Update: I've had this hooked up for 6 months now to a grill we use at least 4 times a week. I'm only on my second 20lb tank. If i could give this ten stars I would The fittings are excellent. I was worried about the possibility of this line leaking when I originally ordered it, but it was unfounded. The fittings form a perfect, tight seal with both my 20lb tank and little camp stove. I can't tell you how much this has saved me vs the cost of 1lb tanks in the past month alone. It's a very convenient time saver too-haven't had to swap it out yet I am very, very pleased with this product; wish I would have found it a year ago

Great for RV's and camper's.

I bought this to adapt a 20 lbs LP cylinder to my old Coleman camp stove. Works like a champ! Now I can cook outside my camper when the weather is nice without having to waste money packing around those dinky 1 lbs bottles.

This adapter hose is great for hooking up to my camping stove with two burners, for use for camping, and when there is a power outage..There is a big financial advantage in using your bottle of gas from your grill , its 15 pounds of propane instead of buying the small bottles of propane for the camping stove, which are only one pound,,all you have to do is hook one end of the adapter hose to your propane bottle from your gas grill and hook the other end to your camping stove,,,its very easy and the big bottle of gas has a shutoff valve and the small bottles does not..Great for camping and for emergencies..

Great little hose

This is great to have if you want to power your Mr. Buddy heater from a 20 pound propane tank. It works perfectly also can be used to fill your 1 pound small tanks with an adaptor. Great product highly recommend

Perfect...

...exactly what it says it is and does for less than a similar product with a brand name on it would have cost. I used it to connect a 20lb tank to my Weber Q grill and it works great with no surprises. Now I just need a way to refill the 1lb cans so I don't have to pay for a new bottle every time I want to travel light.
